I say if you get towed to this shop and they tell you a few hours it will literally take all day even if it s something basic. So prepare yourself I wouldn t be surprised if they don t complete it just make sure u have what u need to stay warm u can t stay in ur truck even though they not working on it yet.

I was been a customer for more than 5 years I bought a spare part for my truck and after verifying was not the part that needed to be changed and after 10 days I needed to return the product without having used it and to my surprise they wanted to charge me 20% off the total amount I paid !!They are BIG SHAMELESS THIEVES be very careful people!!!!

Was happy till my transmission burn yesterday on road 78. Three weeks after repairs. They forget to put oil in my truck transmission. My truck was in the International Shop from Jan. 19, 2019-Feb. 04, 2019 for repair after an accident had occurred on Jan. 17, 2019. On Feb.04, 2019 I had picked up my truck from the dealership and went straight back to work. For three weeks I did the same work everyday where in one day, I drove 145 miles total with a legal break in the middle for 40 minutes.The weather at the time was 14 to 30 deg. On March 4, 2019, I began doing the same work but I only drove 54 miles when I began hearing a noise from my truck. I pulled over to the shoulder of the road and then my transmission seized. I called for a tow truck and told them to bring the truck to Trans American Truck Repair since they had done a job on my clutch 1.5 years ago and I was under the impression that the issue was the clutch. After they did a check-up, they found out that my truck didn t have trans oil which needed 3.5 fresh gallons. In Jan. they changed my trans cooler and they were supposed to put oil back into the trans and never did. When they said oil was leaking I went to my truck and took many pictures which proved there was no leak under or around trans, as they said that there was. Trans Amer provided me with a letter which stated ...no visual oil leak in unit (transmission seal in good condition) no reason to have no oil, no broken housing or any other damage in unit .Good luck to other people ho will go there

First time customer. Brought in my International DuraStar 4300 for repair. I dealt with Ron from service department and was very happy with him. He kept me updated and was fair with me when it came to pricing. Turn around time was acceptable. Problem resolved and all seems good. Love the email update system; sent me updates when truck was being repaired; completed; tested and ready for pickup. Will be using them again if needed. Thanks again guys!

Parts is very slow. I spent about 45 minutes there just to pick up a part I ordered the day before. The staff is also very unwelcoming. Poor attitude. They make you feel like you're bothering them just by being there.

My husband brought truck in.. took 1 month to fix and many thousands of dollars. They said it was problem with the turbo. 2 months later truck won't start. He took back. They stated the engine was shot and it would be $30,000!!! You just fixed the turbo and my husband specifically asked if motor was in good shape. They said all was fine. Never again. Also, staff nasty and not helpful. If I could give zero stars I would. BEWARE!!!

I would give Mid Atlantic a higher rating, but frequently the service department is inconsistent. They are excellent at performing warranty work. They are rarely straightforward about turnaround times. I would much rather be told that my vehicle will not be looked at for 2 days, than to be told, day after day, "we are looking at it after lunch" or "we are looking at it right now". I have GPS installed on all my vehicles, that inform me when the vehicle has been turned on or off or moved. Often I am told that the vehicle is being test driven, or is in the shop, when it has never moved from the lot. Other than that, the staff is professional and friendly.

Going on 4 months since we paid for the truck purchased and they still have not provided the title. Been told more than once we would have any day and that day has yet to come. Our salesman avoids calls, texts and emails.

Unless you are a big company they don t want to rent to you! They ask for astronomical deposits and do everything in there power to say no! My question is why, aren t you in the rental/ lease business??? Everybody is not gonna be FedEx or UPS, the rental guy Kevin Quinn is horrible, I met all his request and when I tried to have a conversation with him he was indignant and walked away from me! There are a lot of little guys out here who need to rent or lease from time to time for whatever reasons and I know a lot of you! I IMPLORE YOU ALL, call me, bite the bullet, do whatever it takes but stay FAR AWAY from ideallease/ mid Atlantic truck center as best you can for as long as you can! Better to suffer than to do business with people that look at and say they base their business on risk management, really??? What s your risk with my 5000 grand deposit in hand??? You run no credit, how do you base your risk???? Please everyone who reads this heed my warning and stay away!!! I had to tap something but would give them no stars if possible!!!!!

They show parts close time 10 PM but no body was there in parts or service or office around 6.30 PM.They should update google Open and Close Time.Customer service is very poor.

Had a little snafu with shipping address verses billing address, but they took care of it in a timely fashion and was pleased with their service and product.

New truck sales poor customer service. Resubmit the same paperwork that they cannot fine I guess they don t keep customer files then They blame the girl in the office ! Its easy to push the blame on somebody else. I handed a photo copy of corp directly to these people and they called me asking me again for same info . When I picked up the truck I said to ray how do you pair the Bluetooth He says well it s in the manual ..Normally a salesman would say OK let me show you how to do this... dont blame covid because Timing timing it s laziness...bill is no better 3 hrs to respond to get copy of vin for insurance qoute ...I think it comes down to laziness I wish the owner would call me .... like to talk face to face

horrible people!!! my boyfriend is trying to get his truck fixed and he is losing work because they are not professional. his is a single dad and works so hard and the way they treat him is very sad. they lie steal and cheat hard working people while laughing in their faces. bad company. beware

We always order parts from them and once in a while we have to go get them, be ready to wait because there s 6-8 people just sitting there and won t take care of you, and once they decide to attend you, they act like they are doing you a favor.

Parts department is ripoff ,when I asked the salesperson for the part number he's like I'm not going to give u because u will buy from another store. I went and bought same part from Cambria in Elizabeth for half of the price.
