This shop is not trustworthy. Careful before paying them. Please try to pay exact payment. If you give them bill they will not give you change back. I have given 100 bill for my inspection they did not give me change back. Definitely I will not recommend this place.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

Nirala is the best (great sweet place) but this nirala auto place is pehn da phudda. His service was so so, he charged more and didn't do a good job. He says $50 for tune up and oil change. But his sister that he provided was maa ki kuss fantastic and cheap. Bund maar di uski. Thanks. Total fun and tune up cost with his sister was worth it. And yea don't ever use this penchod madar chod unless he supplies the home made rundee from his house fresh lubed material. By the way the owner is awal number ka beigrut asking me to lube his sister on Weekly basis and putting my muffler in her gaand. Hutt gandoo. Never going back. I am just going to meet his rundees outside somewhere and this is not a fake review.In response to your reply: I am going to change your sister's oil tonight again sohail.. ;) teri pehn da fuddddaaa paar dena mei ajj niralaya..

cheater!!! He is money shark and greedy. Just stay away. very bad experience. For the inspection he told me pass or fail it will be $60 and if pass then $5 for the sticker. After completing the inspection when I gave him $100 and asked for change then he denied and told me it s $100 you pass and no change.I would not recommend this shop. They are really greedy. I never experienced this type of cheating in USA. Please think twice or thrice before coming here.

They put the wrong spark plugs in and lied about what they did. I sued them in Jersey City court and got half my money back.

Went for a state inspection and they answered the phone right away, told us to come in. The inspection was quick and service was friendly. Can't remember his name (JC?) Was kind and helpful.Thanks!

I would definitely recommend for an inspection. I went on a Saturday morning and 10 minutes and $65 later I was on my way, just as they had told me over the phone. Friendly and good service.

It s worth to note, this shop is one of the oldest body shops in Jersey City, yet still able handle all nuisances related to car repairs along with their ability to get you back on the road in no time. Amazing experience, amazing folks and amazing service!

Beware, Nirala Auto does dangerous work and are thieves!!! They are the worst mechanics in Hudson County.My girlfriend was helping me to replace a flat tire on my car and took it to Nirala Auto. After they put on a replacement tire she drove the car home and noticed the tire Nirala Auto put on was a substantially different size than the other tires. It was 3 inches smaller in diameter and 1 inch smaller in width.I immediately drove the car back to Nirala and asked them to take the tire off, put the spare back on and give me my money back. The mechanics acted like they never saw this car before even though they had just changed the tire 30 minutes before. The older mechanic said he would have to charge me $20.00 to take off the tire and would not do any "free work".After arguing with them that they put the wrong part on my car and this could've rolled off my rim and caused a deadly accident had I taken it on the highway, a younger mechanic came out. It seemed he was going to resolve the problem, but then he said he wasn't going to do any free work and he didn't know what happened, so they weren't responsible.When I insisted they just put the tire on and it was obviously the wrong size Then the young guy threatened to "Kick my a*s" if I didn't get off his property immediately.To top all of this off the tire size was so different than the rim size within 12 hours the tire was almost flat again as it was leaking air so badly. I had to get AA to put my spare back on and have records of this as well.I'm now suing them and reversing the charge via VISA. Nirala told VISA they put on the correct tire and it was the first time they heard about this issue. I have a video of me "trying to resolve the issue" before they kicked me off their property and pictures of a very different-sized tire on the back of my car.Do not go to Nirala, they do DANGEROUS WORK. They are extremely unscrupulous and are thieves. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic.I believe ALL positive reviews are fake, these guys are the worst and would definitely buy reviews.

Got extremely taken care of by the great people at Nirala Auto Repair. Took my Sentra to get checked out cause the suspension felt horrible, picked it up a couple days later and it feels brand new. You can tell that these are honest, hard working, mechanics that actually care. The owner even told me to do a little test drive with him to make sure it felt good to me.I can't recommend this place enough, so many mechanics will take advantage of people or give you a cold shoulder the entire time but Nirala seriously cares.Very appreative, I'll definitely bring my car around next time it needs a fix. Thank you guys!

I've had nothing but good interactions with the company. They've been honest and not shady at all. Obviously, every interaction is different but I trust that they will take care of me. We have been using them for about 18 months for both cars we own.

I called ahead to check if they provide the services I was looking for. So, when I arrived I was attended promptly by the manager and mechanic. They were very friendly and professional.

TERRIBLE! unethical and horrible place. DO NOT use them. they are scam artist. I brought my boyfriends car in to get a flat tire fixed. They said it was not fixable and had me buy a "new" tire. They said the tire was the same size and would fit perfectly. Not only was it not the right diameter but was also the wrong width tire. When i noticed it after less than an hour i went back the same day and they cursed me out said to get out and they did nothing wrong. I had to cancel the credit card payment. and thank goodness I paid by credit card as they asked for cash but I only had my credit cards. So I had to fight them on payment. Nirala auto said I never tried to resolve the situation directly with them but I have a video proof that we did try and resolve it directly with them and they refused. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They were horrible unethical mechanics and garage that took advantage of the situation. They sold me a used tire that they said was new and it wasn't even the correct diameter or width and could have caused a serious accident had I driven on the highway. When I asked them to put the spare tire back on they. said if I pay them $20 cash and then when i refused because they had put the incorrect size tire on they were unwilling to help me. Awful place that should lose their business license.Service: Tires

I was driving out of town for Thanksgiving on Wednesday on Tuesday night I noticed my right head light was out I called Charlie Wednesday morning explained what I needed he told me to come in the bulb was changed out in like 15mins. The service & the courtesy is 5 star. Looking for a mechanic in JC who's been in business for 30yrs. Make sure to visit Charlie & AC (Father & Son)

This shop is shady. They asked for money beforehand before looking at the car. Moreover, did not give me receipt even after requesting few times. It never happened to me before. Wonder how they keep account of all the state inspection logo if they don't give receipt. It seems people avoid this place as there were only few customers with junk vehicle for state inspection on the weekend I went.

Vehicle Inspection: Paid $60 for initial inspection. My battery was disconnect prior to that so OBD System Reading was not ready. He told me to come back. I went back to today and he refused to perform the inspection and told me to either pay again or go to the state inspection. I asked him to explain to me why he refused to do the inspection? He started cursing at me and called his son to intimidate me and they both started cursing and yelling at me. I went somewhere else and had the RE-INSPECTION done for free.
