hey my name is Robert Andrews, I am a common customer for the past 3 days of me coming to buy parts the internet and computer has been down, then it will come back on. The store manager and her team were working their best to try to service everyone. They kept calling to reach the IT team but they were not helpful and the same thing is still going on. Today I waited over an hour to get parts. It's unacceptable that the IT team couldn't come in to take a better look at system because it's been 3 days already with the same issue. This is my favorite advanced auto to come to because of the service and the store manager it's only right they have a good system to work with because this can't continue I have multiple vehicles I work with and I'm always buying parts. Please have someone physically come from IT to check out the system, I don't want to have to go to autozone to start buying parts thanks.

So I purchased a starter here under the impression that it was a new one because they told me that, then when I tried to return it because I didn't need it anymore and never installed it so practically it was in the same condition from the day I bought it. So I was looking for a refund, they checked it and said it was a used starter and they wouldn't refund me because it had been installed by someone else but they were making it seem like I had installed it when that wasn't not the case and I told them that. I'm aware that used parts are nonrefundable but if you sold a part telling a customer that it's new then you should 100% refund the customer for your error. It's unacceptable that I was sold a used starter while telling me it was a new one for over $300

At Linden NJ store on St George avenue, young man behind the counter too lazy to assist a customer, dismisses me by saying they don't have what I am looking for, but then I find, is unacceptable. Totally rude and will not receive my business again, and I suggest others to do the same At Fanwood Nj, an auto parts store with no3/8 hose ? Thank heavens Napa, 3 blocks away, had what I needed. Head to the Zone !!!

Started my car in the morning and it was dead. Got a jump from a nice couple and they told me to drive it over to advance and I had a great experience. Girl behind the counter was nice and pleasant and keujan helped me with my battery and put it in my car for me. Explained a lot of things to me and I was thankful that it was an easy unstressful task.

Do to lack of inventory I had to go to the Springfield location...unfortunately I had to return one of the items. I went to return the item at the Linden location. As I was trying to swap for another item, the staff turned off the lights by 8:30pm. It made it a bit difficult to see any products on the shelf. Store hours say they close at 9pm. I ask the associate are you closing, he replied yes in "15 mins" That's still before closing hours. I like to go home on time just as the next person but at least wrap up 5 mins before not 30 mins before and make it seem like your closed. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Doesn t even deserve one star. Store # 5867 Worst experience I have ever had!!! As a business owner myself the level of customer service provided was beyond disgusting from the representative Sean. I walked in with my boyfriend and was requesting them to look up the make and model of my vehicle and advised them a possible name of dexron for my transmission fluid. The rep then told me CVT and sold me the wrong product. Filled my transmission with the wrong fluid and now they refuse to help correct the mistake he has made. He was yelling and carrying on telling me that he knows he made a mistake but because it s already used I couldn t get a refund for the correct fluid and proceeded to tell me that I should of bought the bottle with me and then told me to come back tomorrow to see the manager and refused to give me the name and he told me he will be here tomorrow. I am not sure if this is the manager of this business but the owner should be ashamed of himself for allowing this individual to conduct himself in this manner. This should seriously be investigated and the owner should take the appropriate measures to resolve this issue and ensure that the manager is responsible for his actions and behavior. I m sure the video surveillance will show you the level of aggression this representative had towards rectifying his mistake. I happened to notice that Sean has been previously named as an issue from customers. Remember the old saying Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice well need I say anymore?? I will be returning tomorrow to have this resolved. Update to follow.

I recently needed parts for my Acura, the staff was extremely helpful in sourcing the correct parts and went out of their way to find them as the in-stock numbers were slightly askew. Great experience and I will definitely be shopping there again...

I've personally always had good experiences with the Advance Auto chain. This store in particular, their previous manager Sid was incredibly reasonable when I needed to return an item that I no longer needed.Same goes for the Linden store on E. Edgar Road. That manager (his name escapes me) was exceptionally helpful exchanging a starter from an online order that went wrong on my behalf.It's best to NOT be a j*$k to the employees and they'll usually go out of their way to do their best.

Akilah turned a really bad situation great for me and for that I m super grateful. I bought windshield wipers last week after a long ordeal even after the employee had given me the wrong ones. Situation corrected, no problem. Today I went to the carwash and they both came off. At this point I was annoyed having to come back to get new ones. I explained everything to Akilah and she went ABOVE & BEYOND with assisting me. I couldn t have asked for a better experience and couldn t thank her enough.

I ve gone here a lot but over the last 2 years this place has gone down hill. I went in today to get lugs and asked the cashier to lookup the sizing for me to verify I had the correct fitment. The cashier told me they couldn t lookup the size and when I gave them the fitment they told me they didn t have those lugs in stock I had actually already found the lugs with that fitment in the aisle but needed them to unlock the stop lock on the rack. I told them it was fine and got my other supplies. It kept going down hill when the cashier said they couldn t find my account which appeared my my receipt . There s an large Autozone 5 minutes away on George s road, I high recommend if you need assistance to go to Autozone, their staff is a bit more knowledgeable and actually know how to use their computers to check accounts and inventory.

Store # 05867 9:45 AM September 5th I have been going to advanced auto parts for a while and this was the worst experience I ever had. The two associates tried to assist me but were unable to so they called the manager (Sean) to help. When the manager came from the back, he immediately proceeded to start yelling at me. I said to him "you haven't even heard me or let me explain the situation" he said I don't need to hear what you have to say . Rather than engage in further confrontation with this unprofessional manager(Sean) I decided to just settle on an alternate scenario. I don't expect to be spoken to like this in an establishment where I spend my money. A previous time when I came to the store with my dad one of the associates sold us the wrong AC pro and the same manager berated her in front of us for a simple mistake. I will never patronize this establishment again.The cherry on top is that the manager had the 2 associates in the back and was yelling and cursing while there was a line of customers gathering in the front of the store.

This store is horrible there prices are false advertisement. I went to purchase steering wheel fluid and the price was ?7.99 got to the register it rung up 10.99 I showed the the price and the manager stated there was a price change ok fine but the sign says 7.99. She said that s what the price is and said come back tomorrow to see the manager. She was so rude this store is the worst the staff i has ni class ratchet and GHETTO

The general manager was extremely rude and tryed to fight my father my father as for the district mangers number and the guy got aggressive he was an older guy with a gray and black beard with this act of aggression my father acted with aggression aswell should of been more of a line of respect but the general manager completely crossed it both party s were out of line but I would expect more from the general manager as he should of just walked away rather then trying to fight. looking for the district managers number they took the number off the window and gave us the wrong number that led to a message box and again also refusing us the number and any other service we needed

Like most auto parts stores, this place has incompetent employees that don't know what they are doing. An old guy that looks like it's his first time on a computer... another tall foreigner that doesn't follow up on orders and customer service. If you're lucky, the young girl will take care of your order. She looks like the only one that has a clue.

Went in with my friend (I don't own a vehicle) for a replacement bulb and some new wipers. The representative brings up the vehicle specs on the computer and gives us the wrong items, I pointed it out to him right away. It was obvious, the bulb base has to be the same, the wipers was too Service was okay but that particular person needs more training.

Check your parts when you buy them. This is my fault for not checking even though I thought something was off when I looked at the box in the store. I bought a set of spark plug wires from them for my 1999 explorer. And thinking it was ok threw out the receipt that day. When I finally went to do the job, I noticed that the plastic slips for the ignition coil were damaged. Said "ok whatever it's a sensitive part" I just finished the job despite the fact that they were dirty and looked used honestly. Here I am a week later and still having issues with my engine and looking in the dark I saw 2 wires arcing outside onto metal components. These guys had the absolute nerve to sell me used spark plug wires and smiled as they let me wall out the door when I picked them up.Totally unacceptable.

This place has good inventory but don't lose your receipt, they will refuse you service if you just walked out the door with an item lost the receipt they will not refund your money on a broken item, they won't even discuss the issue with you.... I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me ..!

This is one of the best auto parts business maybe someone else have different opinion than me, but the difference between those are if you don't know exactly what you looking for those employees can assist you in the best way possible
