I would like to start off by saying the owner and his family displayed class and patience to the best extent. This review is based on the malpractice that was discovered from the mechanics employed here after multiple inspections and a private investigation. With that being said, I was recently sold a 2007 Mustang. The first problem was allowing a customer to test drive a vehicle, knowing there were parts on order for said vehicle. That is extremely dangerous considering the parts included the rear axle. This shows there is lack of communication between employees and employer. One week after purchasing the Mustang, the left ball bearing snapped. The mechanic that fixed the ball bearing found there was a minor fuel leak as well. This is where I hired a second mechanic to inspect the vehicle. The inspection determined that there was a major fuel leak in the gas tank, and this leak was attempted to be "welded and covered up" in an attempt to save the vehicle for the sale. I truly believe that there are good employers that just happen to hire dishonest employees. In the end, I paid thousands of dollars for repairs due to the negligence and dishonesty of the mechanics employed at Keyport Auto Sales. Money wasn't the issue. My overall safety while driving is. And this dealership put a customer's life in danger. Do better.P.S. All of these problems could only be found if the vehicle was on a hydraulic jack.Sincerely,Kenny FuentesU.S.M.C Veteran

What a great experience! Would leave 6 stars if we could. Bought a car for my son going to college. Ed took his time and was honest about every car on his lot. We bought a 10 Chevy Impala and it s been great. Only a couple minor issues like needing jump start the day we came for test drive. No problem, new battery was installed. We were even able to purchase an extended warranty. Super nice people with honest family run business A+.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Keyport Auto Sales in Keyport NJ. I could rave about the fair pricing and excellent work, but the people that work there set this place apart from the rest. Cars are not my area of expertise so I always worry if I m getting the best advice or a fair price . The owner Eddie takes the time to help you understand the issue, discuss your options, and discuss the cost. When I first moved to the area I had car issues and the owner helped me and a few years later this is still the only place only I trust with my car issues. If he can t do it personally he will have his worker take care of it for me. All I had to do was bring my car in and it was handled. Amazing customer service, amazing owner/staff, and amazing workmanship.

It is Friday at 5 o clock on Labor Day weekend. I bought a 2012 Ford Edge from Ed. I purchased it for 2000 $ below Bluebook because it was what he labeled a "DENT special". I was willing to concede on the minor body damage in exchange for all the other options and typical Ford pragmatics. In short I was happy. However there were some minor issues he had to fix , the seat motor had to be replaced , it didn't move and the door ajar light and signal wouldn't shut off. I found out this is an issue on these years. NOW he is making sure after all papers were signed to fix it before we leave for the weekend. Point is he has gone above and beyond. He and his employee im sure want to go but he is making good on his, and for that I give 4 and a half stars. The half for the obvious fact that the problems weren't rectified prior to being for sale. He is tho and thats admirable. He is friendly and down to earth and as my anecdote explains cares for his customers.THANK YOU EDDIE AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

UPDATE - since I can't reply to your comment, I am responding to you in my original post. In response to what you said below, I was with my husband when he spoke to you and that is not the understanding of the conversation so we already had the car repaired but if you are willing to make good on your offer to repair I can submit the cost of the repairs to you. I am also a parent and this car was bought for my 17 year who just started driving and there is no way I would jeopardize his safety so you can understand why we had the car fixed immediately.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a car from Keyport Auto Sales. They sold me a car with black tape over the check engine light!I purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu from them that did not pass inspection due to the check engine bulb check fail and emissions. The owner was contacted the day of inspection and my husband was told to bring the car to him to look at. Conveniently, he was not there when my husband got there. We took it to another mechanic to get looked at and we were told the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. My husband contacted them again about the issue and he basically told him that we know their address, send them the court papers. The black tape was covering both the check engine light as well as the tire light ..do not do business with them! I will be following up with the NJ Department of Consumer affairs and will be sending them those court papers!

Your team is incredible. There is no one I would rather do business with!Me and my fianc� needed a family car after I couldn't fix our minivan anymore. We saw this beautiful 2013 Hyundai Elantra for sale in their lot on Sunday while they were closed. I was able to essentially buy the car over the phone, just having my fianc� test drive during the day while I was at work. I work a lot of hours out I Manhattan and not only was Shannon and Katie understanding enough to be able to take care of most of this over the phone, but Shannon even stayed late to take care of the paperwork with me.This was the best dealer experience of my life. I can't recommend these guys enough. Beautiful car and perfect service. Thank you!

I recently bought a 2006 Volvo XC90. I was there looking at different vehicles altogether. Shannon and her husband were extremely friendly, and helped me determine the best car for my needs. There was a service light on for the vehicle. They took care of the issue (which wouldnt have failed inspection, so they didnt really need to do it to sell me the car; but they fixed it anyway). I drive it to and from NY and couldn't be happier with the car or my experience with them. If i need a used car again in the future, they will be my first stop.

This place is so awesome to deal with and the owner Eddie was so helpful and easy to deal with, I was looking for a mini van or suv to use for work vehicle and Eddie and his car lot had a 2003 Ford Expedition for me at a great price. The vehicle is a awesome car that runs amazing they made sure that the car was mechanical sound and safe before he would sell it to me. The car was very affordable and cheaper then what we told him we were looking to spend and he did not try to push us to a more experience car or push us to top of our budget. Eddie made my entire experience very smooth and easy. I made appointment with him and Eddie was very prompt to help me and my girlfriend when we got there and explained everything and was very helpful with all of our needs.I difinitly recommend Eddie and his dealershipKeyport Auto Sales to anyone looking to purchase a car, van, suv or truck.

I bought a 08 hyundai Elantra from them about a month ago. The price was fair and the people are very sweet and caring. They changed the oil for me and fixed the a.c in the car for FREE. Just to make sure everything was fine with the car for me. The woman there is very passionate about helping others and I bonded with her. I would definitely recommend going here, I actually have steered two of my friends to go there for their cars. As any dealership though, know what your talking about before going to get a car. If you point out the problem these people will make it right for you before you leave the lot. But if you dont point it out obviously they arent going to offer to fix it. That's just how this works people, you would do the same opening your own business. I loved my experience here, I love that is a family owned business as well. Thank you guys so very much! I will definitely be in contact!

Arrived this morning with (what would turn out to be) a 3 inch long piece of metal in my tire, they took me without hesitation, plugged the tire and sent me on my way. Such a nice bunch of people. 100% turned my Monday around! Thank you so much!! Definitely recommend

Please read. He sold me a Nissan Murano. I asked him if the car had any issues, what it needed etc. He TOTALLY mislead me! TOTALLY!! He knew that I didn t know much about cars. He literally lied to my face. I know I should ve known better, but because he seemed like a guy I could trust and was nice, I trusted him. About 8 days after I got the car and was driving it on the road, it suddenly stopped. I called him and told him that there is something wrong with it. His demeanor changed drastically. He told me Well you were able to look at the car and brought it to the guy around the corner . Backtracking before I bought it I wanted my mechanic to take a look at it, instead he suggested me to bring it to this mechanic around the corner (as he didn t want me to take the car to my mechanic because it was too far for him to allow it to me). Again, I trusted him and brought it to that guy around the corner. I don t want to assume that they work together but they know each other very well.. Anyway I told him on the phone that I want to bring the car to him so he can please check it and let me know what is wrong, as it literally has been 8 days. When I arrived, he wasn t there his employee was there. He told me that it might be the camshift sensor or alternator. I wanted to make sure and told him to please let his boss confirm with me what it is, since I still trusted him.. He confirmed and told me that it was just the camshift sensor! I freaking paid him for fixing it and gave them extra tip. NEVER did he mention the alternator! I can promise you guys that he knew it was the alternator. I would advise you to not buy from him! Even if you know about cars and you know what you re buying. Just do not support a liar, who takes advantage of people and mislead them. I had to trash the car after 3 months...Again! He is a piece of nothing. Please do not buy from him and support that kind of wrongful human.

I have purchased cars from here since they open, the service is great and the owner and his finance are the best.I have been very happy with all my purchase because they do there best to satisfy you..You just have to understand with any use car dealer you get what you pay for.I just think this use car dealer is very fair with there customers.I am very satisfied.

Called to see if a particular vehicle was still available. They said it was. I drove up there to see it when I asked to drive it was told I couldn't because brake line was ruptured and needed replacing. Would have been nice they told me this before I made a 35 mile trip 1 way.

Went to this dealership the other day the salesman acted like he didn t wanna be bothered asked if I could start a car and he said it needed a battery so I said you don t have a battery jumper cable he said not right now You know I left got a bad feeling about this place
