Thursday morning 1-18-24 I had a dead battery on my 2017 Forester. I called Subaru Service that afternoon. I spoke to Alison in the serviced Dept. She Squeezed me in for a 3:30 Appointment that day. They replaced the battery with a new one. I was very Happy. Best of all, there was no charge. Aliison is always a pleasure to deal with.Lynn O.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently purchased a used car from a private sale and brought it in for a general inspection to be sure there were no mysterious flaws to be concerned about. Everything was fine. Took less than 30 minutes. Very friendly service. And they even gave me a print out of active warranties on the car. I am very happy with the service and the help with a few features on the car as I was not given an owner s manual. Very happy to be part of the Subaru family!Service: Vehicle Inspection

They were terrific. I was traveling from New Mexico and had an issue that needed to be fixed before driving 2000 miles home. They were prompt, thorough and so responsive. We drove home safely. Ryan, our mechanic, is very thorough. He s detailed and makes sure our WRX is in the best condition. We only go to him for our service because he s incredibly knowledgeable and we know we will always get a quality service/fix every time. I always highly recommend him. Subaru World of Hackettstown is by far the best Subaru dealership to visit for all of your needs! I came here by chance after a nearby location couldn t service my vehicle for weeks out. They were able to take me much sooner and after experiencing their level of service, I will never go back to the other location. They always have great availability for service and loaners available when necessary. Service is prompt and comfortable when coming in for just an oil change; I m sure to be in an out in a reasonable amount of time. When dealing with a repair soon after my warranty expired, the team directed me to reach out to Subaru Customer Care who was able to assist with part of the cost of the repair. Sally always provides phenomenal, familiar service whether she is checking me out, assigning me a loaner vehicle, or simply making the wait tolerable for my 4 year old son. Matt provided great service also; And even though Tyler was not my advisor this past visit, he went out of his way to help me with a service need to ensure my vehicle was running safely and properly. Not to mention my car always gets a wash post service! (What an awesome perk!) And get this: they even sent me a coupon in the mail so that I could get my next oil change free! I always have a pleasant experience at the Subaru dealership on rt 46. Matthew has helped me before, but today he was able to go above and beyond. Im thankful for him and for this dealership for always having the customers needs in mind, not trying to dig in their pockets like some other places. Subaru always does their best to take care of their customers and I'm thankful for that. The time always seems to go by so quickly and the waiting area is very comfortable with snacks and drinks available. I will always go to Subaru for my needs with my vehicle.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

The dealership had difficulty getting the necessary parts and provided a loaner. We really appreciated that. Drew was dismissive of our concerns from the start. Drew Did not return messages of any form for two months. Sally was wonderful and helpful. Matt helped us on the day of pick up and was super helpful even when there was still an issue with the car. The next day I stopped in to pick up something we forgot in the loaner and Drew thought he was being funny but was merely insulting.Service: Electrical repair

I was received in a friendly manner, and prompt attention was given to my requests. It is a relief that the rear brakes are done now as the front were replaced six months ago.However, I voiced concern that my washer fluid reservoir/ system may have a leak. My driver's seat was cracking service advisor Matt said it was covered under the warranty. He scheduled the repair and it was done quickly. Also, service advisor Drew was extremely helpful that day as he managed the repair and stayed within the timeframe quoted to me. Tyler helped me specifically with a major repair of several issues and his honesty and clarity were above and beyond and truly appreciated. He is a true asset. Subaru service center in Hackettstown is always top notch! Sally is always very friendly and gets me an appointment with no hassle. This time the repair was going to take longer and before I asked about a loaner, she had one already in place. Tyler and all the techs are very helpful and knowledgeable. Although I have a dealer/service near where I live, I always prefer driving the 55 minutes to get to Hackettstown. Thanks guys! you're a great team.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Paid for a 25,000 mile service, which was an oil change, tire rotation and multi point inspection. After paying for the services went out to the car and discovered the tire rotation was not done! I know this for fact because last week someone ran into my car damaging the rim and it was still in the same location! Initially they acted like we didn't know what we were talking about but they couldn't deny the damaged car. After we brought it to the service managers attention all we received was a pretty lame apology. The integrity of this facility should be scrutinized! It makes you wonder what else wasn't done!Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

When my car broke down on the side of the road and I was left stranded with no working vehicle to get around, they found me a loaner car to use. They checked in with me frequently to explain what happened with my car and what they needed to do to get it back running. They also provided suggestions, but did not try to push any unnecessary repairs and was respectful of my budget. My car had an engine misfire and they fixed the problem quickly and it was all very reasonably priced. Not only that, they were just incredibly kind and sympathetic throughout the whole ordeal, going above and beyond to help me. I was worried initially about the cost of repairing an older vehicle at a dealership, but they were absolutely fairly priced (you get more than what you pay for here!) and the customer service received was just incredible. Friendly customer service. Matt did make a couple of suggestions on additional work that could be done but was not overly pushy about it. They got the job done on time and right on budget. Dropped the car off overnight with a laundry list of stuff it needed taken care of, expecting it to be out of service for a week. To my surprise they called the next morning to double check the list and said it would be done the next afternoon (that same day if I wasn t picky about the tires). I could not be happier with Subaru of Hackettstown. Just recently had to replace my transmission. They diagnosed the issue quickly, kept me updated, gave me a loaner to use while it was being worked on, and washed my car before returning it. I ve been a customer of Subaru World since the previous owners of Subaru 46. We re on our 3rd Subaru and 2nd one purchased from there. We prepaid the maintenance on our current Legacy so it s been very nice to just come in, get the service completed and leave without having a large bill to pay. Drew was great! He informed me completely on what my Outback needed, and what it didn t need. Brought my car in for routine service. Not that it s a big deal, but no one went over the inspection that was performed.The thing I am not happy about is the horrid car wash that left loads of residue on my windows (have photos), plus someone had the nerve of going through my center console and broke a documents container I have in there.Overall, decent dealership, will look elsewhere for maintenance.

Drew from Subarau from Hackettstown was very professional and courteous. It was my first time at the dealer, as I recently moved to the area. Drew quoted me a price for front brakes which I deemed to be a bit on the higher side than what my old Subaru dealer was quoting in Bergen County, NJ and Drew did the right thing in order to keep a first time customer happy and maintain the relationship.
