I needed to get my brakes replaced and saw all the recommendations on our town facebook site praising Black River Automotive, so we gave them a try. They were awesome and definitely worthy of all the praise!! They got us in quickly, evaluated what was needed, gave us a fair price and did the work needed within hours of dropping it off. All this just days before Christmas!! I highly recommend them and am so glad we gave them a try!!

I was referred to Kyle by a friend of mine who knows his cars and has had plenty over the years that require high level maintenance. After poor experience with the BMW dealer (not to mention high cost) and a car with almost every dash light on, I brought my 2011 E92 BMW M3 to Kyle for his expertise. What I got in return was cost-effective high quality service with a professional mechanic who actually took the time to walk me through step-by-step what was being done in a way that was reassuring and didn't feel like you were being taken for a ride - The ride I did take was in the car afterwards, as it drove better than it had in years. I will continue to drive the extra 35 min to take my vehicles to Kyle, despite there being a BMW "Specialist" right across the street and a BMW dealer in my town, however, this will not be in the near future due to Kyle's high quality service.

I was very impressed with the honesty of them. I will definitely continue using this place. I highly recommend them. The problem was a recall and they let me know. But I let them do the work. Some places would of never said a word.

I was looking around the area for a garage that specializes in exhaust. And I definitely found the right shop for the job. The owner Kyle was super knowledgeable and very professional. I couldn t recommend this shop more. I would rather take my new vehicle here rather than the dealer for the simple fact that this staff is very thorough , and you aren t just a number there. Can t wait to go back and get more work done.Service: Exhaust

Kyle is the only person I trust with my car. They are very professional and timely. They are also honest and cost effective. I can go on and on about this place, but the point is if you are looking for a mechanic - Black River Automotive is THE place.

Can't say enough good things about Kyle and Jess. Honest and fair, and Kyle is the car whisperer when it comes to diagnosing issues. So glad I was introduced to their shop.

Kyle was recommended by a close friend and from the first phone call, he has been nothing short of fantastic. He can diagnose mechanical issues almost by just your description alone, in some cases show you the problem, and then offer repair options along with his professional recommendation as to what it will cost you now vs what it will cost you down the road. I brought one car in and was so impressed, I brought a second car the very next day for a very involved job that he nailed in a day. He is a friendly, decent guy and a valuable member of our community.

Kyle, the owner of Black River Auto is absolutely the ONLY mechanic that I would ever trust with my cars. When I brought my Volvo XC 70 in to him for a problem with (I don't know what else to call it except it constantly felt like I was going to stall out) the RPMs and a jerky kind of feeling with it, I was so apprehensive. My son had seen reviews for Kyle and they were all amazing, so he brought his pride and joy in to him, his Mustang GT California Special (one of 250). Kyle did an amazing job and did not rob him blind on parts and labor. Being than my son, who is a Ford Certified Technician himself, raved about Kyle, I figured I would try him. He was AMAZING. When the problem with my Volvo was not straightforward, Kyle took his time until he was able to figure out the problem, He did not stop looking and he also did not tell me as he looked that "this, that, and the other needed to be replaced" as I have experienced before. Many mechanics, in my experience, would have tried making a few extra $$ but Kyle is not that way. This is the reason that I will trust no one else with my vehicles! Try him and you'll see..... Kyle is so great! He explains all his work thoroughly and is up front and honest with the cost and what to expect, so I was not blindsided with by the price of my repairs. I appreciate the communication by him and his team. My car is running great!

Kyle has done stupendous work on all my cars, my families and friends. Not only is his work reliable, there's never an extra charge for things that aren't needed like many mechanics. I highly recommend anyone to bring their cars here, even if the drive is a little extra it's worth it .

Kyle and his team were on the money I wanted someone trust worthy and treat my car as I would and Kyle did all that , my car went into shop in need of more power and wanted something to make my 2003 mercury marauder sound and run good. Well when he got done with it I was ready for the fun it sounded like something screaming down a 1/4mile race track it sounded better than I expected and ran even better it was plain sick off the hook crazy good. A good mechanic is hard to find especially one that works with your needs I'm a very picky person when it comes to my car a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor or hairdresser you dont want to lose them , so I know I shouldnt say this cause I wanted black river auto to be my secret and not share my new mechanic with anyone( lol ) but wouldnt be fair to kyle do your self a favor stop getting beat by so called mechanics and go to a reliable honest guy like kyle at black river auto and feel confident when leaving your vehicle for repairs. I took my truck here with a complicated repair. Kyle fixed everything and kept me informed throughout the process. It's so hard to find an honest mechanic that knows what he's doing. I would recommend Kyle at Black River to anyone!

Kyle, the owner, is honest, trustworthy and does Hugh quality work. Had them put on a Borla Atak on my 2019 Ram 1500. The two guys were not only extremely friendly and helpful, but extremely professional and timely. Excellent craftsman ship! All around 100/10. Will definitely be going back for all automotive needs!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust
