When people talk about neighborhood service, I've relied on this place for the last five years that I have lived in Jersey City and it is hands down the best mechanic I've ever worked with. They were willing to work with me and understand their clientele's needs. I've never had to wait longer than a day to get any work done on my vehicle - even when I take it in the morning. They calmly talk you through repairs, and really help you understand exactly what you need. They're honest, reliable people and I'm very thankful that they are only a few blocks away from me. Hands down, there is no doubt that this is where you need to bring your car for all your needs.

Friendly and got my car inside fast. Price for all around brake service and two used tires was fair. Seemed to want to help and recommend/give you want you need vs. just wanting to take your money. Definitely will come back.

Great place! We arrived and help us right away, they were closing and still went out of their way to help other customers. It was Easter and had to be home, but helped others so they can get home for Easter. I want to say thank you very much and I will be returning. We definitely need more people like them at this establishment.

Keeps saying wait outside. It s 35 degrees outside. The work done speaks for itself. At least have the courtesy to put the weights on properly. Didn t fix crack properly the first time saying I hit a bump and cracked it again in the same spot. Waited 2 hours+ for this job

Worst place to bring your car they just money hungry do half jobs , after getting a big job done they didn't even fix the actual issue like said over phone the check engine light was still on even tho they was only supposed to be working on the front of my car they left my inside filthy with boot prints on my seat and they left my engine splash shield hanging on one side on the bottom of my car and the lady who works the front is always rude and impatient communication skills are bad

If you take your car to this place mark my word your car will have another problem in the following days they will damage something small for you can come back and over charge your plus they will tell you they fixed and issue when they haven't don't nothing they are all theft beware of this place

My husband and I went to multiple mechanics incluing the ford dealership to fix the air-conditioning and no one was able to figure out the issue. We took it to Franklin's as a final attempt and he was able to fix it within 4 days. I highly recommend this auto repair shop. Franklin was referred to my by a friend for coilover installation. Franklin has a great reputation as a mechanic. I reached out to him and he immediately responded to me and told me to bring in my car and coilovers. He took my car in and listened to my concerns and gave me a quality job as he said he would. The work took just a few hours and even after he stood in touch to assure I was happy. All this on thanksgiving day. The man is incredibly good. Left my vehicle here for almost a month to fix an electrical problem. Ended up getting a couple of parking tickets I had to pay out of pocket. Owner Franklin never called me back to discuss this issue and to resolve it. He ignored my text message and left me on seen. I only found out about the tickets because of the letters from court saying I missed my court date so it s either I pay or get a warrant for my arrest. Don t do business here.
