Rolled in w/my overheating Ram. They pulled it in right away.Jeff even occupied my toddler granddaughter while I moved things into the rental.Water pump/thermostat. They had me back on the road in less than 24hrs.Great place. Great guys. The kind of small business America was built on!

Great, honest mechanics and VERY FAST. Jeff & John are awesome & they are no nonsense. They did great work on my 63 Chevy truck & Jeep Cherokee XJ very quickly

came in for brake issues, 2012 Nissan Murano, and requested for an estimate, dropped off the car and after an hour or so, Jeff called and told me the issues and how much would it cost, which I found reasonable, gave the go signal and next morning car is ready for pick up and I'm a happy camper.Excellent experience based on their customer service, truthfulness of online reviews, fixed the issue at hand with no extra upsell and you need this and you need that...came in with a car issue and on point --got the answer and problem fixed. Excellent all the way!! Highly recommended!Service: Auto brake replacement

I ran over debris on the way to work and made it to George s just before my tire went flat. They put the spare on for me, ordered a new tire and today put the new tire on. They took me without an appt and were very reasonable and helpful. I highly recommend George s and will use them for my future needs.Service: TiresService: Tires

I have been driving for the last 17 years and have been to my fair share of mechanics and auto repair shops and I have never met a shop more honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and hard working as the guys over at George s. Literally any time I need anything done to my vehicle I KNOW I can count on them to diagnose the issue(s) AND find the source causing the issue and FULLY FIX the issue. I don t have to worry about how long the fix will hold up for before I find myself back in the shop. They fully look over my vehicle and inform me of the things that it needs and list them in order of importance that need my immediate attention. They understand that the avg person doesn t have money trees growing in their back yards and their pricing is fair and reasonable. They won t start any repairs until discussing with me and gaining my approval so when I come and pick up my car I don t have ANY surprises (at least not the bad kind... they ve definitely surprised me in past with how quickly they got the job done, how clean they left my vehicle and how WELL my car drove after being in their hands.) You can tell they care about their customers and strive to satisfy all their needs. I will never again bleed my hard earned money into the hands of mega corporations like pepboys and will gladly support this hard working team of gentlemen! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND GEORGES!!

In over 15 years of driving and car ownership, I have never had a better experience than at George's Auto Repair! Jeff was amazing to work with, pricing was very fair, and the work was completed beautifully, within an extremely timely manner. This is my new go-to repair shop and I highly recommend their business!

Extremely knowledgeable, fair, HONEST, and quality work. It's hard to find a trusted mechanic but you can 100% trust George's Auto Repair & Towing. Jeff is absolutely great. Family owned and run business and they really stand by their craftsmanship. We only take our vehicles here and is the only place we refer our friends and family to.

To get towed after my wife had a accident they didnt tell us in their quote to fix the car about how much the tow would be. Only after I asked the office mgr had to get back to me. Then they told me it costs $108 + $35 to pick up 2 pieces of fender + $25 admin fee. then $35 for the day the power was out and another $35 for two days of storage since it took that long for them to do the quote. And they only deal in cash they said.Within hours of getting the quote, I had the car towed elsewhere. The only other time i had the unfortunate experience there was to get tires balanced. I brought the car back 2-3 times. They said the tires were bad. the next place, Mivas had no problem balancing the tires.

I got scammed and they stole my money.Last time I have visited Hackettstown my car broke and I had to be towed to that garage. I've been cursing that choice ever since. My problem was the alternator which was not charging the battery. A skinny tall guy did the fix by replacing the battery (he took $200 for that) and a three cables because as to his opinion, they were rusty and probably caused problems with charging. All together I paid 650 usd for that. My car of course showed the battery problems icon after a 30 min drive. I spent the whole night replacing the alternator on my own with a friend. He asked me if I wanted to replace my front lights because they were milky. I bet he would charge me another $200 for that easily.I've got photos of the voltage on the battery and the mechanic's opinion that the problem was the alternator. They did that because they knew I had no knowledge.THE WORST SERVICE EVER.Services: Electrical, Battery

Jeff not only took amazing care to fix my Jeep but was able to do it quickly to ensure my family was safe and our lives were not disrupted by being down a vehicle. I would highly recommend you bring your vehicle to Jeff for all of your maintenance and repair needs !!!

Jeff can do it all! Maintenance, engine, brakes, tires, trans, he can do whatever your car needs to stay on the road, and he'll do it for a fair price every time, and won't lie to you. If you need somethin, he'll tell you, and if the dealership has you convinced you need something that you don't, he'll have your back every time ;) available the most convenient hours for those of us who work all day too!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Honest, upfront, fast and fair. Hard to find another shop with all these values these days. Never tried to sell me anything I didn't need or talk me into a service that wasn't necessary either. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone as I will always be bringing my vehicles there for non-warranty work!

Great mechanic! They were super friendly answered all my question and let me give my opinion without brushing it off. The work was quick despite having a few cars a head of me. All around would recommend them if you need a repair.

Having your car break down on the highway in a majority white, conservative town is frustrating and scary if you're a group of queers and POC. If it's the 19 exit on I-80 by Hackettstown, don't waste time with the autoshop right by the highway. Call George's. From the towing company he works with, to coming back at 9 pm to let us in the car to grab our stuff, to giving us a ride to the hotel we had to stay at overnight, Jeff is an incredible person. In a desperate situation he really came through and helped as an empathetic human. Give this man all your businessService: Transmission

I tried to have a car towed and they only tow for repair service at their shop. The man who answered the phone was very rude and dismissive when he found out that I wasn't going to have my vehicle fixed there.
