The owner Mike (Mecit) is dishonest and a liar. When you go for repair he charges too much mostly even more than what dealerships charge and on top of that he does something to the car so you have to keep going back to him for repairs. If you go to him once you ll keep going back!!

Mike s Mechanic has been servicing my cars for many years. I always receive the best service from Mike. He really takes extra care to make sure my car is safe for me to drive. This is very important because I am an older driver and safety is my first concern. Bringing my vehicle to MP performance was the best move I ve ever made when it comes to car repairs.Mike really knows his stuff. Everything I asked him to repair, he was very professional and looked into it, took control of it and repaired with no issues. He is an excellent mechanic!! I have known Mike for 8 years. I have been taking my cars for service to him since. He is the only mechanic in Bergen county who works on major issues such as engine rebuilding, trans issues checking, engine diagnosis etc. Mp Performance is the best in the area with reasonable price and a great service. I've recently had work done on my car there. The owner himself actually takes time to explain the situation and alternatives to solve it. This is the first honest and decently priced mechanic shop in the area that actually gets the job done. You'll get treated with respect and not have to break the bank there. Highly recommend them for your automotive needs!

after another mechanic told me my engine was gone and it would cost 3-4 thousand to fix it, I took it to Mike. For 1400 dollars I got the timing belt changed, the oil and antifreeze changed and he even went further by fixing a bumper that was hanging. He even helped me with payment plan.That's what I call a great mechanic who will continue to have my business. Thanks to Mike.

I met Mike back in 2010 when I had my Hyundai xg350. He did a good job maintaining my car. I actually stayed, doing business with him for the next 10 years. He has serviced my PASSAT and now my BMW. One of the only mechanics around that was willing to do a difficult and time consuming job on my Mercedes E63 AMG. My car always runs like new when he s done with it. And by far best prices around. The service here was excellent, Mike worked closely with me, and made certain I was updated with everything. I took the car in on Memorial Day and I was so happy he was open. We all do need a mechanic, right? However we are usually skeptical if we are paying the right price for the service we are getting.I have been going to this place for 2 years and would strongly recommend. Mike is a very honest and hard working mechanic who would come up with budget friendly solutions!!!

Ever need a place to take your car without a doubt it s this place !!! They re very professional, take really good care of your car. Mike and his service is EXCELENT, Top Quality! I travel alot due to my profession (civil engineer), bring my escalade everytime I need. First time my engine failed, spent 3k in englewood cadillac, still didnt work. Thanks to Mike, took care of in 2 days, supplied with service car for me and for my kids. Saved me tons of trouble. My car wasn t going into gear. I went to him and he didn't fix my car properly. When I got there to pick up my car it was only going in reverse when gear is on park, reverse, drive, neutral, basically any gear you put it in it would go in reverse and he still asked $650 for doing this terrible job.

This shop is bad a scammer. I brought my Honda odyssey w battery light on d dashboard he said it has bad alternator this was around December 2016 after 3 months lights came on again after I paid 410 labor and parts .we called he said he will look at it. I told my husband not to bring it there anymore coz he also couldn't fix our subaru forester after paying him thousands of dollar almost 1700 already. I brought it to my old mechanic in hackensack and he said if he had put in new alternator this would have never happened .

Best Liar. Charge you more, doesnt fix on time. He said he used oem parts, later you find out he put used parts on your car. Completely disaster. Never recommend!

After dealing with a lot of mechanics and wasting time and money on repairs to fix the issue in my car and after all the repairs that I have done in my car unfortunately the issue was still the same, I tried MP performance, they gave me an excellent service and excellent work in my car and they fixed the car issue, they are expert and the owner is such a nice friendly guy, I highly recommend MP performance.

I was stuck with my van The weather was rain and snow I was soaking, freezing Mike took care of The towing lend me the cash to pay the towing Took me in to his office to warm up and he took care of my van immediately The price was reasonable I am a total stranger to Mike this is called service Plus humanity thanks 1 million
