If I could use only one word to describe the service I received it would be WOW!! My Excursion broke down and I was lucky enough that it broke down by Precision Automotive and Diesel. Rob quickly looked at my Diesel engine diagnosed the problems told me the cost. He is very open and forthcoming about his experience with 6.0 Diesel engines. His knowledge instantly made me realize I was fortunate to have broken down there. He provided several options in fixing my engine. I ultimately decided to have him replace everything that was wrong. In addition, he walked me through what I needed to do from this point forward in order to extend the life of my Diesel engine. You will not find anyone more knowledgeable about a 6.0 engine then Rob. He told me that if I have any questions to call him and he would be more than happy to help me. This is a very customer friendly shop. The bottom line was after the repairs were made my 6.0 ran better than it had in years. Take your vehicle to him you will not be disappointed.

Do not use this mechanic! My vehicle was returned with damage. Problems were not repaired. I was yelled at by the owner. Since then every time I see a truck owner I asked them who they used as a mechanic. Every single one I have run into so far has said do not use this mechanic. If you're looking for a diesel mechanic just ask diesel truck owners in parking lots or fuel stations. You'll soon find people that are giving the same answer I'm giving now.

Something strange is going on at this shop.Mary, the receptionist is kind and helpful. Matt, one of the diesel mechanics is thoughtful and conscientious - I think a very good mechanic.However, the owner, Rob...not sure.They had my work truck for over three months ('99 7.3) and it did not run any better after it was 'fixed'.The problem became worse over the next three weeks and so I took my truck to Metro Injection. Metro had my truck fixed in a week.I went back to Rob to speak with him in person and he denied having accidentaly missed or wrongly diagnosed. He said that they couldn't get the truck to behave poorly, which was untrue - when I first dropped the truck off, Matt and I took it for a test drive and he experienced it exactly - truck when cold would start immediately, but then either die on it's own while warming up or die when coming to a stop just after pulling away...and then be VERY hard to restart.Rob said that he has a great reputation and needed my truck for over three months because he is so busy because of his great reputation and then repeatedly stated that I should watch where I buy diesel - that that was my problem...Never mind that the problem persisted over thousands of miles in different states...many tanks of fuel.I don't like to leave bad reviews, but there is something strange going on here.

If I could give this place 0 start I would I I never leave bad reviews they handled my bus very Improfesional the own told us to come in at 8am and they could take a look at the breaks for me we waited there for 8hrs to get charged 800 for only 5 hrs of working taking tires off and putting them back on which we could have done way faster the owner was very rude saying it s not our fault we didn t ask him for the price when we called in and we never got a time estame after explaining to the staff we where on a road trip and staying in the bus with no where else to go! Very nom understanding and non communication 10/10 would never ever recommend! After all the wait time they didn t even have the part we needed to get it fixed and couldn t get one for three days and still charged an outrages rate!!

Rob is absolutely amazing. He worked on my eco diesel back in 2016 putting on a tuner and exhaust. Like a dummy I brought my truck into the dealer for recalls and screwed up the tune. I called Rob and he took the time to explain what I needed to get and do. I ordered a tuner which ended up being a disaster to install since the company was in Canada and not helpful at all. Rob spent hours of his time contacting them and figuring it all out and now my truck runs great!! There is no doubt in my mind that no one else would ve taken the time to do this. Rob and his staff are extremely professional, friendly, and treat their customers like they have known them forever. Thanks again Rob I really appreciate what you did for me!!

Hands down the best diesel shop around in NJ. My vehicle broke down on the side of the road while taking my wife to dinner. Had it towed to Precision Auto and Diesel and they were able to look at it right away even with a loaded schedule of vehicles. My motor had to be rebuild and Robert the owner is a man that stands by his word and his work. I had my dodge back and running in record time. The guys there are great but Robert stands behind his work. He rebuilt the motor himself to give me the best job possible. He kept me in the loop on the process of the build and was very fair on the end price. I would recommend this shop to everyone. You really need to trust a diesel mechanic and here is your spot. Thanks a lot Rob, Carol, and all the guys in the shop and I'll be coming back over and over.

I was traveling and got a flat tire. I pulled into this place to see if they could fix my flat. The tire wasn t repairable so the mechanic told me to move my car so he could put on the spare. I guess it was naive of me to think the ask was out of kindness. I pulled out the spare. He jacked up the car and changed the tire. I put the bad tires in the trunk and began filling the tire with air from my own person air compressor. They then asked for my keys so they could move the car to use their equipment to fill the tire. I went in my car to grab $20 in cash to thank the mechanic but the mechanics said to check out with the owner. When the clerk said that will be $89, I thought he was joking. $89 for less than a 5 minutes job?!?! When I questioned the absorbent cost, they were kind enough to remove the $9 hazmat fee. Now I should have asked about the cost up front. That s on me. BUT they could have also mentioned there would be a 30 minute labor charge for less than 5 minutes of work, and the use of their tools. Lesson learned. But these guys are shady. Take your business elsewhere.

Absolutely above the mark customer service, skills, library of knowledge, kindness and patience. My truck broke down on my birthday traveling through the area. I was so lucky that I was only a mile away from one of the best truck mechanics Ive dealt with. They went as a team and the owner included, above and beyond what it means to give quality service of mechanical value and customer service. I would recommend them to anyone anytime anywhere. I can only hope if I have vehicle trouble again to be passing thru or near Hampton nj and precision auto.

My daughter and two friends were traveling the east coast in a camper van. Brake line went out. The folks at Precision worked with me over the phone and were wonderful with the kids. Got 21 of brake line installed, bled and working great for a very reasonable price - all in 2.5 hours. Thank you VERY much from a Dad in Michigan!

I have gone to Precision on multiple occasions and would go back in a heartbeat. I have a 2006 F250 6.0. I bout the truck used in 2014 with 90k on it. They did a full diagnostic and recommended I bulletproof my truck in addition to doing the head studs that are a common fail on these trucks. I did my research and i couldn t beat their price anywhere else.I have driven over 200 miles to take my truck to Precision to get repairs done. They are friendly, prompt, fair and very military friendly. I highly recommend them for your diesel needs.

Stay away from this shop.I called before having a truck towed there. I informed them of the situation and wanted to make sure it was something they could handle. They have no clue what they're doing. They had the truck 6 months and still couldn't get it running and hit me for $1,150 Bill. Claims he only charged me for parts and not labor. I did my research and found out he doubled the price of the parts. I had to pay a tow truck to tow it out of there.Precision Diesel I don't think so, more like no clue diesel. I'm in the hole for over $2,100 between Towing and work he claims was done and I have a truck that still doesn't run. I was told bring it to a shop that's familiar with that type of truck. Unbelievable.

Fantastic service and work! My diesel Jeep is running really well after a little tune-up. I really appreciated the shop's owner explaining some maintenance must-do's moving forward as this is my first diesel vehicle. And bonus, their receptionist is super friendly! Thanks Precision!

I had taken my vehicle in to Precision after another shop could not figure out why I had smell of gasoline in the cabin of my jeep. Rob found the issue with a short period of time [ leaky fuel rail]. Had the parts ordered and installed with new injectors and fuel filter. They recommended the other parts since the vehicle had 239 xxx on the clock. No more fuel smell and runs great. Thanks Rob for the great work. will only use them for now on!

I was stuck in New Jersey in my company van due to a radiator leak. Precision Automotive was right next door. The owner Robert and the mechanic looked immediately and could tell right away the radiator needed to be replaced. While waiting, the gal at the desk Carol offered me a slice of pizza and some soda while I waited. The employees here are genuine and a real class act. If ever you need auto repair while no. NJ, I highly recommend Precision Automotive for all your repair needs.Thanks for you concern.

A few years ago I was looking for a trust worthy good mechanic and a friend recommended I try Precision Auto & Diesel. I don't have a diesel but this company has been working on my vehicles for a long time and I'm very satisfied. They are thorough, fair prices and never had any problems. Highly recommend!

Since I've found this place I will go nowhere else. Being in customer service myself I appreciate that they are honest and have their client (me) best interest. We have three vehicles old, new, truck, SUV... and trust Precision with them all. I highly recommend giving them a call for all your automotive needs.

What a good group of people- my car broke down outside of the shop and I was a walk-in. As a young female, I felt safe and super taken care of. They provided really great service and were just super honest and kind people. Very happy I found them today.

Robs the only guy i d ever allow to touch my 6.0. I ve searched the east coast for the best 6.0 mechanic and came across precision and I m sure glad I did. I told Rob exactly what I wanted and he went above and beyond my expectations. Even when I tried to throw more money at him to do work I thought would get me to my goal, he explained that I was just wasting it with the upgrades I thought I needed. Other guys would gladly take the money but Rob was honest and only gave me what I needed. Provided precise explainations about EVERYTHING. Anytime I had a question he would go into such detail about everything, this guy knows powerstrokes. Nothing could wipe the smile off my face when I m driving my new and improved 6.0 and I owe that 100% to Rob and the excellent knowledgeable mechanics at precision. If you re looking for any work on a power stroke or any other type of gas/diesel car, look no further, you re in EXCELLENT hands with precision auto and diesel.

Love this place! Great customer service and they do great work at a good price and truck is always done on time if not earlier! Won't be taking my truck anywhere else but here!

Takes much longer to work on your truck than initially stated. Always ends up costing much more because something else is always damaged while working on your vehicle. They seem a bit untrustworthy.

These guys helped us out after cars starter died, they find us the new part super fast and for a good price. Highly recommend, friendly people, great service and hospitality.
