If you own a premium car, do NOT take your car here! Scott and his son, Scott, have been siphoning money from insurance companies for many years without performing the work specified in the paperwork. I hope the insurance companies read this review and become discerning and cautious about this body shop. My father had used this shop for his Toyota Camry and Progressive insurance said they were reputable. Nothing could be further from the truth with my vehicle. I have a BMW X6M which had the passenger front fender damaged along with damage to the tire and some curb rash. When talking to Scott, I asked if I could arrange to pay separately to have my rear rim also powder coated and fix a chip on the driver s side rear wheel fender. He quoted me $185 for the wheel repair and $120 for the paint chip repair for a total of $305. Well not only did my wheel come back WORSE than the pre-repair condition with many scratches but he charged me more than what he quoted; $416.69. See attached pictures. To make matters worse, he denied the apparent vandalism that took place while he parked my vehicle on his lot. As soon as I started driving home, I noticed my driver s side electronic mirror was dislodged and out of place. Because it was already dark out, I drove my car to Paramus where I parked right by the street light and I noticed a big long scratch along the rear fender to the trunk area. The next day, under full daylight, I did a proper inspection of my vehicle. Two of my tires were punctured, one with a nail and one with a self-tapping screw. Then I noticed two very small black dots on my passenger seat and another scratch on the driver s side rear door. When I called and texted Scott about this, he completely denied this happened under his watch. I later found out from my friend Eddie, his mom had a similar issue with Scott.Scott is only interested in making as much money from every customer by exaggerating the work he performs and not following the repair sheet. He s also not afraid to keep asking the insurance companies for a supplement. According to Scott, my car needed two additional supplements besides the original work specified. My car actually sat on his lot for TWO WEEKS before any body/paint work was ever performed. It turned out they didn t start any work until the insurance company check was received by them. He sent my rims away to a third party which came back poorly finished. The entire inside of the rims were badly scraped and chipped, like curb rash. The face of the rear rim has multiple scratches on it now that are very visible to the naked eye. Scott was supposed to remove the paint protection film (PPF) and blend the paint between the hood and the bumper. He did NONE of this but he certainly got paid. See all my pictures and video attached. This place is dishonest, unethical and cunning. Even when I asked him to provide the contact and details of who performed the tire replacement, rim repair and alignment, he denied it. I found out he never even did the alignment of my car. Do yourself a favor and go to Star Auto Body (Kearny) or Parkway Auto body (Nutley) I can vouch for the quality of their work and better business practices. At least your vehicle will remain garaged or indoors and properly repaired and cared for. You ve been warned!

This morning i took mine and my friends car for some accident issue and they are so amazing Young Scott and Old Scott , there are two amazing guy with the same name. We did not fix the vehicles yet but they are pretty helpful. Im not an american and i do not know the rules process how everything works. They explained us everything one by one and told us how to do what is best what is not. We are waiting for claim than willing to come and get our vehicles fixed. These are amazing honest and hardworking people. I hope God give them more business health and happiness

Scott is a very pleasant gentleman, Junior is such a cool young man and the job done was more than amazing, I asked Scott how he was going to fix the damaged parts and he answered to me "Don't worry, once we done with it, your car will be the same or better than when it came out from factory" and sure it is, I couldn't believe it when I saw it!My daughter asked me if they exchanged my car for a new one cause it didn't look like it was fix, it looks more like it was sent to the manufacturer and swapped for a brand new one.... incredibly amazing job, thanks so so so much Scott, Junior and the whole team of Kearny Collision!!!You guys deserve a 10 stars instead of 5!!! Kearny collision is the best hands down! I brought my car there to replace my side view mirror that was knocked off and some scuffs from the idiot that swung open his door when I was driving home from work. Scott and his team went far and beyond my expectations! I dropped the car off to Scott on weds I recieved a call from Scott the following day letting me know that my car is ready for pick up. After an awful experience with another local body repair shop this time around after getting into an accident I knew it was time to find a new place. I searched on google and I read the reviews and decided I would give Kearny Auto Collision a try. I don't regret the decision at all. They were very professional. The car part I needed for my repair was out of stock and the owner would call me every single week to give me an update. After weeks of the back and forth the part finally came in and I was told when to drop off my car and when I could go back for it. When I picked it up my car looked brand new, it was sparkling on the inside and most importantly on the outside. I was so happy with the way my car came out I would highly recommend that anyone with body repair needs take their vehicle there.I hope not to get into any future accidents but if it does occur I will definitely take my car back to this place.Service: Body & Trim

Brought my vehicle in for rear-ended damage repair. The reviews here speak for itself. Scott was great to deal with, very nice and professional. The paint of my car (2019 model with flakes) is difficult to color match but they got it done. Vehicle was in-and-out within 3 days. Thanks again to the Kearny Collision crew!

This is one of the best auto repair places in kearny, my hyundai sonata got flooded i took it there and i spoke to Scott he was super attentive and friendly, explained what could happen to my car and what i could do to neutralize the smell, he told me to bring it back if any problems pop up. he didn't even charge me. I'm definitely coming back here anytime i need to check my car again, totally recommended.

It is always unpleasant to have your car in for a car crash repair, none the less Kearny Collision is excellent. The service is fantastic, the execution is great. Scott is friendly and he strikes me as an honest person. I will always take my car here. I have recommended it to plenty of my family and friends and all of them have been pleased with this shop.

Brought my car in for a dent repair. Price was fair and service is excellent. Got my car back 3 days later, as promised, looking brand new (with an unexpected car wash!). Very happy with Kearny Collision's work. Ask for Scott. Super friendly guy.

Scott fixed my rear-ended Suburban LTZ with skill and grace. Not only did it get done 1 day early, but the truck came back looking better than new (at least the rear end did!). Since nobody wants to experience a fender-bender, it's nice to have the outcome be pleasant. Nice work Kearny Collision!!

My Jeep Grand Cherokee was brought to showroom quality by Scott and his crew. Koodos for a job well done!!! They are professional and I would recommend Kearny Collision to my friends and family. 5 stars for this crew. Scott is so very friendly and professional. Glad he wad recommended!

Scott was very help full since the first time i called and they took my mazda 6 the very first day i called. they did an excellent job with the repairs and a wonder full paint job they even polish the hood and give me a touch up paint. great service and great customer service i highly recommended.

After a deer ran in front of my car and for the first time ever having to call my insurance company lol not gunna lie I was a little nervous! I never had to fix the body of my car before and had no idea where to go, so I stuck close to home. Scott is the nicest, hard working man. His team returned my car in beautiful, impeccable condition and they worked with my crazy time budget, having my car done in such a short window. I took my truck to Kearny Collision a little over a year ago and waited until now to post the review because I wanted to see how well their work held up. My Chevy 2500 HD was rear-ended while parked and suffered considerable damage to the rear end and the bed shifted on the frame. There was also minor damage to the back of the cab.Kearny Collision did a fine job of re-aligning the bed. Replacing the rear door, lamps, and the paint job that they performed can not be detected from the original paint job.After a year plus of plowing, towing, hauling, and forty thousand miles later, their work has been amazing. None of the areas that they worked on have failed. Their work has helped up despite the amount of abuse the truck has undergone since it left their facility.I have used other shops in the past where after 6 to 12 months you can easily see where body work has taken place. Not so with Kearny Collision.Their staff was a pleasure to deal with as well. Very knowledgeable and professional.Kearny Collision is a five star auto body shop.

The auto body place the whole family went to for years and years closed.Since Bill's place closed down, various family members experienced damage to our cars, and went to a lot of places in the area, but there just was no allegiance formed. In truth, none of us thought we'd find a new "go to guy."My son recently had need of a repair (he hit debris on the road during a recent heavy rainfall when driving through a flooded roadway). His cousin recommended Kearny Collision.Reasonable, GREAT WORK and minimal time in the shop.We have our very own "go to guy" again.

Awful experience after make the payment, they take too long to fix your car. I had to call them many times to asked about my car, even I had to call the police and now I have to go to the court because they didn't complete their job.

I had to get my front license plate fixed for a car with no license plate groove, which my dealer did not do. They did it very quickly and free of charge. Very helpful and good people.
