Traded in my 2022 Honda civic for a great price and upgraded to a brand new fully loaded 2024 HR-V. From the beginning to the end of the transaction, I was treated with respect and kindness and did not feel rushed at all. Earl the sales representative was very patient and kind helping me at all levels of the deal. The GM and finance managers are all also really kind and they don t try upselling you on anything either. As a previous customer I can say I look forward to remaining loyal to this dealership due to their great customer service and their willing ability to work with you!

Bobby Nylund is the man. He answered all of my questions and met all of my concerns. Out of 5 stars, I give him a 10. If you need a new car, ask for Bobby.Kai Sun made the finalization process quick and painless. One of the nicest people you will ever meet.Matt was great too. He helped put all of the pieces together.My 9 year old son loves it there. He didn't want to leave. Very family friendly.We love our new car.

Beware of misleading pricing on used vehicles designed to lure in customers who shop online. I checked my vehicle of interest on their website and reviewed the price disclaimer at the bottom of the page. When I called to inquire about the vehicle and asked specifically about additional fees, I was told there is a $1,699 "used car prep fee" and $189 window etching fee on top of what is listed in the disclaimer. So the purchase price is actually $1,900 more than advertised, plus the standard tax/tags/doc fees. These prep and window etching fees are not listed or mentioned in their disclaimer.Don't waste your time with legalized false advertising that relies on semantics and legal disclaimers. I'm sure once you're there they'll say "it's only an extra X dollars per month". You shouldn't need to scrutinize legal disclaimers to know the purchase price of an item. Only in used car sales is this allowed. Poor business ethics.Update 1: Revised the window etching price in my message above as I may have misheard the number on the phone. Magically, after writing this review I received an email with an out the door price with all fees removed. They also tried to pretend it had nothing to do with this review. I won't support dishonest businesses so I'm going to pass. I'd recommend you do, too.Response to their reply: They continue to dig in to their now outright lie in their response below, claiming I misheard the quote. I edited the dollar amount for window etching to be fair in the event I misheard that number. Everything in my review is accurate. They refuse to respond directly to my emails asking where their website shows a "used car prep fee" or "window etching fee" for their vehicles. My screenshot from their website shows it doesn't. They're liars. Choose to do what you want with this information.

I d recommend this dealership to anyone! I ve been looking at vehicles for awhile now after my Hyundai Elantra died and I was stuck with the loan. I got in touch with an internet sales representative Mark who was great at answering questions,getting me finance numbers etc. when this civic came up on their site I knew it d be the car I was going to try and go for! My sales representative Roy was a huge help,patient and let me take my time the day I went into the dealership the guy who helped me in the finance department (I can t remember what his name was) but he was great as well! Thank you Hackettstown Honda! After talking to a bunch of other dealerships who weren t willing to help me out of my unfortunate situation I m glad I made the decision to go with this dealership!

Had a great experience working with my service manager Jeremy Lent this week! Needed a starter and was fully prepared to shell out the money for the repair. Jeremy was proactive and much to my surprise the starter was covered under my warranty! On a 8 year old car I would never had expected that! What a pleasure to work with the entire team and staff including Tom Graham thanks Hackettstown Honda you earned my repeat business

The best buying experience. Greg was our sales rep and was really great to work with. Honestly, every person I came in contact with at the dealership was fabulous. The finance manager was great, even though he is a Dallas Cowboys fan. We drove an hour and half to look at this car, and the car, people, and dealership did not disappoint. Highly recommend this dealership!

My experience at Hackettstown Honda was subpar. I took my vehicle to Hackettstown Honda for a recall. Simple easy recall. Next thing that happened was a phone to from the dealer stating that my vehicle needs $4,500 of additional work. I declined. After picking up vehicle I noticed the front driver wheel area was making noise. It turned out that the service tech did not tighten down the lugs on the driver front wheel. I was mad! This jeopardized the safety of my family. I immediately called the dealer to make them aware and was told an investigation was to happen. I tightened the lugs myself and waited to hear back from the service manager. I called twice for updates, and I never heard back.Shortly after all this a happened I had to repair the rear brakes on my vehicle. As I started the work, it was near impossible to loosen the lugs on the rear wheels. The rear wheels had to be removed for the recall work to be done. I had to use a 4 foot breaker bar to loosen the lugs. Over tightening lug nuts is not good. This service tech just tightened these lug nuts with their high-powered impact gun without care. I m sure no torque sockets were used like they should have been. What if I had a flat on the highway? I wouldn t be able to put the spare on cause the lugs were so tight my regular lug wrench doesn t have the leverage to break them free.So in the end the service tech was gracious enough to provide me with a $4,500 repair bill, lose front lug nuts and completely over tightened rear wheel lug nuts. Then having to deal with the service manager that gives you the impression that he care about what happened, but in reality he can care less. I ll never bring my car to Hackettstown Honda for service again.

As a first time car buyer I could have not asked for a better salesman than Bobby. Very personable man & super patient with every question we had. He made sure to give me time and space to think out everything & as an indecisive person I truly appreciated that. He went above and beyond in every way, making my first big purchase easy & smooth. Made my first big purchase here on a used 2020 Honda civic a couple of days ago. Something that I thought was going to be super stressful, was super easy. My sales rep, Khalil, was such a big help & seemed very down to earth & an honest person. However, I did feel like my dad & I were being judged by other sales reps, and they did mess up on my paper work. Khalil told me that my Honda is certified & on the paperwork, it said that it wasn t but Khalil got on the issue and fixed it immediately. I overall had a great experience. Will definitely consider this Honda dealership in the future. I will definitely do an updated review on the car a few months from now.

I love this dealership especially my salesperson Bobby Nylund. He answered all of mine questions and made the process really easy. He did not pressure me into buying any vehicle. Since the first time that I met him, about a week ago, he made sure I knew all the choices. He made sure that I got the car that I wanted at a very good price. Will definitely come back here and look for Bobby and I will 100% recommend him to all my family and friends. This was probably the easiest, fastest and greatest experience I ve had at a dealership.

If you go to Honda of Hackettstown to buy yourself a new car jerry is the guy you NEED to talk to. My guy hooked us up with everything we needed plus all the extras. Made everything super easy and helped get us settled in especially since it was my first car purchase and my dads first time owning his own hybrid (we bought 2) he was super great when it came to explaining and being patient with us couldn t be happier.Coffee in the waiting area is pretty good too

Buying a car can be a frustrating experience, especially when salespeople try to play games. I had an experience when I was shopping around for a car. I visited three different dealerships, all selling different brands, in search of specific things that I needed. However, I never planned on buying a car from Hackettstown Honda until I met Mr. Earl Kolodji. He is an amazing person, and I knew it the moment I met him. Mr. Earl made everything so simple by providing a clear upfront price with no hidden costs or surprises. He even brought in the manager, Mr. Thom Graham, to help me with my needs. The whole process took only an hour, and I was able to sign the papers. Seriously, everything was too simple. I highly recommend both Mr. Earl and Mr. Tom to anyone looking to buy a car. Thank you again for making the experience so easy and enjoyable.

Let me tell you about how GREAT!! my customer service experience was, I had a Subaru 2022 wrx. I m having a baby soon & I wanted to get in to a Honda that is baby friendly & good on gas etc. i wasn t going to do it in the beginning due to the fact I was nervous about pricing of my 2022 Subaru the valve I was going to get back on it, but Honda was following up every couple days to see when I would be able to bring the car in & get it appraised, explained to me that I would be meeting Kevin let me tell you about Kevin from the moment I walked in the door & I was greeted by him. I felt relief, I explained to him I want to get out of my Subaru in to a brand new 2024 Honda si, Kevin & his team worked like crazy to make it happen. I just want to say to Kevin & the team behind the scene. Thank you so much for everything you guys did to make it happen.. I have brought 3 other cars from hackettstown of Honda & EVERYTHING it has been nothing but GREAT! One more thing, even when Kevin was taking care of me & another sale man walked up to me & asked if I wanted anything to drink or snacks. Before Kevin asked me I said thank you so much for letting me know. Even when you are dealing with a sale man other sales man look out for you & making sure your comfortable, You don t get that kind of service any where else! I bought my brand new keyless Honda Oddesey 2018 35000$ from them with free oil change service couple years ago. After I bought my I thought let s do free oil change . After couple of oil change they started giving me an outrageous estimates to fix things in my BRAND NEW car. After I bought the car I have spent additional nearly 5000$ to fix things . So guys do the math before you buy cars from them. Free oil change has costed me more than if I paid for oil change some other place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike Hoffman. Remember that name as he is the BEST service manager I have ever worked with at any Honda dealer over the past 30 years. He ALWAYS returns your call. He is ALWAYS polite and goes out of his way to make sure any concern/issue is handled professionally to your SATISFACTION. I have no idea if Honda of Hackettstown knows how valuable this employee is but I truly hope he is recognized because he is the reason we continue to purchase and service our 4 Honda cars at this dealership.

The service department does a bad job and lies to you.Brought my 2015 CR-V in for 100k mi. services as indicated by the maintenance minder.Service department came back with a half a dozen recommendations for me, presented to me as though they had checked fluid levels/conditions, even though I could still see my vehicle sitting untouched in the parking bay.Then, they tried to upsell me a package 'deal' full of items not indicated by the maintenance minder.Then, the sales department called me up about buying a new car while I was still in the service waiting room.All I ended up getting from them was an oil change and the rest of the work I needed I had done at a regular shop.Honda of Hackettstown couldn't even manage that competently.They didn't bother to push a body clip on my rear bumper back into place after yanking it out for no reason.When I opened the hood to check the oil level, I found some piece of plastic sitting loose in the engine bay which they didn't bother sticking back wherever it goes after yanking it out (again for no reason).I was only checking the oil because I brought it home and surprise! the car now leaves puddles of oil in the garage.

Bob is the Man!!!! Great service and great with helping purchase my 2024 Civic Sport. Very easy going and pays attention to details. If you are looking for a new car, this is the place to go purchase it. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for good deals and good people.

Thom and Jerry were great at working with me in finding what I wanted and worked to find a great deal. While they were almost 1 1/2 hours away, it was worth coming to them. Drove out with a brand new CRV Hybrid and loving it so far! Appreciate their follow up and support in the whole process.

DO NOT GO HERE! These people care about making money by selling you services, not checking your car. Came in for multi point inspection (which means nothing because they don t actually check anything) and had my engine break down less than 2 weeks later. Nothing of which was mentioned to me during my visit. Honda, Shame on you.

I love this dealership! They are the best around! Rob Nylund from sales and Matt Furman (store manager) have been super helpful and very reasonable in terms of price and availability of cars! They did the impossible and got my into a car ASAP!! I would 100% recommend these guys! (PS., this is my 3rd Honda through them!) Also, Kaisun Gaines and Vinny Werdann from finance helped me with an amazing deal on a warranty! I also love the service department as Jeremy Lent has always been there to help! I would give this dealership more than 5 stars if possible! If you are looking for a new car, I can't express enough that you need to go to Honda of Hackettstown!

If i could i would rate my recent visit at Honda of Hackettstown a 3.5 out of 5 stars! My usual visits to the location are usually 5 out of 5 until my last visit. I was due to get my 2019 Honda Civic maintenance! The appointment booking process was a breeze quick and easy! They always have available appointments at the convenient times that i need! I arrive to my appointment and they took my care in fairly quickly! Which is excellent! I sat down in the receipt area and waited for my advisor which is normally Jeremy. For some reason i ve met someone new! Elyssa Toribio , I ve never met her before. She came up to me and asked me if i was the owner of the black 2019 honda civic and i said yes! She then proceeded to tell me to follow her , she sat me down in her office. Didn t introduce herself to me, She proceeded to tell me the following things my car needed done! And as a female the first reaction to do is call a male (since they know more about cars) which i then called my father and told him the stuff i needed done to my car which i was quoted $400 + , I explained to my father in a private conversation the things i needed and my father and i both agreed on getting certain things done. While having myfather on the phone, i verbally told Elyssa what i wanted to get done. I repeated to her what my father and i agreed on and she looked at my puzzled and as if i didn t know what i was talking about. She then stated Are you sure those are the things you wanna get done .. i feel like we are playing a game of telephone right now . I m not sure if she meant that as a joking way but i sure did not find that to be in a joking matter. I had found it to be rude and nasty especially for someone you re meeting for the first time. Elyssa then proceeded to do the remaining of the paper work and had me sit back down in the reception area. 30 mins go by and she comes back again calls me into her office and shows me a picture of what the mechanic had sent her, I suppose she was trying to have me add on additional work when i had told her in the beginning what i wanted. Fast forward to the end she hands me my paperwork , has me sign off and tells me i m all set. Doesn t guide me as to where i should pay or when i would be due to see them again. She then asked me to leave a review since it s like her report card on my experience with her and quite frankly i wouldn t be too pleased with this report card. Overall the maintence on my car went by quickly and in a timely manner. I got a complimentary car wash which is always great! For someone who works in customer service the way Elyssa carried herself would not be a way I d proudly want someone working for my company. I m hoping in the future i won t have to interact with her, my visit would be the first and last time with her.
