Moise Gontrant the store manager is so nice, honest and compassionate. Living 2h away from his store, my car broke down and I was afraid of the bill but I had to pay less than $150 for a minor pb, no extra fees and charge and Mike was nice too. In all amazed but this garage !!! Thank you for your honesty and kindness

I had scheduled an appointment to have my tires balanced and mounted. However, I received an email just two hours before my appointment time stating that it was cancelled. Unfortunately, there was no accompanying phone call or explanation provided, and my attempts to reach the store by phone have been unsuccessful. This lack of communication and unresponsiveness is very disappointing and reflects poorly on the professionalism of the establishment. It seems that the negative reviews were accurate, and I regret not taking them into consideration earlier.

After deciding to get the tire changed, I left the front desk and went to my car to love the items from the trunk to the cabin of the car. The person I was speaking with inside met me outside and said, "I will take the keys so you don't have to come back inside." I gave the key and he told me he will call me to let me know when they service was finished. While, I was walking to another store for warmth I thought about what he said about returning to the store and while I was in the store he also suggested I should go to a pizza store close by. I spent over 1 hour walking around in ShopRite and then I decided to call while I was standing outside for about 10 minutes after spending 1 hour in the supermarket, only to see the car parked outside and I did not receive a call! Therefore, not being able to sit in your waiting area while I spend money with your business is the lowest! I will never recommend or do business here again!

from the moment I made the phone call and made the appointment to going to the shop and waiting for my vehicle was very happy with the service. Moses was a pleasure to deal with .He had a very nice demeanor and was very attentive to my needs. i would definitely recommend this particular Firestone and go back.

The staff seemed friendly. I stopped in and said I wasn t sure if they would be able to help me - but was assured that they could. I explained the situation, they said my car would be done by 1:30. I explained that I had to be to work in a neighboring town by 2:15 so that would work perfectly. And here I sit at 2:30 still waiting for me car. If they couldn t do it in the time frame they specified I wouldn t have left it. Just disappointed and probably won t go back to this location

Everytime I come in here it's a new issue. Last time my brother was in there and all he needed was his keys because they finished his services and the guy ignored my brother for 20 min. They keys were right behind the desk all they had to do was give him his keys he did all the paper work. But the lazey employees don't want to help. Came in today. I scheduled an oil change for 12:30 I took of work for that hour bc the guy on the phone said it would take an hour if I wait. I go in and now he tells me it's going to be hours because they were backed up from the day before. Why don't just tell me that on the phone so I don't mess up my schedule like they just did. If you want a simple oil change go right across the street to the jiffy lube. They will have it done quick with no apt. My whole family now stays far away from Firestone. Just filled with a bunch of lazy old men

I had a horrible experience at this auto shop. They lost my car key and claim I didn't give it to them. Luckily my wife had a spare key. The guy that works there "Len" tells me he never received a key from me which is a lie or flat out forgot that I handed the key to him. I asked him to check the cameras and he decline. This experience ruined my day. This review will remain a 1 star until they find the key they lost or give me a replacement.

So disappointed. We took my car in to the shop and it took a week for them to FIX a coolant leak. And charge $500. 3 days ago when I picked it up. Drive home. Today April 11th I m having the same problem I keep looking how this liquid comes out my car and see that nothing was replaced how they said. I think this totally unfair after me trusting this mechanics giving them time to fix the problem and nothing. Pictures of the car supposed fix

Had my break light go out a week after it was fixed at this location. Moses took care of it and honored the warranty within minutes. Moses is good....gets the cars looked at fast and gives you the option to repair.

Manager Mike Kirschner is genuine and knowledgeable. It's clear he cares about customers, and it's easy to discern this comes naturally to him. As I sit in the shop, it's comforting my car is in good hands.

I usually come here to change or patch up my tires and that s about it. They do a great job at it and have no complaints on my end. Haven t had any other kind of service done yet to give any feedback but I ll update as time goes on

I had a good experience at Firestone today. My battery had been giving trouble in the cold. I walked in and Moise was very pleasant. He said he could fit me in. They were clearly busy but as a walk in I couldn t complain!$150 and 30 minutes later I walked out with a new, reliable battery installed.The price is competitive in the area and I appreciated the quick turn around.

I had a great experience. As I needed to ensure my daughter went back to college with a reliable car, Moses made that happen. The car was thoroughly checked and fairly appraised. I received a call with the estimate and gave the approval to make repairs. Professional and experienced staff. Highly recommended.

I am now done with Firestone. I've been a customer through three vehicles for more than 15 years. I first started with Firestone on Route 36 when I was a young adult now I'm a senior citizen. The problem is the service has become ineffectual -- the lack of communication; the failure to have sufficient staff, the long wait. There needs to be a assistant manager who knows how to respond to customers and manage the flow of calls and how service on cars is being handled. Everybody's friendly (except one mechanic) and as most reviews have acknowledged, Moises is a great person to talk to and has a welcoming and friendly attitude (and the only reason i gave 3 stars), but it doesn't change the quality of the service. Now I have an old car and so far, I think the work itself has been fairly done. Time will tell. However, I also think the prices are exorbitant at $160-170 per hour - a flat rate no matter the work that is being done. I think I will try AAA next time, maybe I will have better luck.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Battery, Oil change

We came to Firestone while traveling through NJ when our car radiator overheated. Mike was kind, courteous and immediately went out and checked our car. He found the issue and immediately ordered the part and explained the problem and cost of repair clearly. The car was repaired much sooner than we expected and we were on our way. Thank you Mike and all of Firestone for the great customer service!

The manager Darryl Regis at this location is extremely rude, condescending and has an overall nasty attitude. Besides for having to wait 10 minutes for someone to help me despite no other customers on site, 10 employees in the garage waiting for work and 5 out of 6 lifts being empty.I had 4 new tires shipped here from Tirerack for installation. After looking up my order for 5 minutes, Darryl asked what car they would be installed on (even though he knew already from the Tirerack order), he refused to install them citing "we don't work on those types of cars". The car is a 2006 with a standard 5-lug wheel! After pressing him further and reminding him that there is nothing special about installation of tires on this standard wheel, and that none of this is in their restrictions or terms, he still refused to work on it. I asked if he can have the tires taken to another local shop, and he refused to help and told me to take them myself.Overall a terrible experience and you can be sure I will never visit here again. I also put in a complaint with Bridgestone/Firestone and will let them know what an embarrassment this "manager" is for such a well-known tire company.

Ok about my experience i had appointment on that store on 07/25th, they call me and told me to give back in the next day 11 cause the machine needs be calibrated, i went back today leave my car they start work on it 6:20 and the guy just rotate my tires and i had to call Firestone to ask what's happening, the guy lift my car again and now 7:16 they're doing the balance, about the alignment? They wanna me to come back another day to do it.If you plan to leave your car here, watch your service, looks like they pretend to do.Idk if it's something linked to new way to Firestone work, or just this store.

Great service here. It s not local to me I just went in for a leak in two of my tires because I was working in the area. The manager Mike took excellent care of me and my vehicle got me in and out quickly and did a check up on my car while it was there discovered my wipers needed to be replaced (great call in started pouring an hour after I left). I highly recommend Mike and the crew at Firestone

Been coming here for years. Moses and his team of technicians are top notch! Very helpful in trying to help you rather then sell you. I had a turn signal light out. Funny thing is I was there for new tires but the technician went above and beyond and took the new bulbs that were sitting in my center consult and installed them for me at no extra charge. Super good guys. Highly recommend. Thanks guys!! Abe

Way to overpriced. Got my car back with issues that it did not go in with. And then I get the runaround that it because it came in on a tow truck it was not their responsibility. Worst experience possible. Rep failed to tell me about $100 diagnostic fee in multiple conversations about price. He was INCREDIBLY rude when we finally talked about it. I have never been so disrespected at any place of business. I could go on, but I don t want to drag anyone. Just want to warn people not to go to this firestone. With that said, I followed up with Firestone s customer service and they were helpful.

My husband and I had been driving into town for my father s funeral when our brakes decided they were ready for replacement. The team here squeezed us out of staters in on a busy Saturday afternoon and had us back in business within hours. The service team here is amazing and the work was done efficiently at a good price.Special kudos should go to Len, one of the people who works at the desk and answers phones. We watched this poor man deal with some of the most difficult customers, especially one lady by phone, and he did it with grace and top notch customer service, trying to find alternative solutions to appease this woman, and he never faltered in his customer service no matter how much he was being yelled at over something absolutely beyond the shop s control. This man is an asset in customer service!!Thanks again!Josh and David Allen-Clark(The burgers and fries guys)

I had kids In the neighborhood think it's funny to loosen lug nuts. By the time I realized something was wrong I was at Firestone and aside from them thinking I'm trying to cut the line and would you believe Firestone amazingly enough did not "or would not " have lug wrench that could fit a Subaru. I really think three stars are 3 to many.

Took my car here for a simple oil change and tire rotation, ended up getting a call that stuff needed to be done to my air filters, needed new windshield wipers, and they needed to do a brake fluid exchange. A simple routine checkup turned into $367. I paid it, putting trust in these people that they would do the right thing. For 2 years, i have drove my car with zero mechanical problems. 4 days after taking my car here, my brake light comes on. While driving, my brakes completely stop working. Had to take it back and they tried to claim it could ve been an issue before, which is completely false. After looking at my car, they call to say that it s going to be nearly $1000 because the brake fluids exploded all over my car. They failed to do their work properly and now I am suffering the consequences. When they were challenged, they brought the price down to $700 because they knew they were wrong. Told them not to service my car and went to pick it up and bring it somewhere else. Do not bring your car here. Do not trust the people that work here. They are rude, dishonest, and should be ashamed of letting someone drive away with a car that was not safe to drive.

I had been here several times before and always been satisfied with the service, however after my experience last week I will certainly not be back again. After waiting an hour and a half for an oil change, I was told it couldn t be done because a special tool was needed. I was asked to come in again the next day to which I agreed. When I called to confirm I was coming, I was told that I was not on the schedule and couldn t be helped that evening. The gentleman that answered the phone was shockingly rude and displayed no compassion or remorse for the situation despite Firestone being the ones that made me wait and asked me to come back. On top of that, when I went elsewhere to get my oil changed, I learned that whoever had tried to change it before (Firestone) had ruined part of the frame of my car and now I need to take it to another garage for service. Terrible customer service and quality of work all around.

I sent my daughter to check brakes on her vehicle because i "trusted these people" maybe because they saw a young girl they did a whole check up on the vehicle, air cabin filter, tire rotation and oil change which she already changed at LUB IT ALL in eatontown. They gave her a quote for over a thousand dollars. It's a shame and so embarrassing that you guys wanna take advantage of young kids who have no experience in vehicles. And because i didn't wanna do anything i got charged 22 dollars when all we wanted was to check the brakes. No tires, no oil change, cabin filters or anything else underneath the vehicle just brakes. Disgusting people to make business.
