if i could give no stars , i would. i never ever leave reviews anywhere but what a horrific experience i ve had here. i was told i needed new back brakes , so of course i said to immediately service them. 5 days go by - my truck will not come to a stop as i was on the highway. my brakes were literally not working. i am lucky to have no gotten into an accident , and to be alive. the brakes were clearly done wrong as they are HANGING OFF in the above photos. i called midas and brought it in. the guys there looked shocked. i didn t hear from them for four hours. when i did get a call that it was ready all they said was sorry. i said what possibly went wrong. the man responded one guy started the job and left, so another guy finished the job and i guess didn t check the brakes the fact that i asked to be refunded for the labor on the brakes and was instantly told no is truly wild. that is a HUGE safety hazard, and myself or someone else could have seriously been injured. i will NEVER be back here.

Steve was great. Came in for tire rotation. Discovered we had maybe 2 days left on the breaks. Did it immediately, took 1/2 hr to do breaks & pads. Would never go anywhere else. These guys are the best.

Great service. Very thorough. They don t force me to do anything I don t want. I have received great service from them for the past 4 years. I ve had tires done, oil changes, belts replaced. And they were knowledgeable and courteous.

The employees at Midas were great! I got my brakes fixed in less than 24 hours. They were great at communicating the issue and even gave me a coupon code. Price was reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.

I love it here! It s not easy finding a place you can trust. They are always honest and very thorough. My car is always done as fast as possible too rather than my car sitting at a mechanic for any extended amount of time. I have a very tight schedule, I also have a child and they take that seriously. Highly recommend!

Steve was great and very friendly. They took my car in right away, identified the issue and fixed it all within a span of a few hours. I will definitely be giving repeat business to Midas in Hazlet.

Steve and Jay were great. It was my first time bringing my car here to get checked out, they were open and honest about everything from repairs and price and kept me in the loop the whole way with texts, calls & pics. My car runs great and I'm very happy with their service and quality or work and fair pricing. This is definitely the only place I'm going to have my car worked on from now on

I recently had my exhast manifold changed at the Hazlet Midas because my Manifold flange failed. Midas charged my close to $800 for the manifold that costs a maximum of $300. I was able to find a quality OEM replacement for less than $200. I was not aware they were charging so much for the part until I saw the receipt. They are preying on their customers and way overcharging. I would not recommend them.

This establishment, Midas of Hazlet, does not even deserve even one star. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS REPAIR FACILITY. I had the absolute displeasure in dealing with the most incompetent repair shop I have ever done business with. I had a broken exhaust pipe and went to Midas of Hazlet. When the technician was driving up the ramp lift, I heard a loud bang. He backed up and tried again to drive up the ramp. Again there was a loud bang. He then moved to another lift and upon inspection rather than just having a broken pipe, I now had a destroyed exhaust. To remedy this situation, I agreed to purchase an exhaust system and they would provide the labor. Also they were to install a blower motor. After the so called repair was made, while driving home, the brand new exhaust system came apart destroying the pipes. The so called technician did not clamp the system together. They now destroyed two exhaust systems. If this wasn't enough incompetence, they took apart the dashboard to replace the blower motor and not only cracked the dashboard in numerous places, I found screws that were not tighten and missing. I highly recommend you avoid Midas of Hazlet.

Great service, I'm working out of town and needed to get my oil changed I was at another place beforehand where they had me wait 30-40 mins then telling me that they only had 3 of the 10 quarts needed for my truck. I then went to Midas and asked point blank if they had enough oil to get my truck done, the guy at the front desk told me he didn't but he could have there in 10 to 15 mins. They had my truck done and me out the door within a half hour. I would highly recommend them and I know in the future I won't waste my time going anywhere else

Jay & Steve were courteous and efficient. My car's CV Axle was damaged and they fixed it quickly and for substantially less than a competitor was asking. Jay stayed later than usual to allow me time to get home and get the car that night. A wonderful experience. The car is running well. Went to Midas because they offer a $20 discount on synthetic oil change. After the discount it was still $70+ . Decent service but I will likely go back to changing my own oil.

UPDATE 4/10 --Went in again for a tire repair ans treated very well by the staff. They pulled my car in, fixed my tire, and even balanced it. They also performed an oil change very quickly for my car. I will be seeing them again to repair a bent rim which has diminished my ride quality and advised me to not do other services until the rim is fixed - they said it'd be a waste of money. Honesty and integrity at this location.Previously posted - The guys there - Jay and Ken - were so nice and accommodative. I came in w a flat tire that was a chronic problem and the guys there correctly diagnosed it was a bent rim on the inside. They helped us set up the spare but what set them apart was that we were taking our daughter to college that moment. The team helped us unpack the entire car and REPACK our other car to get her to school with minimal time lost. We got her to school, they got the rim fixed and the car is finally good. Kudos to the team there and know this location has honorable guys working there who care. I'll be going back to have other rims fixed on my car soon and routine maintenance. - John and Lisa D'Service: Wheel alignment

I love this place. Trustworthy mechanics are hard to find. They've had many an opportunity to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and never have. Work is always done right and quickly. I feel their pricing is fair and they stand by their work Service guys are always friendly! All my car services are handled here.
