I can t say ENOUGH good things about John and cycle pro. We have had our fair share of bad experiences when it comes to our quad and repairs. People taking advantage or over charging. John is anything but that. He s honest and has amazing and fair pricing for the job he s doing. My recommendation is to forget anyone else your using for your Motorsport needs and just go to cycle pro. He has been our go-to and never disappoints. He loves what he does and it shows!

I brought my 2024 Suzuki DR 650 to John at Cycle Pro, when two Suzuki dealers in Northern New Jersey were unable to schedule my bike for repair. The dealer I bought the bike from couldn t guarantee the work would completed in a timely manner. They suggested I drop off the bike and they would try to get to it over the next couple of weeks!! This was a brand new Suzuki DR 650 model year 2024 with only 23 miles on it. The bike sat over the winter for approximately one month and would not start. Both dealers referenced the fuel in the bike as the culprit yeah ok when in fact, the fuel was only two months old and had fuel stabilizer put in it over the winter. I questioned the fuel being the cause and was told that the work to repair the bike would not be a warranty item on a brand new motorcycle because it had to be the fuel causing the no start!! The second dealer I contacted said he wouldn t be able to get to me in until sometime in November 2024 9 months later because he had no staff to make the repairs. The one good thing he did do though was recommend John at Cycle Pro. I called John and he said to drop off the bike asap. It was dropped off and returned to me three days later, and guess what!! There wasn t a problem with the fuel. It was debris in the fuel system that occurred during the manufacturing process that was causing the problem just like John thought it might be. He diagnosed the problem, cleaned and adjusted the carburetor, and now the vehicle starts and runs better than it ever did, including the day I picked it up from the Suzuki dealer. And FYI the gas that was in the motorcycle was used to drive the motorcycle from Hackettstown to Morristown without a single problem . Unfortunately, many dealers only sell the product but don t service it and it s people like John that make all the problems go away. I recommend if you have any kind of motorcycle problem that you go see John Aquino at Cycle Pro in Hackettstown and make sure that he gets to fix your bike and no one else. I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again John for a great experience. Five stars all the way.!!!!!!!

I have a 2000 Kawasaki ZX6R that has been in storage for over 15 years due to my divorce.. I had so much trouble finding someone to work on it due to its age everyone wanted me to just trade it in and buy a new bike but it's like another kid to me. So after calling John from cycle pro he agreed to take a look at it.. and guess what it's perfect like factory brand new back to life... I want to thank you for putting in the effort to save my bike from being traded in and now I can keep it forever I've had this motorcycle since high school and like I said it's like another kid to me I am so happy that his persistence found the problem and fixed what every other shop told me cant be done ...thank you immensely John u are a stand up biker pro mechanic shop!!!

This place is awesome! John the owner helped us out in a pinch. We needed my husband's front tire for his Road king put on the rim, mounted and balanced. We dropped the bike off at around 3:30 on 6/28 and he said it would be ready by 6/29 around 11 am. We came home after we dropped the bike off and he called us at 5pm and said it was ready! We went up on 6/29 to pick it up and he did a great job and even cleaned the bike. The price was excellent and he's a really nice guy. When you see the place from the outside it doesn't look like much but don't judge a book by its cover. Definitely worth going to him. Thanks so much John!

When I ask mechanics if they will work on my Buell they run for the hills. Not John and his crew, they welcomed me and my ride with enthusiasm. They did a regular PM, including spark plugs, not an easy feat on the Ulysses. They also rebuilt the fork shocks and set them to what they thought they should be set for me, they were spot on! I've been riding it for two weeks now and it's like I have new bike! Thanks guys!

John was great! Really knows his stuff, fair pricing, and a good attitude. I brought over my Grizzly 660, hadn't ran in 3 years. He did a complete inspection and good evaluation. I replaced the battery beforehand, but knew the carburetor was bad. He replaced that, tuned it up, and saw the brakes needed new pads too. I also thought there could have been a hole in the ATV, when riding through 3'-0" of water, the belt would start sliding. I was sure that I'd need a new part. John instead noticed that the seal was bad instead. So rather than buying a new cover and paying for the install like I thought I'd need, he sealed the plastic... at no charge. When calling, be prepared to have to wait before dropping off your bike or ATV. This is not the only review of praise, many have had good experiences, so I had to wait a couple days before he even had room. So unless you're in an emergency where you need next day work, wait for the excellent service.

I have never been comfortable taking my bikes to a shop especially after previous experiences. After reading these reviews I took my Banshee to Cycle Pro and met John. I was convinced that my bike had major damage and he could have easily taken advantage of that. Instead, John did the right thing and made a few inexpensive adjustments and the bike runs faster and stronger than it ever did. If and when my bikes need extensive repairs, I would be happy to spend my money at Cycle Pro!! I am glad I found a local bike shop that I can trust and recommend.

I was referred to Cycle pro by my neighbor who race bikes. I was looking to upgrade my suspension and was not sure if I needed both rear and front changed or upgraded ( triumph tiger 800). I reached out to Cycle pro through there website message with my info. John looked up my bike info and called with answers to questions. Solid communication!! Dropped off my bike, the bike only needed front suspension, I pick-up the bike yesterday, Super Happy. Highly recommend Cycle pro.

A great and trouble free experience. As soon as you meet John, you know you took your bike to the right place. The shop is out of the way for those in northeast Jersey, but worth the trip. I had the front forks serviced and rear shock adjusted on my VFR800, and it feels like a new bike. The price was very reasonable and it was done in half the time originally quoted. Thanks!

Giovanni is a great mechanic, and very knowledgable about every aspect of motorcycles. He has wonderful turn around time and is always willing to work with a customer's timeframe needs. He makes great suggestions for suspension and tires, and is known by the local dirtbiking community as a true suspension guru!

John of Cycle Pro is the best of the best. Extremely knowledgable with all powersports. He has done his research as all the products he stocks (oil, filters, tires etc) work perfect in our area. Always there to help out and is the only person I trust to work on my bikes.

I just finished up my first visit to Cycle Pro LLC today and what I can immediately say is am I glad that I did!My troubles started when trying to find a reliable place to bring my motorcycle near Hackettstown, I didn't want to be forced to bring it to a Kawasaki dealer because they normally discourage working on machines with outside parts (personally purchased) and the prices they charge are outrageous!!If you are looking for a place that does honest, credible, and reliable work take your motorcycle or other machine to Cycle Pro LLC, you will be happy you did. After receiving and riding my bike home I felt all the improvements made while at Cycle Pro, and even got a follow up call from John ensuring I enjoyed the ride and feel of the machine. (Talk about service!!)If you need to have work done to your bike, take it here! Trust me, you will be glad you did!!2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650Work Done: Tire Swap, Tire Balance, Chain Adjustment, Chain Lubing, Clutch Lever adjustment, Rear Brake Pedal adjustment

These guys are scam artists, Gio or John sold me a Ducati Monster for $5k that stopped working right after I drove it back to NYC. Of course I was happy that this motorcycle preformed well enough to get me home in one piece. After the drive home she wouldn't get into gear and the clutch lever stopped working. Of course John told me I had to bleed the clutch line. Seriously! He sold me a bike that was not in good working condition to begin with. When I took the time to go ahead and bring the bike back to the shop for my refund, John Aquino shook me down and only gave me $4500 after he worked on the clutch line for an hour. As soon as I pulled out he called me back to tell me that they FIXED the bike. He wanted to charge me for the repairs. Needless to say the 2007 mint condition Ducati Monster 695 is back on the market. Please proceed with caution. I know I will filing my small claims charges promptly.
