Always a good HONEST place to do breaks and rotors Fairly priced. Friendly workers. I have used them for all my cars past and present. Dealer wanted to charge $783 to do just back breaks and cut rotors on 2021 Accord. I went here it was less than half the price.

Best service in NJ, fixed my broken tail pipe under 45 mins with very reasonable price! Definitely recommend!

Eddie, Ryan, and the rest of the team are great. Very reliable and trustworthy. I ve used them several times and never felt like I was getting ripped off. The prices are very reasonable and the work is always top notch. I would totally recommend using them for your service needs. They do more than just Brakes & Mufflers too.

Last Thursday I call up the shop And asked if I could stop down to take a look at my Explorer that had an exhaust leak. Rich said no problem to come after work. To my surprise when I got there, Rich took a look on the ground and took a pic of the pipe that had the problem. I asked how much and then asked when could he repair it.He told me he was waiting on another customer who was late. If he doesn't show up in a few minutes, he'd take me!! I was floored!! It was around 4:15 in the afternoon and he pulled it into his shop. Once he got the truck up in the air, he took another pic of the problem, came out to me and explain what it was. Now that is customer service! He then fixed it in about 20-25 minutes and was on my way. All I have to say is if you have any such problems, use this shop!! Was a great experience!!

The whole team here has been so kind and efficient, taken time to educate me on what is going on with my car after going to Meineke where I was given incorrect and even dangerous information on my car. Decent and honest pricing here as well. So grateful we found this place! They ve gotten a loyal customer from here on out. Thank you Ryan and Richie!

I will never go anywhere else but here again. Eddie and his team do a great job and are on time with anything you put on there table. I was suggested by a friend to go get my mufflers deleted on my corvette. I pulled up and the second I got there they put it on a lift and checked everything out. The next day I brought the car and is was done in 3 hours and sounded amazing. 2 months later I bought an after market steering wheel and went there immediately after trying myself for hours. The second I pulled in my air bag was taken out and they were already working on the screw that I couldn t get out. The screw was out in minutes and Eddie and Richie had my new wheel on. Highly recommend there service.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair

Honest mechanics! They give thorough explanations on what s happening without trying to manipulate you. Ryan was incredibly helpful and SO NICE. Will certainly come here again for all my repair services.

I highly recommend this place if you are having any car issues. These guys definitely know what they are doing. They are very knowledgeable. I took my car in for a repair and not only did they figure out the issue quickly but I had my car back the same day.All of the employs that work there are so friendly and professional. They are very honest too !My mom also took her truck to them and she was very impressed with them.Definitely found my self a great mechanic.

I was referred via North Arlington Facebook Group. Ed (owner), Ryan and Ricky are AMAZING. My car was having trouble for 8 months and my other mechanic couldnt figure out problem and just threw in junky spark plugs, needless to say that business is now closed. Ryan and Ricky figured out the problem in 1 day. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Needed my breaks done in a pinch. I had a heavy driving week upcoming, and I knew my front rotors were warped and required replacement. They squeezed me in on a Friday night and did a great job!

They were able to get me in super quick, had amazing customer service and charged fairly. Honestly can t recommend this place more. I came here to have an aftermarket catback exhaust installed and the pricing was reasonable. The installation didn't take too long and they even gave me advice one what to do with the stock exhaust. The following day after the install i realized that one of the exhaust tips were loose. I took it back and within minutes the problem was fixed and I was on my way. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys.Service: Exhaust

I can t believe someone on here just said a mechanics shop was dirty, lolAnd, ready for this? They went to a clean place called meineke that everyone knows it rips you off just because it s clean. LOLHad to be a woman, men understand.They are good mechanics and great customer service.

Aside from their service and decent pricing, I am amazed by their honesty. I went to the shop on 8/22/2019 for a brake change. After I left the shop I realized that I dropped 300 dollar cash somewhere. Knowing that it could be super difficult to ever find those money, I gave them a call. And little did I know, I got a call back from Ed that they found the money in the yard where I picked up the car. THANK YOU Ed and Rich!!

My wife's car suffered a near catastrophic breakdown Saturday night. We had it towed to Bergen Brakes and Mufflers in Lyndhurst and they replaced the alternator on Monday and the bill was much less than I'd anticipated. Unlike almost every dealership and chain repair shop, they didn't try to sell us repairs that we didn't need.

We have come to Eddie and his team at Bergen Brake for almost 20 years. We left the state just recently and their professionalism and services will truly be missed. We have recommended them to our family and friends and every job is well done. We can only hope we can find a relationship like we had a Bergen Brake. My car had been making an awful clanging that turned into a clunking and I was afraid the bottom was going to fall out! My boyfriend had his car serviced here a few weeks prior and recommended I bring my 1 payment remaining Volkswagen to Bergen Brakes and Muffler to have them check it out. We dropped off my car on a Thursday night, I was back in the saddle Friday evening. They diagnosed and fixed my suspension in 1 day and now drives the same way it did in 2013, when I drove out of VW dealership. VW wanted to charge $4k for a complete fix (did I mention I owe 1 more payment.) Bergen Brakes and Muffler charged a heck of a lot less than that. Cannot thank you guys enough, I will surely be back if I need anything, have already advised my dad to use you, and will recommend to colleagues as I work down the street. Thanks again!

AMAZING! From the minute you're greeted at the door your confident your car is in the right place. Everyone is super nice and take the time to explain your options. Definitely a place you can trust! Thank you Ed and everyone for making us feel like family.

5 months ago I got the brakes done on my daughter's car and last week I got the brakes done on my car. Both experiences were Great. I would highly recommend using them and will definitely use them in the future.

I ve been going to Ed s shop for a couple of years. They have always been super kind and offered reasonable rates. Whether you need some help when you re on the road or you re a local in search of a new mechanic - you can trust Ed and Rich. Good people + good prices = no brainer.

Extremely fair and reliable repair shop. I was referred by a friend years ago and have never regretted it. If you are not a "car person" you don't have to worry about getting dazzled into unnecessary work. They work with warranties and local parts places to keep your wait times short!

I called and they seemed knowledgeable about the problem I described that my general mechanic doesn t handle. Got there and they do not wear masks. Helped another customer that arrived after me before talking to me. And their office was filthy. I went to Meineke instead.

Reasonable people with a broad mechanical skill set. They do well and I have always felt taken care of going on 15 years of used and new cars..and their rates are always in the low end of internet search estimates. Always at or below the low price estimates!
