Had a Mazda and Lexus with some exhaust issues. Took care of both cars at a fraction of the cost of the dealer and other shops like Midas. Haven t had any exhaust problems with either of the cars since. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone with a car

Best technicans , honest, repairs done correctly. very cost effective. I have used (using) their service over 10 year for Toyota Sienna, VW passat, Volvo XC60, Subaru forester. I have reffered them to many of my friends and they're very happy with the service.

I have been going to City Auto for a few years. Usually just for an oil change and tire rotation. My last visit someone made a mistake and my oil cap wasn t tightened on. Tony, the owner went above and beyond to clean the oil and test anything that could have been damaged. Accidents happen, it s how you fix them that matters. Tony knows his stuff. Is able to pinpoint faults and will not replace something unnecessarily. Dependable work. Tony and his team are amazing. No fuss, no non-sense, quality work and brutally honest. Always do a great job at a more reasonable price (can t beat this pricing anywhere nearby). They never sell you anything that your car doesn t need, they even discourage you from opting for more work when it is absolutely not necessary or can wait until the next time.

Heading home to VA from NY and had a problem with the driver's seat separating from the rails. Stopped in and one hour later I'm back on the road. The price was more than fair. Tony and crew were professional, courteous, and capable. If I lived in the area this would be my new shop.

City Auto is a great garage for car repairs. The can handle both domestic and have true expertise with imports. They are an honest mechanic that you can trust and they stand behind their work. They have great customer service and prices are fair. This is a great local business that I am happy to recommend and support.

They took my Lil 2006 infiniti that had the noisiest muffler and made it sound quiet and like brand new! They do amazing work and are such nice ppl and so knowledgeable. The price was do reasonable I highly suggest taking your vehicle here

So far the work seems to be good. Brakes and starter in my 1996 Mustang GT. Three stars though because their communication is terrible they rarely call back and they had my car for over a month. Pricing is fair.

Very impressed with the thoroughness of the staff at this shop to say the least. Repairs took a bit longer than I had wanted but to be honest, it was a holiday weekend this place is packed to the gills with customer cars at all time *for a reason*; they re very skilled at what they do. They did a good, clean job on my older obscure make of vehicle and I definitely feel like I have no need to take my cars anywhere else now that I have found City Auto.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

I took my car to BMW Dealership to have a full diagnostics ran on the car because it was starting slow , BMW certified mechanics told me the car needed a starter , I then took my car to JOSE AUTO REPAIR showing him what BMW recommended he said ok let me double check and confirmed it was the starter. Two weeks went by I stopped by to check on my car to find out my car isn't there IT'S AT CITY AUTO CENTER WHICH IS INSANE !!! After a month of getting the run around I stopped in to check on my car and it's still not starting properly I called to speak to TONY SINCE JOSE SAID "I don't work on these kind of cars". TONY SAID YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO JOSE ABOUT THIS IDK AND HUNG UP. I'LL BE IN CONTACT WITH THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

I've been coming to City Auto in Hightstown for about a year now to maintain my Civic Si. Tony and his crew are very kind and honest and know exactly what to do for reasonable prices. So far I've had many oil changes done here, brake changes, tire changes, a/c fixed, and each time has been painless.Thank you guys- I'm glad that I found this place for my car needs.

I've lived in the area for 28 years and started using City Auto about 5 years ago. They are the best mechanics I've ever used. They never find "mystery" issues like other shops. You can count on them for competence and integrity which is hard to find these days. They are always very busy, so at times you may have to wait for service, or drop your car off...but it's well worth it.

I've had two of my high-mileage cars serviced by City Auto over the past four years and for every service, oil change to mechanical issues, Tony and his team have provided excellent customer service and professional results, always properly diagnosing the problems and fixing the issue properly and at a fair price. To date, they have never padded a job or come up with unnecessary work, and so they have my trust and I gladly recommend them.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

First off let me say, Tony is the man! He was so nice and polite. Explained everything to me perfectly and to my understanding. I don't know much when it comes to cars but he made me feel extremely comfortable.Had to get my transmission fluids drained and a few other things with it and the workers at City Auto were absolutely fantastic. I felt a difference in the acceleration immediately and the car runs so smoothly now.Service: Transmission

Tony and his employees at City Auto are professional, trustworthy, reasonably priced & flat out good people. They treat you respectfully and answer any questions or concerns you may have before and after completing their work. My family has had Lexus, BWM & Mercedes vehicles serviced and repaired at City Auto and have had an excellent experience every time. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed with this Center. I had read some reviews and felt this was the place to go with my BMW, which was having an unusual problem. From the moment I met and spoke with Tony I felt very comfortable. He really knows his stuff and employs great techs. They diagnosed my problem which wasn't easy, but they did it in a very orderly and organized fashion so that they kept the cost down. They did solve it and I walked away a very happy customer. Their prices are great compared to BMW service. They have the smart people and they are very friendly to boot. What more could you ask? They have me for a regular customer.

Spent $1000 on various repairs with them. They could not fix the tail pipe and made it worse than before. Now the car makes a loud noise it was not making before. The car is unusable unless I spend another $1000. Very disappointed.
