If you're looking for a reliable and honest transmission service, this is the place.I went here for a transmission issue on my Jeep Renegade - I really appreciated Brian's straightforward approach and genuine honesty. He didn't push unnecessary services or try to upsell.Instead, Brian focuses on what your car needs, even if it means he might miss out on extra business. Brian was able to take me the car right away and identify the problem immediately.

I was given Brian's name by my mechanic before Christmas who knew that changing the main rear seals on my 2014 Jeep meant removing the drive train and transmission and then dropping the engine to do the work. And dropping that engine meant dropping the equivalent of several car payments to completely tear apart and rebuild a vehicle approaching 200,000 miles. This is not always a wise choice, but as I always kept up on the regular maintenance of the vehicle, I thought it would be cheaper than a new vehicle ... so what the heck.. let's roll the dice.Best move I've made on the Jeep! The original repair budget was in the $2,800 range but lets be honest, we all know that when you opening up a car that old and with that many miles, there are going to be things you discover that you couldn't see before. And since the car is already torn apart, you might as well replace those hoses that are fraying and the leaky oil pan etc. And so with the replacement of some additional seals, hoses, and a small leak in my exhaust manifold that I knew was there but could never find, the total cost was just over three grand and may I say WORTH EVERY PENNY!My Jeep sound better than the day I drove it off the lot. For the past three weeks, I feel like I'm driving a brand new car! I can't believe how well a job Brian and his crew did. So if you have major work to be done, these are the guys to do it!Thank You Brian!

My friend recommed this shop to me. My 2018 Ford Transit vans tranmission was on its way out after barely surpassing 100,000 miles which I was really disappointed at, If I can give Ford 1 star, I had other ford's and they were well past 100k miles without significant issues.I called and spoke w Brian the owner and mechanic, he told me drop it off and so he can diagnose the vehicle. I dropped it off following day and he diagnosed it very quickly and was able to give me pricing. I elected to go with the higher price in the hopes of getting the vehicle back quickly.He was able to repair it over a weekend and got my van up and running again.

This is the ONLY shop I will let touch my transmission work and customer service is next level I personally always bring a mess for them to fix that has been seen by many and never fixed or diagnosed properly but this shop will get the job done and do it right! No matter how much of a mess I ve brought they have done me very well and I will always refer anyone to them and hold them in high regard due to the quality of work and that they stand by their work! Wow, just wow. Ledgewood was my saving grace when my car stalled on me on the highway nearby. They were already closed and Brian went out of his way to diagnose my engine after hours so I can safely get home. He even drove to a separate location to pick up the part I needed. He's a fantastic mechanic and was able to diagnose and fix the car right away. I expected an upcharge since it was after hours but nope! Pricing is super reasonable. Finally a mechanic I can trust!! They've won a customer for life and I'll be driving the hour there for maintenance moving forward!I cannot thank them enough for their help that day, especially after I was denied help by 4 others in the area. An incredible experience all things considered. You're doing yourself a disservice if you're gong anywhere else for car maintenance and service. Best transmission and overall auto repair service ever!! Brought in my Lexus ES300 thinking I d have to get a new or rebuilt transmission, and would it be worth the price. Brian was meticulous in diagnosing the problem and executing the repair. Turned out it was a computer issue which kept the car from going into overdrive. He got the job done and the car runs great, all at a very fair price.If you ever need transmission work, or auto repair in general, I highly recommend Ledgewood Transmission for all your automotive needs. Brian is knowledgeable, honest and friendly, truly a man of integrity and knows how to treat his customers. He kept me in the loop and explained everything to me perfectly during the process. The quick turnaround time exceeded my expectations. I won t be taking my car anywhere else from now on.

I called Ledgewood transmission because they were recommended to me to have my Toyota rav4 transmission serviced. I called talked to Brian he gave me a price and we scheduled a drop off time. He did the service and called on time for pick up the next day. Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Brian, he was a God sent. He was to leave and pick up food for his kids but ended up staying late. I was on my way to NYC when my alternator went. He was so willing to fix my alternator and had me on the road within 1 hour. I appreciate his support and attentiveness at 7:30 at night!!! AWESOME MAN THANK YOU!!!

Top notch quality, and first class professionalism. My transmission started to go on my 2016 Silverado and needed to be rebuilt (common problem apparently).
