I have gone to Pomeroy's multiple times for regular maintenance and engine light issues. Rick is always great to deal with. He and his partner spend a lot of time resolving everything and charging good prices. Rick and Anthony are the best people to work with!! I had a problem with my SUV that they fixed very quickly. I had a great experience! I see why they have been in business over 70 years. They are very knowledgeable, caring and efficient. Overall a great value and experience!

What a great experience. I went into to check out a rattle on my Subaru. We live in town and my husband always takes his car to Rick. Rick quickly figured out the problem and was able to get the car back to me that day. He was honest and capable, the price was fair. Who knew it, my husband was right. Definitely a good experience.

My wife and I moved to Livingston in 1993 and since then Rick and Gary have been taking care of all of our cars. Some of our kids now have their own cars and they also take them to Pomeroy's. Overall they do great honest work with fair prices.

I always prefer to use the services of local, family owned enterprises, when such are available, rather than using "big box" stores that may be able to do the work, but don't have the same vested interest to do great work to ensure repeat business. When I came to Pomeroy's Garage with internal water leakage an exhaust issue, my expectations for quality work were high, but the end result exceeded my anticipations. Rick Pomeroy knew that the work that would have been done by a competitor was only half of the job and would have meant a repeat visit, he recommended a full exhaust system replacement. The price was more than fair, the work was expertly done, and he even had the old-fashioned respect for his work and his clients to top off the work by adding the cosmetic but attractive tail spout to the muffler, a feature that made my old car look like new, not to mention, putting a smile on my face.Pomeroy's Garage, please accept my business for many years to come!

I have been using Pomeroy's for over 10 years at the suggestion of my neighbor who used them for decades. They have always serviced my 3 vehicles with honesty and integrity. They always explain the work done and inform me of any potential problem or future maintenance . Years ago, I had a starter installed and after about 1 year later, it failed and they informed me it was still under warranty. I was not expecting that. They are not out to make a quick buck. They treat you as the neighbor you are and have provided me with great service always.

Very trustworthy and to the point. I took an older model ranger in and they told me EVERYTHING wrong with it that the other mechanic I took it to didn't even mention( I had a full list I handed over that they ignored)! I wish I had come to them first before losing money on repairs that didn't help the situation. I ended up getting a brand new truck, so I won't be stopping by this place for a while. But I most definitely will be coming back when I need a good mechanic! They are tough to come by and these guys are it!

i dropped off my car to have them replace the brake pad about a year ago. they recommended to replace all brake pads and rotors which i agreed to. got billed $700+ ( i recently found that is almost twice expensive if i had the job done somewhere else). The rotor started getting rusted one week after the replacement (i was too lazy to ask them thought it was normal). Recently the hub of the rotors are completely covered by rust. The rotor got rusted so bad that i hear very loud sound when driving slow or braking. Firestone people took a look at the car and advised me to get them replaced. i told them i just replaced them less than a year ago. They told me that i should ask whoever did the replacement.I would never come back again to this garage and will warn anyone i know who has the intention to do so. They ripped me off and now i have to go somewhere else to get new rotors.Dont know where the 5 star reviews came from. If you are planning to go , good luck to you.If I can give 0 star, I would.

This was my first time here, and I definitely recommend! Rick explained everything, and gave recommendations before completing any work (which was completed the same day)! I received friendly, fast, and honest service, with fair prices for both parts and labor....can't ask for more than that!!

Finding a god mechanic is not easy. So, I feel really lucky to have found Pomeroy's Garage. They are clearly very experienced and great at diagnosing problems. And they don't pile on lot's of unnecessary work. Highly recommended!

I've been doing business with Pomeroy's for 30 years. The very first time I went to them they I had a broken head gasket. Tony came in on a Saturday and did the job. When I went to pick it up Tony said you only needed half the head done. The price was half of what I expected. That was the first time 30 years ago. First place I go for any problem is Pomeroy's.Anthony DiTringo
