I was driving home from work during rush hour in the heavy rain until I heard scraping under my car. I had to pull over and I noticed some metal being bent scraping the floor. All nearby locations were closing except for this one. They told me I can come in and they were ready for me.I m already thinking it s going to be a little pricey to repair whatever was broken and maybe something else might have been damaged but I was all done by the time I knew it and I got my keys and paid only $30 to have this fixed! I was beyond grateful and they were so honest about it. Other places could have easily fake a price I m sure it happens!If you like honest affordable mechanics no matter how big or small. I know these guys will take care of you.Even the waiting room and lounge was clean and presentable. So lucky I got to find this place and be on my wayThank you

There are very few times I have ever had a positive experience with a mechanic and Salomon takes the cake. He was honest and transparent about the mechanical issues with my car, while also having very fair prices. I will absolutely go back to Salomon Auto Repairs in the future. I will also be recommending them to everyone who is in search of a good honest mechanic.

I experienced a mechanical issue and I stop by Salomon to get there professional advice l was greeted by the owner Mr.Salomon, he immediately checked my concern on the diagnostic computer and advised me as to what l should do, including to have the dealer check the recall of the vehicle. L felt so grateful for his honesty and willingness to help me that after a few words with the owner right then and there l asked him if he would do a complete tune up he immediately accepted my vehicle, he provided me with an approximate time to deliver my vehicle by 5:00PM same day and to my surprise he called me at 4:00PM.I am so very very happy that I stopped by Salomon Auto Repair LLC that recommend him for any of your mechanical needs without a question they did an excellentJob and yes they have earned my business, and l trust there professionalism you do not have too many car shops that you can trust these days!!!Salomon thank YOU!!!

Saloman and his staff are incredibly kind, they not only do excellent work, but are fair and reliable. I have used them for years for everything from basic oil changes to basic maintenance on our vehicles. They are truly one of the best mechanics, I highly recommend them.

Honest and good workshop. Went here for a friend's 2014 mustang AC issue. The problem was diagnosed and fixed for just $45. The owner seemed genuine and honest. Highly recommended.

I needed brakes and rotors changed. I called a few places, they all gave very vague responses as far as the cost and time frame for repair. I called Salomon and received an instant quote for labor and parts and same day repair offer. I dropped off my car at 12 picked up at 3. They are accomodating, and polite, and not too expensive. But then there's the inaccurate diagnostics that caused me unnecessary repairs, and the unfinished jobs I had to finish myself.

They quoted new front shocks and bushings at $1100. Turned out it was a loose sway bar link making a noise from under the car costing me only$30. I was surprised after all these good reviews here!

Great service, very reliable, they explain what they will do, and if they find something unexpected they will let you know. I known them for the past 10 years. They are so reliable my family and I always come to them. The kind of cars my family and I have are: Toyota Corolla LE, Subaru Outback, Dodge Caravan, and Nissan. I recently went on a road trip to go visit my family in New Jersey, and I guess my car couldn t handle the long trip. I went here to get it fixed up and everyone was really nice and they were able to find the problem quickly. It was a very nice environment and the service was really good, 10/10 would recommend!

Mr. Salomon took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and even showed me how they are fixing it. So, the customer service was amazing. In addition, the cost to fix my car was reasonable. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. Plus, it felt great to support a local business.

My Acura was running very bad, went to this shop and told me a full tune up was needed, service was very professional and price was just right! My car was done same day. I have a 2007 Subaru as personal car and a 2003 ford pick up for business and have always relied on Salomon for over 6 years to do all kinds of services on both of my cars. They are fair, knowledgeable and honest and have never let me down. I highly recommend them.

I was a bit skeptical at first because of the reviews, however during the pandemic, I didn't really have much choice.On Saturday April 11, 2020, my car started making a lot of noise on the rear driver tire as I drove. I called up a few shops and Salomon was the only one open. (or at least picked up my call). I wanted a shop that was within 1 mile of my house as the usual shop I go to is at least 3 miles away from where I live, in Newark. He charged me a really reasonable price to change 4 rotors, 4 break pads and a break bearing. Not only that a grinding issue with my muffler disappeared as well. We never discussed that issue, so I am presuming Salomon noticed and fixed that issue as he was working on my car. I mentioned the muffler issue to my previous mechanic multiple times and it was never fixed. I brought the car around 2pm on April 11, 2020 and received my car back on 1PM on April 13, 2020.I have to say I am pleased with the service and would go again.

I can't stay away from this place. I used to live across the street, but since I moved to anothre town, I needed to visit my trusted mechanic when my car needed a new harmonic balancer. I had the parts, but needed someone who could install them ASAP. I went in for an estimate, and they had the car running great the same afternoon. It is worth traveling the extra distance for their prompt reliable and friendly service.

Becareful with this guy pay him to fix my water pump and after 3 days my car engine belt broke,he told me that i need a new engine ,it was and old car 92 volvo but still work it never gave me a problem with nothing it was just the antifrezee wont hold it ,i sold him my car so he can junk my car and i thougntbi qas doing the righ thing becuase the ingine will cost more tha the car862,after a while i made i huge mistake to recommend my dad that had a radiator problem he changed and left the tesmostar loose and told him the same thing that the he need new engine ,he went to a different honest mechanic and fix the problem and the car still work after about 2 years ago maybe if i took my car to another mechanic i still had my car now

I have an RX8 and just wanted to get my spark plugs replaced. I had the plugs and all I just didn't have the proper tools. Walked in and got told they don't work on rotaries... It's a spark plug job not like I'm getting and engine replacement.

Heard a noise on the bottom of my car so I took it in. He said it would be $1200 cause it needed a new transmission. Took it to another place and all it had wrong was a screw that had broken off on the bottom cover that was making the noise. Saved myself $1200
