We aren't from around town; from Allamuchy, or anywhere near. Our car had some trouble at the gas station on our way to New York. The owner was a very friendly and helpful person. He went through all the steps with our breakdown, and tried as much as possible to help us get back on the road ASAP. He even got the part we needed delivered to us within a half hour. If you need car service ANYWHERE within the radius of Allamuchy, stop off at this location. You will NOT be let down.

Good guy, scheduled for 8am, and that's exactly when he started to work on my car. Installed rear brakes and he didn't dilly dally, I was out of there by 9am.If you want a good mechanic at a reasonable price, Kev is your man, he won't over charge for his work. Highly recommend.Service: Brakes

Kevin is the most knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met. His customer service is superb and will always give you honesty, which is rare with most mechanics these days. He will explain to you all of your options when it comes to repairs and work tirelessly to get them done as soon as possible. Furthermore, he will do the most cost-effective repair needed, instead of doing cheap repairs, and overcharging for them. I have been coming to Kev's Auto Repair for years and will keep coming because I know I will get the best service around! Anyone who needs a repair must come to Kev's!

After years of going to the dealers for oil changes and repairs, I can honestly say going to Kev's was the best decision I have ever made. He's honest and goes above and beyond for you. He's a genuine guy and will help anyone in need, even if you drop by unexpectedly. He even repaired and fixed a couple of cosmetic features without me having requested to. He'll actually fix the problem at a fair price and won't rip you off like most dealers will. You won't regret going to Kev's!

I'm so appreciative of the service Kev provided. I encountered unexpected brake trouble while traveling on Route 80, and was so fortunate to find this honest, friendly, respectful, and highly competent professional. Kev diagnosed the problem, got a part delivered within a 1/2 hour, and made the repair efficiently and well. Kevin had my truck for eight weeks after I had it towed there. After having it there for 7 weeks he had my truck towed somewhere else to get fix completed. Would never return my phone calls and never gave me honest updates. Lied to my face and now after I picked it up I have a service warning for my 4 wheel drive but he has no idea why. DO NOT take your vehicles here!

The owner is amazing. My boyfriend and I had a flat tire and we were stuck and this guy helped us even though he doesn't work on tires. I would bring him all my business if I lived here. He is a blessing.

Total A-hole. I stopped in, to see if he could do a quick A/C recharge for me. He just said, "Put your windows down and go like hell!" and then returned to what he'd been doing.If he was too busy to get me in, he could have just said so. Instead, he made the active decision to be sarcastic and dismissive, for no reason other that seemingly to satisfy his own ego.I would not recommend this mechanic if he were the last one on Earth.
