Knowledgeable, patient, and kind.Was growing frustrated with the dealership mechanic service, gave Knight's a shot from reading its reviews. Justin, the mechanic, was exceptional. He invited me to the garage to take a look at the brakes, and explained every repair needed upfront. In and out in just two hours, and the pricing was fair. Both the receptionist and Justin were very kind, and patient when addressing my questions and concerns.Quality service for both the vehicle and the customer. Will be returning here the next time my car needs a service!

Excellent service as always! I really appreciate the entire experience, from scheduling through to pickup. Oil change is always quick and easy. My son had a lot of work done on his car recently and he s equally satisfied. Courteous and trustworthy, two things that can be hard to find these days.

As always I received great service at Knights. I love that I can always feel comfortable that they will find and fix what is wrong and give me a check-up with no pressure. They are friendly and professional. I have been going for years when Peyton was hands on and niw with Justin the same high quality continues.I now travel from Allamuchy to bring my car in (used to live in Landing), wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Knights automotive treated my car with ZERO respect or care while in their custody. Each time I received my vehicle (over multiple transactions) from them it came with further damage. In addition to this I paid for services that were not received and then upon making them aware was told that they don t have the equipment to properly service my brand of car after previously leading me to believe otherwise. The business owner Justin is careless, two faced, and rude as when I reached out to him for a solution he simply refused to respond. Conclusively, this automotive shop is a highly unprofessional establishment that I would strongly advise against preforming any business with.

Another shop wanted to charge me 5k worth of work. Said there was a coolant leak and all these other problems. Took my car to Knights instead and they told me there was no leak at all. Fixed the real issues with my car at a fair price. Will definitely go back. Honest, fast service!

The staff at Knight s are kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. I brought my car in for some repairs and they had it ready the next day. It s been running great since. I ll definitely be going to them for work in the future.

After my brakes started grinding after a 500 mile emergency road trip I needed help fast. Knight s gave me a quote at 1:15pm and they replaced two rear rotors, got new pads and a caliper readjustment and they had my Explorer ready before 5:30. I thought it would take a day or two but they had the parts and the people who knew exactly what to do with them. They even gave me a ride home so I could get to other things. I m going to go with them from now on.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

$800 for the starter of a 20-year-old car.. The starter itself is about $200, however, they charge $352. (There is also a choice of a lower price model for $155, which they don't even bother to suggest). 2 hours labor charge $400.

Knight's is now my go-to auto service and repair shop. Top to bottom, these folks were great. They were professional, very reasonably priced, and they did a fantastic job. First time I have used Knight for my 2021 Volvo and they were excellent. They were responsive to my emergency situation (breaks) when I could not get an appt with Dealer for 7 days. I was in recently in NJ traveling for business and the brakes on my Tahoe suddenly stopped working while stopping for gas. The tow service driver was extremely helpful and dialed Knights on his cell phone as I was lost as to where to take my vehicle. Said he was familiar with them and they are good people. Although they were busy the nice young lady on the phone said they could look at it the next day. I left -got a rental car and continued working. She called me the next morning to tell me what was wrong -with the cost and said they could get the part and have it repaired that day. I picked up my car and went on my way but they called me later in the day to see how everything was working and even sent a handwritten note in the mail thanking me for the business a few days later. I sure do wish I lived closer as I would happily be a repeat customer. I highly recommend this wonderful company! So refreshing to experience this kind of service. Also-I rarely write reviews because I work in an industry where service is everything -I am in sales and customer experience and I probably have the bar set unrealistically high a pretty high. The people from this company are getting it right and I won t forget them.

I brought in my car today to be serviced for a faulty knock sensor. In less than an hour, the receptionist called me to inform me that my car is under warranty and recommended that I bring my car to the dealership to be serviced for free. Who does that??? I am beyond grateful that this business didn't take advantage of me and gave me the resources to service my car. I will definitely think of this place in the future. Interestingly enough, another local mechanic called me back and quoted me $650 to fix. Update: My car is currently at the dealership waiting to have the entire engine replaced, at no cost to me! I am beyond thankful for the staff today, and I'm looking forward to doing business with you soon. You guys saved me hundreds and headaches!!

I was unfortunate enough to run over something in the street that punctured both my front and rear tires. Luckily AAA recommended Knights Automotive in Ledgewood. I was towed there and initially was told that the tires needed to be ordered to match the other tires and it would be done the next day. However, I had a very important appointment the next day and was concerned. Although they offered me a loaner. To my surprise they were kind enough to send one of the employees to pick up the tires that day. The job was done perfectly and I drove the car home the same day. That kind of courtesy is hard to find these days and I m so appreciative for the special treatment. They are the best! MGService: Auto tire replacement

I recently got a nail in my tire and needed it addressed quickly. I heard about Knight's from a friend. I called, and they had me come right over to check it and take care of it. I'm glad I went there as I've been looking for a good private mechanic that I can trust for awhile. I feel confident in using them in the future.

Knights is always responsive, effective and efficient. This past sunday while driving home my engine coolant light came on and it was clear I had a leak. I left a message for them and left my car at the shop, asking if they could take a look. They called me Monday morning to let me know the issue and I had the car back Monday night. I have used them for a number of years and cars and they have always been fair and honest. I highly recommend them!Service: Auto water leak repair

I have been using Knights Auto since I moved here 6 years ago. They are one of a kind, service like no other. They are very accommodating, I have had to drop my car off for several hours and they will drive me back home and pick me back up at home when my car is finished. They are trustworthy and not just trying to make a buck, like so many auto places these days. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of service done to their car. I tell everyone about them, bc everyone deserves to have peace of mind when they leave their car to be worked on!

I brought my car in for an oil change thinking it would be better than the dealership. They recommended a bunch of services I didn t need ($2,500 of services for a car worth $7,000; I confirmed with another garage that they were unnecessary). They also tried to trick me into thinking I had scheduled an appointment with them with a text sent from an automated system (those systems where they proactively set up an appointment with you and then phrase the messages carefully to try to make it sound like you set up the appointment while asking you to confirm). I ll be returning to the dealership.

Excellent service! Everyone is pleasant to deal with, they drove me home and picked me up when the car was ready. Repairs were done correctly. After having not so great experiences in the past, I found Knight s Automotive and they really came through. Repaired my car in a few days and communicated everything clearly. Gave me great service at a fair price. Knights Auto is the best ! I myself am a retired auto tech , unable to do the required maintenance and repairs on my vehicles. I looked for a trustworthy place and found it several years ago . I trust them totally with what they tell me and the quality of the work too . Again , Knights Auto is the best !

I had an emergency service required when my radiator went while on the road. I happened to be 1 mile away from Knights Automotive and called for service. They were able to immediately take me in. From the moment I walked in I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. My radiator was repaired same day, along with some other issues I was having with my truck. Bottom line is I am extremely happy with the service and my truck has not run this well in past 6 years. I had never used Knight's and was looking for a reliable, honest mechanic service. I would highly recommend this service if you want quality, reliability, honesty, and professionalism.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Knights did a great job. Had my car towed to their shop. They were able to diagnose the issue (failed starter) and source the part and install it the same day. Prices were reasonable.

Fantastic service at reasonable prices, I have been bringing my vehicles to Knight's for the last few years and have been impressed with their high quality and professional service. I feel they are extremely honest and will not try to sell you things you don't need just to make an extra buck. I recently had my Volvo in for a check engine light repair so I could pass inspection. The Knight's Automotive team is awesome!!!My family and I have been loyal customers for over 15 years. They have fair prices and have done excellent work on our family s cars (BMW, Lexus, Honda, etc) including assisting my kids with the purchase their own vehicles. They consistently provide detailed explanations of the each repair and have earned our deep trust by their strong ethics and integrity. There have been times where they have suggested more economical solutions. I continually recommend them to our friends and family.Example: Once Knight s had recommended a shop for repairing the transmission on our Honda van. Later there was an issue after the warranty period had expired . Peyton personally called the other shop owner and they performed the repairs for free. This is why we have such great confidence and trust in Knight s!!!

I have used Knights Automotive numerous times over the past 2 decades. Most recently my a/c quit just going into the hottest weeks of the summer. They took me right in and recharged it with a dye to try to locate the leak. They Could not locate the leak after running it a while and was overbooked with repairs so I took it home. The next day returned and they found the leak in a difficult spot. The owner actually drove me home which was really appreciated. The work performed was exceptional. And very fairly priced. Rita in the office is a pleasure to work with and the owner and his mechanics are all great folks that really know their trade. Will continue using Knights for all my automotive needs and love the charity work they do providing a rebuilt car to a needy family/ person every year. A worthwhile charity to donate to.
