Service Manager has more technical knowledge about cars & trucks than anyone I know. The service is professional. The work is done quickly & at reasonable rates. Never any attempt to have more work done than is necessary. My first choice for auto maintenance.

I felt my car shake every time I used my brakes. I took my car to get looked at by Mike at rick Allen's in Hampton. He told me that my front rotors were warped and just to wear them out. I had a friend look at my rotors and this is what he found. Thanks Mike for the $80 advice. I am never going back to this shop never again

Being an owner of a classic car, (1968 Camaro) I don t want just anyone working on it. Rick Allen s shop came highly recommended. Appointment was set in a timely manor and Mike told me if I got there first thing, they would bring the car right in. Rick actually brought the car in and worked on it personally which I appreciated.I ve worked in the automotive business for 38 as a technician, advisor and service manager.I think based on my automotive experience and my service experience at Rick s I can also now highly recommend Rick Allen s Auto Repair!

I do my own repair work on my car when I can. I appreciate what the crew at Rick Allen does when they work on my car. They are professional and thorough. They look the car over and let you know what else may need to be addressed while they have the car. I had the car in recently for tires and no other items needed to be addressed, but on a previous visit (2019) for air conditioning work and tire rotation they noticed that he rear brakes were dragging. They gave me the option to have that work done, prolonged the life of my brakes to this past December.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning

These guys are the best. They ll always tell you how it is. Instead of up charging, ricks s guy Mike will tell you what really does and does t need to be done to your car. I d rate them 12* if I could.

I have used Rick Allen's for several years. The staff is very friendly and helps me to determine what I need to get done. This shop only does the work that is needed and does not tack on all the extra junk I have received elsewhere! Rick's is a place that does the job once and does it right. Every time I use their services or have recommended them to my friends, we have been pleased by the results.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning

Rick Allen s was suggested by a friend of mine and I have now suggested it to many others. Each experience has been top notch and they get my car back on the road at a very reasonable price. Mike is always very helpful and kept me up to date on any issues during the process. New to town and so glad I found this place. Rick and Mike were both very friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to get to the root of a problem with my car. They were very honest and about what my car did and- most importantly- did not need. I never once felt pressured and they were very polite answering all of my questions. Rick even took my car for a ride to give me insight before I even scheduled with them! I was able to get a next day appointment. I am very satisfied and highly recommend.

I have had many positive experiences with Rick Allen's. This past Monday, for example, I needed my car repaired as soon as possible. I got there at opening time, and they got me right in, diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and had me out by 10 at a very reasonable price. I was able to salvage most of my work day, and I know it was fixed right. They stand behind their work and are proactive in advising of possible future problems without trying to sell anything if it's not yet needed. Good people, I'm happy to have them in my neighborhood.

My experience has been two decades of quality, honesty and letting the customer call the shots. Once out of warranty I've brought every vehicle I own to Rick Allen's. I can do most things myself so I know when I'm getting good advice or not. They understand tradeoffs and work with me to keep costs where I want them I have never brought a vehicle back because something wasn't right, unlike some dealers around here. Good folks I can trust like family and I like supporting a local shop.

One of the most professionally run shops I have ever visited. The culture of customer service is obvious from whomever answers the phone to a mechanic who may make an appearance. I'll return with most all of my vehicle services.

I have know Rick Allen and his team since the 1988 and he has been providing continuous expert service and advice ever since that time. Rick and Mike are the two most honest and knowledgeable car repair men in the world. <<< Phil D..I would never have considered towing a camper to Seattle Washington without having Mike and Rick look over my F150 tow vehicle. This tune-up was very complete, and even included a new value stem on my spare tire. I final feel like this trip west is doable...

I emailed their shop on a Sunday for 4 issues my car was having. I did not expect to hear back until some time on Monday, at the earliest. However, Rick Allen himself got back to me within minutes that same day and i was scheduled right away for that Tuesday.I was also very impressed that they were able to give me a ride to & from work that day so my car could be fixed. They fixed everything in one day and even a couple other issues that they noticed as well when they were 'under the hood'.Their staff was very nice & explained everything that was done thoroughly. I am very impressed and will recommend this shop very highly. Thank you so much!

They get things done right at the first time. The management and staff are very helpful and skillful. All repairs are being done quickly and on time. Quality of their service combined with honest and reasonable prices, make Rick Allen's Auto Repair one of the best auto-service shops in central New Jersey. Needless to say, I would recommend it to anybody.

Best Auto repair, amazing people and family ran business. Their Very honest and wonderful staff as well as the Owner.It's a pleasure dealing with honest people, who do great work. I'd recommend this Auto Repair shop to everyone, it's worth the money if you want the job done correctly the first time, you don't have to keep going back because it wasn't done right the first time.They also will tell you what the vehicle may also need that you won't have even known about, there that honest extremely notable on all makes models of know matter what vehicle you're bringing in.Rick Allen started his family business as well his staff knows so much about vehicles it's truly mid blowing. His shop is alway s busy and people truly come from all over the state as well as other state's. I'll never forget saying Rick, you and your staff are none stop busy, yet from the entrance to each slot car's, trucks classic cars how the heck is it so spotless? Well after each vehicle is done each person as well as myself cleans it including the end of each day. That completely blew my mind. Right down to their uniforms.I've been going to Rick Allen's Aunto for around 12 year's to date still in which almost is 2022. I recommend his shop staff to everyone I know including stranger's.Than there's Mike who runs the front desk. Wow their's nothing the man doesn't know and he will recommend certain different types of material makers as well when you're car is done he'll go over everything with you including what you should have done or when you really shop have it done. Mike will even give you time frames and how long you can wait too do it or don't wait or you'll have big problems.I'd recommend paying a tiny bit more for honesty and great work. Rick Allen Auto Repair is the best in the state. Enjoy tell them Gigi sent you I'm sure they'll say only Gigi and be happy too help you with anything possible, they'll even give you a heads up if you should get rid of the vehicle. There has working staff are all great, you honestly can't go wrong.

I've known Rick for over 40 years and he has serviced the family's vehicles for at least half that time. Rick and his staff are friendly and will help you with any problem/concern that you are having with your vehicle. The staff is friendly and courteous and will fix your vehicle right the first time. Making an appointment is easy by calling or scheduling it online. You couldn't ask for a better place to get your vehicle serviced.

A good mechanic can save your life. I came in for a suspension noise; Rick found a break line that clearly and dangerously near failure. The break line had an apparent surface nick that removed protective coating, the loss of coating enabled progression of a one inch section rust. Clearly the line would have failed in time, perhaps at highway speeds. I did not come in for breaks! This had been my first visit to Rick's being relatively new to the area, had I picked a different provider they may have never took the time to look at my break lines.If that is not enough quality of service... When I left my car, my mobile phone number had been jotted down wrong. Rick had no way to call me so he test drove to my home and left a note on the front door to call.The level of care, quality and service at Rick Allen's Auto Repair is unmatched. Look no further.

I started going to Rick Allens many years ago when I was in the area. I am no longer in the area but because of their excellent service and fair prices I take a day off and drive my car from South Brunswick, NJ so they can work on it! I trust them to tell me what repairs I need (or don't need!) and what might be coming up. They always do a great job with a friendly smile.

I just got my 2011 Ford Flex repaired at the shop. They did excellent work! The service rep was super nice and knowledgeable. They were honest and upfront about costs and worked with me on what I could afford. I would highly recommend them !

This is the best mechanic I've dealt with since my Dad's friend serviced my car 20 years ago. These guys treat you like they want to help YOU not line their pockets with unnecessary repairs. They work around your schedule and go the extra mile to work with any warranty company. I'm moving out of the area but will drive back to remain their customer.

I had some concerns about the rust underneath my Subaru. They scheduled me same day and gave professional and informed advice about the prognosis of my car. They know what they're talking about it and present it at a cheap price point!

Professional people and Garage, they fix the car the right way the first time. If there is a problem that comes up other than what you came in for they let you know and advise you, no unnecessary pushing or what if scenarios. They get the work done and are honest as to what it costs or how long you can go before something needs to be replaced or repaired. No games like a lot of other garages. Great people!!

Rick Allen seems to have great employees who actually do care about you and it shows in how they speak to you. I had serious car issues that rendered my kia unusable and Rick showed empathy. You would not hear empathy at a big box service center.

Rick and his entire staff are excellent. They handle the maintenance of my company vehicle and personal vehicles and I've never had an issue. They are always responsive, listen to your concerns, and explain the services performed.
