Brought my car in because I had no idea what was going on with it.. I just knew there were some issues. Man, Wesley was the absolute best thing to happen to my experience with Pep Boys and this store. He really walked me through every single thing, he explained it to me the best way he could so I understood and then did his best to apply active online coupons to my services to help me save on my servicing! I wish more dealerships and mechanics has a man like him on staff. He s so friendly and takes the time to help and walk you through it all. Because of him and the great service, I ll be coming back to fix the rest of the stuff in a few weeks! So thankful for him and the mechanic that got it done for me and so quickly too!

I showed up 30 minutes before closing they refused me service for a tire rotation. Crazy to think they would turn away business I took my business across the street to Sammy s tires and he was done in 20 minutes

We re do I start with this place. Go in for a tire change thinking it was going to be a one day affair only to have it turn into a me having to return to the shop multiple times because they couldn t complete a simple tire change. They put the tires on so bad that they need to replace the whole hub on one of my tires because the mechanic stripped the bolt when he was putting the tire back on. Not only did they have to replace my hub they also forgot to put one of the lug bolts back onto the tire. On top of that you could remove the other lug bolts with your bare hand. Now last time I check you needed to use a tire wrench to get one of those off. I basically drove off from the shop with a death trap waiting to happen. Thank god it snowed that week so I didn t drive it for almost a week. The only reason I found out any of this was because my dad went to go change my breaks pads (which the shop also tried to get me to fix and thank god I didn t because god only know how bad they would have messed that one up). Wesley the manager here was all nice until he realized his employee really messed up my tire and they had to fix everything. I spent so much money for the tires and the service, the only thing I asked for was a refund on the tire installation which cost me $120. It s been almost two months of me trying to fight for this refund. I called the manager Wesley who wasn t helpful so I resorted to calling corporate who was no better. Every time I ve called corporate they tell me someone will reach out to me but they never do. Don t waste your money here. Go across the street to mavis tires I m sure you ll have a better experience.

I came last minute this past Friday because I got a flat tire on my way home from work (got punctured really badly; definitely couldn't be plugged). I called and Jhad was quite hospitable on the phone. He assured me that they had a tire available in the size I needed. After getting my spare put on, I drove to their location and they helped me out right away. Jhad was very friendly and provided me with great customer service from start to finish. Gian was the mechanic who worked on my car. Despite it being almost time for him to go home, he still made time to answer my questions and give me advice on the rest of my tires. I loved their service so much that I scheduled to have my other three tires there replaced this week.

UPDATE: They did take my car back and kept it overnight and drained the oil and refilled it. I drove 4 hours over the weekend and everything worked fine. Wesley, I guess he is the manager up front, was very nice, understanding and professional! He refunded my original payment, and covered my Lyft to and from home and the shop. He explained it was a mistake by someone new. SO, even though initially it was a one star experience, in the end they made things right. Thank you!INITIAL REVIEW: even if I could give negative reviews I would!!!! All I wanted was an oil change!!!! Reception guy was fine, but some moron overfilled my oil, almost double past the full line. So I write this as I sit waiting for AAA to come tow me back. I literally just had this done and only made it maybe 3 miles and smoke and backfiring - the telltale symptom of overfill and sure enough .I ll add a pic. Btw first time to a Pep Boys ever.

Wesley was great. Very honest sent me pics to show me what the issues were. Super effcient had my Jeep back in a few hours. Will be coming back for future repairs.

I had the best experience. Vinsen was very nice and polite. My car was done in less than 20 mins! I ll recommend this place 100%

While the front office staff were excellent, the service / mechanic was "trying to help me out" and "take care of me" by bringing me to my vehicle and saying "Just look at that, man....". Look at what? "Oh man, your brakes, your struts too..." and little else. My brakes and struts what?!? Very little explanation of "problems" found, assumed I just say yes to a bunch of work I wasn't asking for and didn't need. They installed (2) new tires - all good with those. In leaving, my car had a serious wobble it didn't have when I arrived. I was so put-off by the mechanic, I immediately drove to an excellent mechanic shop, someone I trusted, who straightened my rim. I won't be going back and I hope others don't have this experience. No doubt they do good work, but don't act incredulous when someone declines you trying to convince them they need something. Take a "no thanks" as just that.

This is the second time I ve booked an oil change here, first time I was told the website doesn t always work for booking and I ended up staying almost three hours until service was complete.Today I tried again and even called this morning to confirm my booking. When I arrived I was asked what are you doing here by a mechanic in the shop before I entered the building. I explained I had an oil change appointment and he said it would be hours before I could be serviced because they had more important service to complete. When I entered no one checked me in at the front desk so I took my keys (which no one had bothered to even collect) and left for valvoline!!Not sure why they d confirm the appointment this morning if they weren t going to have time!I normally have good experiences at pep boys but this location sucks DO NOT BOOK AN OIL CHANGE HERE

Just terrible service. I dropped off my car before store opened Saturday morning. I called at noon and they said there was a mix up and they are going start on my car. Around 5pm they called and said car will be ready by 7pm when store closes. I was there until 930pm and car wasn't ready. Car ready 1130am Sunday.

If you don t like to waste time, please avoid here. Arrived for a 1pm oil and coolant change appointment done on website and was told 1-1.5 hours to be done. At this point, we were told to wait an additional 1 hour to finish.Unfortunately, The entire process took 4.5 hours waiting without being told the exact time. It would have been understandable if the cashier and the mechanics actually communicated the correct amount of time, so we could have gone home and come to pick up the car. Without false promises extending by 30 minutes at a time, keeping us here on a store in the middle of the highway.Then the front blamed us for booking the appointment in the pepboys website (? What s the point of pre booking), when we asked how much longer it would take.

Don t bring nothing here watched them bring an suv onto the alignment rack with the trunk open, garage door wasn t all the way up and they smacked the trunk Tailgate on the garage door, manager proceeds to come out and act like nothing happened. Would never leave my car here unattended.

Wesley and his team are the absolute best ! Took me in right away and were able to diagnose everything. Fixed it right away. Customer service was excellent and I Highly recommend them !

after having a bad experience at mavis in ridgefield park i came to this pep boys. they inspected my tires, free of charge, explained why i could've had my tires go flat, and removed the warning on the dashboard.

I made an appointment at noon for an oil change and tire rotation. Staff told me if would take an hour. Another customer walked in for battery replacement without an appointment.His service was done before mine.I had to wait 1 hour and an half.I would not recommend this place.

George and Armen at this PepBoys location have been absolutely amazing to approach my car issues with. Had two tires and alignment done. They were more than accommodating and went out of their way to help and make sure I got to my rental car when I left my car there. They were forthcoming with discounts that were available, were swift and helpful with rescheduling my appointment when I had to change the date. Brilliant guys.

Amazing experience at this location! My tires are perfectly balanced and aligned. I came to this location as a result of vibration in my steering wheel after having my tires installed at another Pep Boys location. Everyone at this location was so helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to fix the mistakes of the other location. I will be recommending only this location to friends and family going forward. Thank You!

I would highly recommend if you're considering coming to this location to go to Hackensack or Hasbrouck Heights Pep Boys instead. This location lost my wheel lock after coming in for a flat and Wesley, the so called manager could not handle a simple customer service complaint. All I wanted was a replacement. He spoke down to me because I am a woman who doesn't know about cars, demeaned me, never once apologized, and reprimanded me for calling customer service. He also let me know that I should not care that they lost the locks because I had an older car. He should not be in a managerial position. I called customer service and specifically requested to resolve my issue at another location or with another manager because I did not feel comfortable with the way he treated me and he decided to call me to reprimand me again. This is harassment.He also left my car in an unsafe condition and I had to have it fixed again later. Go to Hackensack Pep Boys...

The reception is very good, however the workers are HORRIBLE and INEXPERIENCED. Almost 2 HOURS to change 2 tires???!On top of that, the bearded worker with eye glasses is not doing his job properly, and rude with customers. I regret going there and will never recommend anybody neither.

Female working the front desk is clueless. Needed a headlight replacement. She couldn't get the headlight removed to find the part #. So she goes to her computer and is unable to find the bulb #. Told me to "take it to the dealer". Went down to firestone down the street and they took care of me in 5 minutes. Theyre clueless!

I have a car with high mileage (over 280,000 miles!) and have been getting taken care of by this location. I have had lots of work done to my car and I feel like I was taken care of very professionally and quickly. The repairs held up and my car runs great still! Obviously, there can be a wait at times, but it was well worth it. The Assistant Manager ANTHONY is amazing. He is extremely professional and fair. I HIGHLY recommend going to this location for all of your car needs. Just a tip...call in advance if possible and make an appt with Anthony so he can get you taken care of quicker. I won't be going anywhere else for my car needs!

Wesley the new manager was great. after my last experience with the last female supervisor, Wesley went above and beyond. The 2 male techs take took care of me were amazing professional and friendly. My car is running great not shaking anymore and my stress level is down lol Thank you Pep Boys definitely coming back and sharing my experience with family and friends.

Made appointment online late Friday night for a next morning tire service (4 new) and wheel alignment. It did take longer than I expected but it was Saturday so they were understandably busy. There was an issue with my Pep Boys credit when checking out and the manager Wesley went above and beyond to get it cleared up. He is so personable and a pleasure to do business with. Will definitely be bringing them more business.

This will be my ... First & last ... I'll never come here again....bad experience !!!I came here to replace my front brakes but while waiting I come to ask the Manager of how long it takes ... he replies so rudely...I was very disappointed; Manager is very unpleasant and after my front brake is replaced my neighbor notice my 2 front tires was.smokes come from the tires and strong odor of burn andmy brake pedal somehow makes a sound and it wasn't like this before.Now ... I begin to worry if all their workers are a true mechanic...Lesson & learn ... don't risk your money at PepBoys anymore.... never ever again ...!!!

Angie on the counter was the Best she made sure my car was done and she tookme in as a walk in no appointment so i expected my wait time to be crazy. Angie took good care of I was extremly happy when i walked out.

Do not go this place. Totally not recommend to any car repair. I drop my rav4 2016 to Break fluid flush and add new fluid and transmission fluid change. I got call car ready after 6 hrs.they offer me free 1 oil change and gave me 50$ discount. I felt this something wrong. I picked and just checked. Same brown colour fluid in it. And look down its not even touched . Totally did nothing and took money.i went back asksaying they did the job , but then one gcand check and went in a a discussion with mechanics . I ask how they did it. No answer. Just took out from break fluid cap, not drain from tires and break lines. What type of break fluid change that?? But nothing change. One man offer do again. Even after they did again, break level in low. Its mean now break system has air in it. Totally f ed up.I m not sure they did the transmission fluid changed or not. Cant believe now. Zero trust on pepboys now.Best thing now i see my transmission area has oil drops on ground. I ll make sure if it s leak, i ll do what right to do.So people. Do not go this place . If u cant see the repair by your self u will be cheated and scamThey think we a bumb, if u a lady or other race they play with u. Totally wasted my money and my vehical. If my transmission leaks now i dont know what to say to these peopleAll pic added.

Angie is great, always explains everything in a way that I can understand. The entire team of mechanics, are good. I've never had a bad experience with them.
