I was shopping for my first Subaru and I was looking for something dependable., durable, and affordable. I decided to go to Subaru World of Hackettstown . When my daughter and I arrived, we were immediately greeted by Jorge. He showed in many cars such as the Crosstrek, Forester, and Outback. We loved the Crosstrek right away. Carlos Provided us we a great incentive that we could not refuse. We finally finished the paperwork with Tony with no issues. Overall our experience was great at Subaru World of Hackettstown.

I bought my 2014 Forester in 2019 when it was Route 46 Subaru. Included with the purchase was a lifetime dealer service contract, which included free oil changes, car washing and free loaner if they had to keep the car overnight. I live 39 miles away; I bought this car because it was exactly what I wanted.I don't know when the new owners took over, but I will never make that drive to them again. I was informed at my last visit that they would no longer be honoring the dealer service contracts that we paid for. The counter person was apologetic as she told me.I recently got a call from a salesman asking if I would be interested in trading my car. When I told him I would not be doing business with this dealership anymore, he tried to correct me, saying it was a limited deal. No, it was a lifetime contract. and no, I really don't care that you'll still wash my car.Thanks for saving me 78 miles of gas.I did give 2 stars instead of one because Sally and the others in Service are personable and the bagels available as we wait were very good.Update: There is a new sheriff in town and he will be honoring the lifetime service contracts. Thank you, Robert.

Service at this dealership is great! I've been coming here for years (oil/ coolant/ belt changes, regular maintenance + installation of trailer hitch). I've never had any issues with any servicing done.- Jack, from the Service Dept is knowledgeable, approachable, and in giving service advice/ recommendations -- practical. Takes the time necessary to address customer issues -- including stepping outside to take a look at the engine, if asked.- Sally contacts me and reminds me when I'm due for oil change, which I greatly appreciate.- Their on-line service booking tool is wonderful.- The dealership provides amenities such as coffee & bagels and a pleasant environment in which you can get work done on your notebook while you wait for your car to be serviced.All-in-all, this place provides the best experience I've had, inclusive of local garages.

First service experience with dealership was excellent. Matthew ensured needed services for new to us Crosstrek were complete in timely fashion. Inspection discovered an unexpected issue with a tire that would have made it dangerous for my kid to drive. Due to new tires on the vehicle from when we brought it, only one tire was required. They arranged a complimentary loaner and ordered tire that was expected to arrive Monday. To our surprise, I got a call a couple of hours later to share that tire not only arrived but installed and we could pick up car same day. Service department was excellent and we are very appreciative of the care they took to ensure a positive first time experience .

Great experience! I brought my car in at a moments notice because the oil light was on, and Matthew helped me get my car in right away. The dealership was very nice and the had coffee and bagels and creamCheese which was wonderful. Within an hour my oil was changed and tires rotated and I was good to go! Very impressed and grateful.

I had a great experience at Subaru World of Hackettstown. This was my first time buying a Subaru. I was not sure if I wanted to get an Outback or a Forester. I made an appointment and was asigned Jorge to be my advisor. He was excellent. As soon as I walked in, he greeted me at the door, was open and willing to show me both cars. I test drove them and then we sat down to talk about them. He was not pushy at all. Very kind and gave me space to think and decide. All involved in the transaction were eager to make it happen. I recommend them 100%.

I was in my way home from work when I hit a pothole and damaged my tire. I was only a short distance from the Subaru dealership ln Hackettstown so I drove there very slowly hoping that they could help me.When I arrived, the person in service reception was very understanding and helpful. She immediately made an appointment to put a boot on my car and have me information about tire replacement. Even though I was prepared to wait a long time, it took only a few minutes. There was no charge for the service.I will consider having my service done at this dealership in the future because they were sokind to me.

Since this dealership changed owners I have not had good experiences there. This Saturday was my second bad experience there. For the second time I gave them the opportunity to do business, but the treatment from their sales manager was the worst experience ever in a car dealership. I received an email with excellent conditions, but when I got there and progressed in the negotiation, it was all a lie. He started out being very friendly but ended up putting on a bad face and being unpleasant. She made me understand that he didn't know how to read the email they had sent us, I had to get up and angrily finish the conversation. They have lost a customer forever.

Matthew and the team at Subaru World of Hackettstown were incredible. He immediately responded to my warranty coverage questions, arranged a loaner car, and got the replacent process moving. (This fast and thorough service was even more impressive after waiting several days for a different dealership to even return my calls - which they never did.) Subaru World of Hackettstown is my new go-to dealership, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

After going here, I wish I was able to have purchased my subaru from here. Grade A service. Personable and not their to rip you off. Will definitely take my Subaru back to this dealership for future issues.I had to throw a donut on my car recently and needed to get it fixed right away as I had already driven around 75 miles on it. My cars relatively new, so I was hoping I could have them quickly check if I could do one tire instead of two to save some money. I called the Subaru I bought mine from and they couldn't take me that day, nor could they offer a quick check to see if my tread was good enough because "I would obviously need two you can't buy just one."I called Subaru World of Hackettstown and they offered to check my car with no appointment needed. I got there and explained my situation, they took my car right away and said they'd take a look and then I could make a decision. They said putting one on was no problem and they'd balance out the tires for me. In less than an hour I was walking out to a freshly cleaned car. They took my ruined tire out and put everything back as perfect as the day I bought the car.

This is the worst dealership. Don t even waste your time here. I bought my legacy in 2016 and it was under different ownership. I think they have gone through 2 more owners since. But this owner is horrific. The service staff don t even acknowledge you when you drop off your vehicle. You could be standing there for 5-10 minutes before anyone talks to you. And if you have an appointment, don t think about leaving and coming back later because they do the cars of the people waiting first regardless of appointment times. Plus, I was grandfathered in to the oil for life program, now the current owner is doing away with that! So there is really no reason for me to ever go back. Unfortunate though because the car is great and I have had no problems with it.Bye bye Subaru of Hackettstown!

We love our 2018 Subaru Legacy. Bar far one of the best cars we've ever had.It was needing a minor factory repair. We spoke with Jack in the service department of Subaru World of Hackettstown.He scheduled an appointment that was convenient for our busy schedules.We needed a loaner for a couple of hours. (They were very busy that morning and clearly out of loaner cars.) Jack loaned us his personal demo car.The repair was fully covered under the extended warranty.It was complete in half the time Jack expectedThe experience of dealing with other service centers has been a nightmare at times. Jack and his team were an exceptional diversion into the meaning of "Customer Service" A phrase that too often means little today.The car is, and has been, a pleasure to drive.You can't ask for more than that.Overall this was a SIX STAR event!Thank you for caring and going the extra 2 miles.

Had my brakes totally redone. The team gave me their estimate. Then called to provide me with an updated cost due to additional work to be done if I approved. I gave the go ahead and they did a nice job and completed the work to meet my timeline.

Have dealt with 3 Subaru dealerships in the NJ/NY area over my last 15 years of owning several Subarus and so far this dealership is winning when it comes to the service department. They took care of a warranty issue and I was able to talk with the mechanic after he did the work, the service advisor was helpful and even the dealership general manager asked how things were going and listened to my stories of working with other dealerships. I was impressed. The work they took care of, a bent muffler heat shield, was fixed without issue.

I went to Subaru Hackettstown for my first oil change. And Jack was very helpful with everything. Him and his team checked my car too if there's something wrong with it bcoz it was snowing those days. And they said everything was good! They just do tire rotation. It was great service very helpful and it was fast didn't wait that long.

Matthew in Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. Matthew made me feel like me being a customer really meant something. It s by far the best service I ve experienced at a Subaru dealer including this one. It was similar to how one of the better Cadillac dealers treated me when serving my Escalade but better. For context Ive owned 3 Subarus over the last 10 years and worked with 4 dealerships in the NY-NJ area. Matt should be promoted to teach and enhance the teams skills. I really wasn t expecting much and this was a pleasant surprise. Matt, thank you for exceeding my expectations.

Subaru world service was an excellent experience. Just had my first complementary oil change and I can see they provide vip services. As a bonus they washed my car. The waiting area is very comfortable and excellent bagels.

When the AC Compressor on my Impreza had seized up, I called my local Subaru dealership (Paul Miller), who said they weren t interested in working with my insurance company and told me to look elsewhere. My next call was to Subaru of Hackettstown where I was connected with Ali, who was an absolute dream to work with. The dealership worked directly with my insurance company and had everything handled in literally a matter of hours!What would ve been a stressful situation otherwise turned into the best experience I ve ever had in a car dealership. I d like to thank Aaron, Ali, Sally, Matt, and the rest of the service department for their hospitality, communication and care of my vehicle. They made me feel like family from the moment I walked in, until the moment I picked up.When it was time to retrieve my car, unfortunately the service department was closed, but they had made arrangements for a hand-off from Joe Reynolds in sales, who was a pleasure to interact with. As someone with 2 Subarus in the driveway l will obviously be seeing him for my next car purchase and suggest others do the same.Thank you all for the wonderful experience! Going the extra mileI bought my Subaru Forester at Subaru World of Hackettstown. I live about an hour away but every time I need major service I come here. Everyone is very polite and professional. The place is very comfortable, clean and plenty of tables where I can get some work done. The techs are amazing and the front desk people are awesome every time. I came here to have my touch-screen looked at since it went black after changing the battery. I had read that this happens sometimes when the battery is replaced. However the techs said it wasn't the battery and the cost was going to be pretty high. Matt came over and was reluctant to give me the bad news. After speaking to me about the cost he said he would try to see if Subaru could help out. He said it was hard for anyone to have this huge bill right before the holidays. Just the intention was great but 10 minutes later he comes with the amazing news that Subaru would cover most of the cost! I almost hugged the kid for his help! The other dealership where I had an oil change and the battery replaced basically told me the cost and either take it or leave it. Matt didn't have to do this yet he went the extra mile to get me some help. Sometimes people do acts of kindness and have no idea how much they can make someone feel good. Matt, thank you! Listening to music in my Forester is my therapy. It helps me forget about everything that's going on in my life. I was going to have to wait to get this done in a couple of months but you gave me the best Christmas present! God bless you kid!

Great cars, excellent sales rep, very welcoming personnel throughout the dealership. Only hiccup was the 2+ hour wait to get into the finance managers office resulting in a 5 hour purchase time (too long). Otherwise, all went ok.

Dealership is nice inside (clean, friendly).I came in for an oil change and tire rotation (I have an oil change for life deal with my vehicle). I waited over an hour for the oil change and tire rotation (I guess that is normal?)When I got my vehicle back it looked like it was washed but was full of dirty water stains and spots where I had to take a towel out and hand dry the vehicle by to make it look clean. It honestly looked worse then when I dropped it off. I would have rather them not have washed it and left it be.Air conditioning was on full blast.When I returned home and was reviewing the bill and work completed. They had the incorrect mileage and I paid with my credit card and not cash. It makes me wonder if they even changed my oil!I honestly only go because of the free oil change. If I didn't have that deal, I would not even bother.

Service staff is wonderful as is the customer service. Overall experience has been fantastic during the 15 years of ownership from the purchasing to the vehicle servicing from here. Very satisfied.
