Good morning once I entered the dealership, I was greeted with a warm smile of a young woman at the desk. Within seconds from signing in, I spoke to a salesman of the name of Ahmed. I advise him of the vehicle I wanted the dealership didn t have it on the lot, but he made calls ran around town to get what I wanted. Overall, it was a good experience, much better than previous dealership buying experiences.

I had a great experience in this location, after going to different dealers including other Toyota dealers this location topped with their customer service. My Sales person Ali was fantastic, he was patient, explanatory and informative. He walked me and my sister through the whole process with respect and kindness. We are very happy with the car we got as he was very knowledgeable in all aspects. Will recommend this location and Ali to all my friends and family . Thank you

My name is Karolina and I m posting on behalf of my dad. The staff at Route 22 were so patient and helpful throughout the whole process of buying a car here, especially Bernard. Would highly recommend this dealership to everyone, the staff really went above and beyond to help us.

Felt like family. Super knowledgeable, very polite and casual feeling while still remaining professional. All questions answered, and I got exactly what I wanted. Would do business again in a heartbeat!

I am compelled to share my recent experience at Route 22 to ensure transparency for potential buyers. My ordeal began on December 30, 2023, when I visited the dealership with specific preferences and a strict budget. Despite initial hesitations, negotiations with the salesperson seemed promising, leading to the agreement on a car, out-the-door price, and car delivery by Jan 15 as car was on transit. The situation took a turn on January 15 when I arrived to pick up my car. To my dismay, the dealership pulled my credit, assessed my income, and conveniently decided to increase the out-the-door price, citing the unavailability of the agreed-upon $1,000 rebate. Astonishingly, they waited until after scrutinizing my credit and income to inform me about the rebate discontinuation. This was very fishy!Feeling cornered, I contested the change, only to be told that my deposit did not imply a contractual obligation, and technically, they were not obligated to provide me with the car. To add insult to injury, they falsely claimed the signed price sheet from December 30, which had our price agreement, had been shredded.Exhausted and in need of the car urgently on January 15, I reluctantly agreed to share the cost of the rebate. This entire drama unfolded for a mere $1,000, making me question the value of a deposit, a signed agreement, and customer service at Route 22.Additionally, a few days later, I received a survey from their parent company to share my experience. Hoping that my feedback would contribute to enhancing customer service and promoting transparency, I honestly detailed the disaster I had encountered. Unfortunately, instead of using my survey constructively, the dealership's response was disappointingly childish and revengeful. This retaliation extended to my post-purchase experience when the dealership failed to communicate the delivery of my plates. In fact, I had to initiate contact with them twice to confirm the delivery (with no response to my first attempt). When I went to pick up my plate, the front desk lady offered to put it on my car, an offer I gladly accepted. However, my enthusiasm turned to frustration as I found myself waiting for more than 45 minutes, only to have the manager explicitly state that, due to my previous 1-star rating in their internal survey, they would not assist with fixing the number plate onto my car. While I don't mind taking care of such a simple task on my own, the childish and revengeful behavior exhibited by the dealership is beyond comprehension.I share my story in the hope that it sparks improvements in customer relations, transparency, and integrity at Route 22. Buyers deserve a dealership that values constructive feedback and responds with maturity and professionalism.

Waste of time. I came to the dealership based on an attractive lease deal for a bz4x advertised on their website. I called in advance to confirm that the car was available, and their internet sales rep, Sequioa, told me they had one qualifying bz4x limited on the lot. When I arrived, another sales rep told me that not only did they not have the car there but that there are none on the entire east coast. Total bait and switch. I have nothing to say about the dealership beyond that because I walked out after ten minutes.

We want to express our absolute satisfaction with Rico Marquez's exceptional service we received at Route22 Toyota. He made us feel welcomed and was very knowledgable and patient helping us find our new car. He walked us through the entire process of purchase and we appreciated the transparency as well as efficiency. His calm and patient demeanor made us feel comfortable during the entire process. I will most definitely recommend Rico to all of my friends and family who are looking to buy a new car in the future. Thank you!

This review is of their service center. Today I had a panicked emergency. The wipers of my old RAV4 suddenly stopped working during torrential rain and I coincidentally was able to pull into their parking lot and get off the road safely. I stepped inside the service center, without an appointment, and asked if someone could repair my wipers on an emergent basis, and the service personnel were SO very kind and accommodating. The fix was very quick and I was super thankful and ready to be on my way. The service person stopped me though to conscientiously look up my VIN to confirm that a wiper recall (unknown to me) was previously taken care of, and it ends up that it was. I am so very thankful for their quick, kind and thoughtful service when I really just showed up at random, hoping for any kind of relief. Really added some sunshine to my otherwise rotten day!! THANK YOU!

My experience with the process of buying my car was great however my frustrations started after buying the car. For one my financing is $2000 higher than my contract. What's up with that? Also they messed up my registration so it shows a totally different vehicle than was purchased and they refuse to take responsibility for that mistake. I've never had this many issues when buying a car. Will not be buying here again.

My friend recommended Mr. Nader and Mr. George Wael to me who also got their new car from. they were help me pick the most convenient car I needed .They were very professional, knowledgeable, and had a solution to every obstacle I faced. As a first time new car buyer, I had many questions and they were very easy to reach out to and always answered my question very fast either by phone or email. I was able to receive the best service that I needed to find the car my family and I needed with the help of Mr. Nader and Mr. George. I would recommend them to friends and family members who need someone very honest and knowledgeable.

I understand documents have to be processed. To wait 6-8 hours promised week prior to have a vehicle bring in the amount you were told. Have a cobuyer to only be rejected. They need more trained and experienced staff. Its not just about a commission, but people time and customer service is important especially if we are there be serviced.

Absolutely horrible service. They call me at 9 AM to book an appointment for a vehicle I was interested in, so I book the appointment for 4 PM. I come in and after standing around for 15 minutes I am told that the vehicle is already sold to another customer? Would it not make sense to call me and tell me not to waste my time? Better yet, they try to tell me that they will give me the car and let me drive it if they like the deal I offer them, which basically means if they can get me to pay more than the other guy. At no point did a single manager come up to me and apologize for what had happened. My salesman, Khaled, was uninterested and did not seem like he had any intention of selling me a vehicle. It seemed like all he wanted to do was get me out of that door as fast as possible and he couldn't be bothered to actually assist me in what I was looking for. In all honesty if someone came up to me with a camera and told me I was on a prank show I would have 100% believed it with what I witnessed in just one hour at this place. Absolute joke of a dealership, if you plan on driving a Toyota, please go anywhere else but here.

I'm very disappointed with the professionalism of the people at this dealership. First of all when I went there I specifically spoke to them about not wasting their time neither mine, we spoke about the price of a car and I got the total cost of it. I put $1000 dollars down for them to go and get the car that I was looking for. When I went back to sign the paper, oh surprise the car went up almost $3000. Now what really bother me is that they treated me like if I'm dumb or stupid. When does a monthly payment on a $60K car is the same as if the car cost $65K of course by extending the loan length on top of that whomever the finance person that was trying to help us is, he was very unprofessional, no patience, and i felt treated as a sencond class citizen. Why? Because I didn't want to go with their nonsense or just because I was looking over my own interests. I'm gonna finished with this the $1000 down payment? Never got that back. It was my fault for believing them and not taking my time and reading the papers. So dont beleive what they tell you and dont sign anything and definitely dont give them any money until everything is finalized. Definitely I will never go back nor I will ever recommend anyone this dealership. I'm in the military and for me everything start with respect and that's something they lock off

This was the most seamless car purchasing experience! Eddie put us into the car we were looking for at a great price, with no nonsense. This is what buying a car should always be like. Very grateful to Eddie and the rest of the team at Route 22 Toyota. Would absolutely recommend and they will be our first call if we need another vehicle.

What a pity that this car dealership makes one of the best brands in the world such as Toyota look so bad by throwing away all the work that this company has achieved for many years, says a dissatisfied client, a client who is being harmed for these gentlemen who make up Toyota route 22 hillside, they will ask why harmed? On May 31 at 11 in the morning I took my Toyota 4 runner limited 2021 to do a tire rotation of the 14 thousand miles they delivered it to me at 2:30 pm leaving this dealership a few miles away I suffered an accident due to negligence of the Mechanics already that they left the rear tires of my car loose and my tire went off and my car was left lying on the street without rear tires, I called them to complain and we agreed that they would take care of all the damage to my vehicle. They gave me a call that my vehicle was ready, my husband went to pick up the vehicle, he was surprised that the parts that were affected during the accident that they caused due to the negligence of their mechanics had not been changed, we proceeded to call the police since the manager from this dealership he was telling us that he was going to call the police he wanted us to take the car in those conditions. We proceeded to call the police. Since our vehicle was delivered to us in poor condition with scratches and bumps. Now we have enough evidence to start our lawsuit. Be very careful with this dealership, check your cars before removing them from the services they provide, the only thing they do is harm the people who buy their vehicle with so much effort! What a pity that Toyota gives poor attention to its customers!Mr. Tom Carrino was a rude person since he began to yell at us and treat us as if we were criminals.I m making sure that this will be out on Tv and news and that you don t harm anybody else out there! You won t forget about me! That s for sure!

Purchased my first car at Route 22 Toyota today, and the whole experience couldn't have been more pleasant. I put down deposit as soon as this car was allocated, and Robert Yeng has been my sales contact through the whole process. He's clear and courteous with all the communications, kept me updated with progress, and handled the whole transaction at the dealership today very efficiently and professionally. No pressure to add anything I don't actually want. I will definitely come to this dealership again for future vehicle related needs.

The process took too much time. The fact that everything has to be run by the manager and the constant going back and forth is such a waste of time. I hate the song and dance routine of used car dealerships. Then they try to sell you all the bells and whistles and extra stuff you really don t need. With all the histrionics, it took three hours. It s a car purchase, not a kidney transplant. The finance guy was great, though. He was quick and direct.Follow up: I was only given one key at the time of purchase and told they would get in touch with the prior owner to get the second key and get back to me. I was never contacted. When I called to ask about the second key, I was placed on hold then had to leave a voicemail. I still haven t heard back if they were able to get the second key or not. They made it a point not to mention there was only one key until after I purchased the car and signed all the paperwork. That was so not cool. The least they could ve done is knock off a few hundred dollars from the purchase price for a replacement key. Now I have to buy a replacement key since I was only given one set.Follow-up: I went to another Toyota dealership (a reputable one) and they said because my car was certified I should ve been given two keys at the time of my purchase. The reputable dealership also said I was charged 3x the necessary amount for the TMIS (VSA insurance)!!!! I m still getting emails from Route 22 Toyota saying they re sorry about my experience and can they resolve the issue, but they still won t give me the second key. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!

The service department representatives will make you feel awful for calling them. This is in reference to the conversation I had with a service representative at ext 4126 at 4:05 on 1/23/24. She placed me on hold and then hung up twice. When I called for the third time, she informed me I couldn't be helped, despite the fact that I had given her the number and vin as she had requested, "all I need is a status" I said. I asked her if I might speak to a superior. She told me the manager was not present moments after claiming to have spoken with him/her; why lie to me. I'm not a fan of publishing reviews, but this one warrants it.

**Undisclosed warranties added to contract without consent**I helped my father buy a new car, and despite agreeing to pay for a "market adjustment," the finance manager, Aaron Stevens, added three warranties without his knowledge or approval. To further obscure the inflated cost, he extended the financing term to hide the increase in monthly payments. My dad said the contract signing was rushed and in the end was only given a USB drive, being told that ever since COVID they no longer provide printed copies. Ironically, nothing on the sales side seemed to be affected by COVID protocols. After reviewing his contract at home, I discovered the undisclosed packages that my father knew nothing about, and promptly contacted the corporate office to file a complaint and start the lengthy process to get them removed. After multiple attempts to reach the dealership, I finally spoke to the GM Rod Solis who was more upset about the corporate complaint than anything else. He got Aaron on the call who of course defended himself and attributed the situation to a "miscommunication," one that benefited the dealership financially.Despite expressing my disappointment and requesting a readjustment to my father's originally approved loan terms Rod said that wouldn't be possible. All in all talking to the dealership did absolutely nothing.Beware of deceptive practices and lackluster customer service.
