If you are looking to have the best diagnostic and mechanical work completed on your Mercedes Benz, look no further.I brought a one owner 33 year 500SL barn find with 47,000 miles to Classic Workshop, in just 3 weeks, they had this beauty running like she was brand new.Since receiving the car, I have driven it from New Jersey to my snowbird location in San Diego; the car made it without even a hiccup.Classic workshop, had a tremendous amount of work to bring this baby back to new, and they did only what was necessary and stayed in touch with me the entire way, advising me of the necessary work to be completed; which was also completed at a very fair price.I am in my late 50's and have had at least 2 old German automobiles on the go every 3-4 years; during the past 30+ years, I have NEVER met a shop that could walk the walk and talk the talk on every job they took on.Look no further my friend, just take your old Mercedes here and know that it couldn't be in better hands anywhere on the East Coast of the USA.

As a Mercedes Benz owner and enthusiast for over 40 years, and having had my old cars serviced at many of the local (and distant) MB shops, the fact that a shop catering to pre-1995 MBs a few miles from my house was exciting! Basic care of the cars I've always managed on my own and have always been cautious about where my cars get serviced and by whom. Having met Jaime through the Mercedes Benz Club a few years back and hearing his name pop up in various YouTube videos by other well respected individuals in the Mercedes service and sales community, I have to say that you cannot go wrong with Jaime and Classic Workshop. From his clear explanation of the car's systems, learned from years of knowledge from hands on 'wrenching' , and diligent attention to detail due to his engineering background, I can honestly say he's the best. From the work he did on our '61 220 SEb (which has never run better) to the help getting my '95 E320 Cabriolet sorted out, no corners are cut making sure that you as the owner clearly understand your car's needs. His shop is big, bright, clean and well organized and his team members (shout out to Ike and Ronnie) are knowledgeable and courteous. If you own an old Benz, Classic Workshop is the place; you won't ever be disappointed!

If you re in love with your classic Mercedes. You ll love Classic Workshop. Jamie is a genius when it comes to Vintage Mercedes. An art that the dealers have lost long ago.

My wife and I met Jamie during the grand opening of his shop. We called him and made an appointment for our 1989 420SEL which had intermittent runability issues. I know these cars well, and did everything I could possibly do, but reached my limit. Jamie fixed the issues within a few days. He kept the car with my permission and drove it to be sure it performs flawlessly. The car runs smoother, feels more powerful and agile and idles like glass after the visit to "the doctor." Highly recommend, will be back.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

I've been seeing Jaime for my vintage Mercedes-Benz repair needs for the last 5 or so years. I'm thrilled that he's opened Classic Workshop to share and make available to the public his deep knowledge and repair savvy on these classic vehicles. Put simply, there is no one else in this area who provides the level of care and commitment to ensuring that these vehicles stay on the road and are repaired correctly. He's helped me in a pinch multiple times, and has helped me revive vehicles that would have long ago had to come off the road and into disrepair . If you have a classic Mercedes-Benz (pre-1996) and are not familiar with Jaime Kopchinski and Classic Workshop in Hackettstown, New Jersey, you should give him a call.Service: General repairs & maintenance
