After my transmission died I sent Level 10 my supercharged AWD 2005 Honda Element all the way from Texas. Both Jay and Pat were very helpful in answering my many questions regarding their high hp transmission build. They both rebuilt and beefed up my auto transmission and differential. They also upgraded my torque converter, valve body, and weak links with billet internals, extra. My torque converters stall speed was increased to 3k rpm making it even more fun to drive. My Element is shifting great and I am super happy. Pat seems to genuinely care about his customers and their builds. He seemed to appreciate my Element and joked with me after my car left their shop saying, I didn t want to give it back ! If you are on the fence like I was for a while about such a big investment, just do it. Rest assured they are legit and will take care of you.

I have a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado that I had the stock torque converter replaced due to the Chevy shudder and it was still running poorly. I called Level 10 and Pat assured me he could tune the transmission and eliminate my issues. I had the tune put in a week ago and I am truly impressed. My truck has never shifted so smooth and run so good. I highly recommend Level 10 for any of your transmission needs. Pat and his team are friendly and professional and provide a great service at a very reasonable price. Check out Level 10 I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the quality of service they provide. I was even more impressed when Pat called me a week later to be sure everything was good. I feel like I'm part of their family and not just another customer.

Pat Barrett and his Team is Awesome! My 2016 JKU had been giving me problems for a few months. I was referred to Level 10 by my mechanic and Pat's team determined that my transmission was shot as well the front drive shaft boot. The Team new of my urgency to get it fixed and had my baby back on the road in 2 days and I drove to Florida a few days later and she's been fantastic! Thank you Pat Barrett!

I had the best experience at Level 10 Transmission. They listened to the problems I had, identified them and worked with my extended car warranty to get me the best results! My trucks runs amazing and I hopefully won t ever have to have my transmission rebuilt but in the chance I have to, they will be my go to place! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!!

I literally just left this place and will be a customer for life!! Our Chevelle got brought in to service a reverse manual transmission and a new rear. There was a miscommunication with the 3% credit card fee (not Level 10s fault).The owner, Pat, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I wasn't going to leave a review but after reading some of the negative ones on here, I just had to put my two cents in and say I don't believe them.This is a great place that does quality work! They are priced higher than other places but the craftsmanship and customer service is there! We also received a three year warranty.

My experience with level 10 performance has been absolutely awesome , they have great customer service, very helpful, answered all of my questions. They sell great quality rebuild/overhaul kits, they did awesome work on my stall converter, and valve body. I paid for a fully built 4r for my 7.3, brought it to level 10 thinking it would be done right and I won t have to worry about it. Blew up not 100 miles later so I brought it back he built it same thing not 100 miles later it blew up, this went on like 6 times not just 1 or 2 but 6 also mind you this place is 2 plus hours from me one way.the final time I had about enough and his attitude towards me was vary unprofessional I am a vary easy going person and tried to give him multiple chances. So I took the transmission apart myself and found that the parts inside were not what I was paying for they were eBay input and output shafts and converter everything inside was not what I was paying thousands of $ for . I paid for all billet internals and did not cheap out with the bill. Yet what was getting put in was not billet it was cheap eBay Chinese stuff. I would never recommend to anyone to bring their vehicle here. I built the transmission myself the final time and it has been great no issues

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Level 10. My transmission is better now after working with Level 10 than when my truck was new. The entire experience was outstanding. OUTSTANDING BUSINESS!!!!! My employees blew the transmission on my silverado (to be fair it has over 200,000 miles on it). I dropped the truck off on Thursday night after hours. I received a call on friday morning at 8 AM that the technician had already test drove and diagnosed the problem. i was provided a fair quote and gave them the green light to start the work. By Saturday morning I received a call (assuming the worst) but much to my surprise the transmission was swapped and ready for pickup. My mind was blown, I was expecting 5-7 days turn around time due to the upcoming holiday weekend. Pat and his team made it a point to stay late AND come in early to get my work truck back on the road. Because of Pat and his team i was able to keep ALL of my scheduled appointments with clients. I HIGHLY recommend LEVEL 10!!!

I highly recommend Level 10 Transmissions. The trans in my 2015 Suburban quit. I was in a jam. Pat and the team built a heavy duty transmission for me. My Suburban has never run better. It has more power and gets better gas mileage. Thanks again to the team at Level 10 transmissions!!

After dealing with another trans shop, I realized I should have went to Level 10 from the beginning. A buddy of mine has had one of their transmissions in his car since the mid 90 s, and it s still going strong! Quick turn around and Pat is a great guy to deal with. Will be recommending them going forward.

I don't know much about this place. I called them to see what they did to a transmission in a car that I bought because the transmission was bad. They told me that they only changed the pump and did not rebuild the transmission. So I'll be getting a replacement locally by me in Illinois. I don't know if they do quality work.

Everyone whom worked on my car did an excellent job on my transmission that definitely is noticeable better and allow me to no longer worry about the fact that I was past the safe point on power transfer to the transmission. Thanks!

I Honestly couldn t be any happier. My car kicks like a horse. I definitely can feel the power in my new transmission. Level 10 is a 100% the way to go. Built and modified the way I needed and the wanted it !!!

They are called level 10 for a reason! In explaining to Pat that I literally work in my van and without it I am out of work he said when can you get it to me? Pat and his guys worked magic it feels brand new and I couldn't believe how fast he got it back to me. The young girl at the front desk was so nice and very polite! Level 10, and its owner Pat are CROOKS, plain and simple. Pat ends every email with God Bless, let that be the first warning that he s a con artist hiding behind a facade of piety. We send Pat a Lexus AA81E 8sp transmission valve body for modification. Not only was the work ineffective, we nearly destroyed our transmission in testing it. Pat had ZERO expertise or success with this valve body, in spite of his claims to the contrary. He is a crook. When he offered to rebuild the VB, I asked him for even a single reference of anyone who can vouch for his AA81E work. He gave me a name of a Middle East dealer of his . The person has been dead for the past several years, lol. Buyer beware, stay away from these crooks.

First of all, id like to start off by telling you that I have not been paid by anyone or I am not related to Pat, his family or anyone that works at the shop. This review is %100 factual and not B.S.Now that we have that out of the way... My name is Chris and I had heard about Level10 before on the online Nissan/Infiniti car scene forums/sites, and was always intrigued by the valve body work that they do. I had talked to Pat (the owner) a few times throughout the past 2 years and finally decided to pull the trigger on getting one and a TQ converter installed on my heavily modified 2010 G37s coupe 7AT. I also asked him if he could install a new transmission mount that I bought from Torque Solutions and he said that it would be absolutely no problem to do that at no charge.I called Pat a week before, set an appointment up, drove 4 hours from MD to NJ and dropped my baby off. I got a call the next day from Pat letting me know that he found a decent amount of material in the trans fluid and asked me if I would want him to look through my trans as it probably needs rebuilt if I want, so I told him sure. (Keep in mind that my car was at 85k miles on that transmission). He sent me some pictures of the clutch packs so I could see gear 5,6&7 packs were mostly burnt up (due to them being naturally thin from factory) and asked me what I would like to do from there. I wasn't too happy about needing a rebuild, but it was better to have it done while my car was up there instead of on the side of the road. So I wasn't happy about the trans needing additional work, but I was happy knowing my trans was in the right hands. So I pulled the trigger on the bulletproof trans. As they rebuilt and turned my 7AT he kept me updated the whole time during the process and got it finished in a few short days. (I was a couple states away for a work trip for a month)Fast forward 3 weeks later at the end of August 2018. When I was coming back from my work trip, I stopped to drop my rental car off (which was convieniently right next to the shop) walked over 100 feet and picked my baby up and headed home.Now for the review on performance..I INSTANTLY felt a difference in the car. The shifting was MUCH more firm and lightning fast compared to stock. Also, I could definitely tell that the last 3 gears were beefed up and no longer slipped at all. I eased into it the first couple miles, but slowly started getting into it for the next 4 hours on my drive home. I smiled the whole way home, thats how much more reliable and quick it made my car. I definitely would not want to go back to a stock 7AT after driving my car with it rebuilt. I have about 9 thousand miles on it and have never had a problem. I am continuing to modify my car and adding more power as I go along and the transmission doesn't bat an eyelid at it.To the people who read reviews about people that have had bad experiences with this company and are on the fence about coming here. Hop right down off that fence because as long as you are friendly and polite to Pat and his team, you will be taken care of. Luckily I haven't had any issues with mine, but I definitely feel safe and backed up if I do. Some people think that everything should be error free, but that's not real world. Things happen and Pat's understands that. He is fair and extremely nice to work with. Every other review that talks about him being nice is definitely telling the truth.Sorry it took so long for me to come up with this review Pat, but thank you and your team for helping my car and I while making me feel like family!

Bought a used pick up for my side gig and trans went by the time I got home (truck was AS IS. Didn t expect to make it home anyway being that the truck cost me $500). Got a quote from them and it was more than fair for the job. They even replaced the radiator which caused the trans to go. Finished the job when they said they were going to and the truck actually drives and shifts like a new truck! Definitely recommend Level 10!Service: Transmission

My 2007 Subaru Forester had 230k miles when the transmission went out. Level 10 gave me a replacement quote at half price - for a used transmission with half the miles- as the dealership offered. Absolutely saved the day and completed the work a day early! I went to Level 10 after talking to my mechanic as he has a lot of confidence in them. I thought the synchros needed to be replaced. Pat call me the next day and said it was ready! He said the internals were perfect, and just replaced a gasket and put on a new seal. He also said the linkage was out of adjustment.I was floored, he could have charged me anything! I searched the internet for 5-6 months in need of a reputable transmission shop to repair and service my low mileage Nissan Maxima 2004 with 57k original miles. In my search Level 10 transmissions came up over and over and is the remedy! Skip the dealer and high associated cost and headache of things not being addressed or fixed the first time around. Pat the CEO, and Jedi Master of Transmissions was hands on with my service and very pleasant as well as his staff of professionals made you feel like family. I drove 1 hour 45 minutes to his shop one way because I had the confidence of past reviews and had a good feeling and it'll be worth it especi being in business over 50 years. Pat even called to check up on me to see if I had any questions or concerns and that's customer service you don't see anymore anywhere. Elaine was great and knowledgeable and greeted us with open arms. Time and Money are precious spend it wisely, go to Level 10 transmissions get it back better than new!

Fast turnaround time. I dropped my truck off for a full transmission rebuild on a Wednesday morning and it was ready to pick up Friday before noon. Had one small transmission pan gasket leak after that was taken care of no issues. Truck feels night and day better compared to what it felt like before. Now it feels like it shifts with some authority.
