Unprofessional experience. Brought in my VW for service. Made appointment week in advance and they knew make and year of car. Quoted $80 for service. When I showed up to pick up car bill was $230. They seemed surprised when I questioned the bill. They did things I didn t ask for nor did they get permission. They claim that the oil my car needs was more than they anticipated. They charged $120 just for oil the Volkswagen dealership charges $50 for. I would highly recommend getting every thing in writing from them before they perform the service. It s unfortunate because was looking for an alternative to getting my car serviced at the dealer. As far as the work goes I m guessing it s OK. But I won t be going back. I found their attitude to be unprofessional and unapologetic for trying to charge three times what they initially quoted.

Great service! We had several cars from our business that had odd problems. Amwell did a great job at diagnosing and repairing in both cases. They completed research, explored all options and designed one solution that saved money for us. I was impressed with their professionalism. Will definitely take our personal vehicles there.

I would give Amwell Automotive 10 Stars if I could!!They were spot on with everything! I had to reclaim my Shelby Cobra after 10 Months with one of their competitors and gave them the mess their competitor created.Amwell Auto researched every part with their vast knowledge and extensive network to get my vintage car back together.Since I have gotten the car back it now runs AMAZING and is LIKE NEW!!I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amwell Auto!Thanks so much again to everyone there!!Joe G.Services: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Transmission repair

The team is very courteous and welcoming. Our car and truck have both been here. The work is done timely with excellent explanation as to what was done. Received a phone call before any major work was done. Local ride home was awesome! Pat was as honest a person as I ve ever run into and gave me a breakdown on what needed to be fixed immediately and what needed to be fixed in the future for regular maintenance. My car has never run better since it was brand new.Services: Electrical, BrakesServices: Electrical, Brakes

I got my car fully serviced at Autolenders in Egg Harbor Twp. I spend $1,300. They charged me for a transmission fluid change and never even changed it. A month last my transmission started going. Amwell Automotive showed me that my transmission fluid was black. And that I had been deceived. They are entrusted by law enforcement in the surrounding area and I m so glad I went with them. Their prices were fair, honest, and now my transmission runs beautifully. Between Angel, the owner of Chris Auto Body, and West Amwell Automotive I would not trust any other autobody shop. I m very pleased that they were able to fix my vehicle at a good price. I would refer this business to anybody looking for honesty, fairness and integrity.Service: Transmission

A very professional honest and competent shop. Rates are reasonable. They always provide detailed information. Not a bit pushy. With a college major in power mechanics I know a little about vehicles. At 74 I don t feel like getting under a car myself, and many systems have changed since my education, but I feel I have a solid foundation which gives me confidence in my assessment.

I just went to Amwell Automotive for the first time last week for my used Land Rover and was blown away by the service. I had a squeaky break and brought it in for the full diagnostic. Not only did they know exactly what the issue was and how to fix it, they provided me with a full report including pictures and a rating scale of other aspects of the vehicle. The service is exceptional, they even picked me up and dropped me off while my car was being worked on! I will definitely be back.

I have relied on Amwell Automotive for over 15 years. They are honest and reliable. I tend to keep my car until about 125K miles. Amwell is very helpful with deciding on whether or not the car is worth continued repairs.

I took my Honda Accord here for service because it was having transmission and battery issues. The guys at Amwell Automotive did a thorough job and my car was ready the same day that I dropped it off. I'll definitely be bringing my car back here in the future.

Not only is every staff member cheerful and friendly on a monday morning at 8am, butI brought my car in to have some rusty sway bar brackets removed and I was experiencing a clunking sound in my rear after lowering my car. Ive always dealt directly with Kevin and not only is every staff member cheerful and friendly on a monday morning at 8am, but to do these repairs, Kevin squeezed me in on their very tight schedules and he diddnt even charge me!Ive brought my car over a few times for various reasons from alignment to diagnosing a very illusive check engine light. Kevin has always taken the time to call me with updates. Amwell has never charged an arm and a leg knowing Im on a budget. Id recommend this place to everyone. 11/10 stars!

My car broke down and I could not figure it out,so I called a mechanic to come and take a look at the car and see what needed to be done. He told me the engine was shot but would give me $500 and tow it away for free. I declined and went to West Amwell for a second opinion. The owner reviewed (verbally) my problem and said he could arrange a tow and look at the car,though a 50 mile tow would be costly.Then he suggested I try several things,which I did and the car fired right up!!!! These guys are not only great mechanics,but as honest as they come!

I have been taking my cars to Amwell Auto for 25 years and have always gotton great service. I feel that I can trust them and have never had any problems, I would definitely recommend them.

I had to drop my car off for an alternator etc. Even though they were busy I got my car back, all fixed , with a thorough inspection and explanation by the end of the week.
