John is truly the BEST in the business! He is honest and fair always, returns your call, and just a genuinely great person. I continue to bring my car to him even though I have moved out of the area, because he is the only person I trust to tell me what is truly going on with my car. I would highly recommend John and Jay to anyone who needs service done on their vehicle!

Quite skilled and professional. Dealership diagnosis for the issue with my car was completely wrong. Glad i went for a second opinion because Global would have had me pay 2k for something that didn't even need replacing without fixing the real problem, which the Valley team tracked down. So glad i found these guys!Unfortunately, as i write this review it looks like i'll be bringing them even more work with my other car.

This review is now an update from my last visit almost a year ago, but I have to say John is such an honest, genuine person to do business with. He always has been fair about exactly what was wrong with my car and when things went wrong recently and it was thought to be from repairs he warrantied, he did everything he could to diagnose and find the problem without charge, checking multiple times over the course of two weeks. Plenty of scummy places out there wouldn't afford such decency and if I still lived in the area I'd still be a recurring maintenance customer. We will always recommend folks in the area to go to him, but all in all there is a good reason why he's the busiest shop around!

I've been taking my cars to John for 20+ years. They are awesome and honest mechanics. It's nice to see that there are people around who still do business with a handshake and their word means something. I don't know what I would do without them! I can't recommend them enough!

These 2 gentlemen are a rare breed. It s more about being a satisfied client than a transaction to them. They only do what s necessary and there s never an annoying upsell once they get under the car. They are immensely competent and price competitive always. And responsive to boot. We discovered them 3 years ago and we ve never looked back. Great job John and Jay.

They are the best, experienced and honest. The air conditioning in my 'vette has not worked in over twenty years. I heard the stories of very expensive rebuilds so I just drove faster in the hot days. Finally took it to Valley where I have been going for many years expecting the worst due to the time that has elapsed. Valley fixed the issue with an inexpensive recharge of the system.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

Very pleased with the work done at this shop. They serviced my Lexus and made sure they used all the correct specific fluids for the car and did an excellent job. Will be coming here in the future.

Stop searching now. This is your place! I am new to NJ and was let down by the poor workmanship and honesty around the automotive world in NJ....Until I stumbled across John and Jay at Valley Center Automotive. They won t let you down. Quick turnaround, low cost, and honesty.

I've been going to Valley Center for 20+ yrs. I worked there in my late teens and witnessed first hand that they do what they say, don't not sell you something you do not need and are very fair. I wish there were more businesses I could say the same about.
