JJ Excel Auto Body, as one customer previously stated in a review, is a hidden gem. Since relocating to New Jersey, my car has been in two accidents. Using a car repair that s a competitor, the work was done well, but it was the minor damage caused by the repair shop that irritated me the most (scratches on my tinted windows, streaks of chemicals on the finished paint, or even loose parts that weren t tightened, etc.) Therefore, I needed to find another auto body repair shop, just in case.I drive past JJ Excel Auto Body daily, and I ve seen their finished work. When my car was recently hit, I decided to go in and discuss with Andy (manager/owner) the problems I had with the previous repair shop, and that I was looking for a new repair shop that could provide quality and a good customer experience. Andy and his team are on point! Factoring in my previous experience, with a neighboring auto repair shop, Andy made share the quality of work and the customer experience was at 100%, and it was. If you are looking for a quality auto body repair shop, go to JJ Excel Auto Body, and tell them that Vincent sent you. You won t regret it. Those guys are great!Thank you, Andy and team!

I started recommending JJ to all my friends because he was very smooth on the phone and he appeared a nice person. I was actually very excited! Thinking I finally found my mechanic!! Boy, I was wrong! All my friends that took their car here complaint that their car problem persisted after their visit. My car also started to have the same problem that I initially came in for. For ex, i came in here because my rear bumper needed fixing. After about 5 month, the bumper is sticking out like an ugly thumb. Yes the mechanics here are not very good and AJ is adamant when I asked about this. Of course AJ will not charge you for coming back, but their pricing is not cheap and if you are not willing to waste your time which i believe is valuable then I would not recommend this place.

Let's just say this autobody shop is a "hidden gem" I'm happy I now know about. From the moment I called to inquire on getting my vehicle repaired, to the day I picked my vehicle up, this shop provided the professionalism everyone deserves. Andy was patient, transparent, empathetic and provided an overwhelming calmness/assurance that my vehicle was in good hands. I can say that I've truly found a "home" in case I ever need autobody work in the future. This shop understood the assignment and got the job done in such a timely fashion, I was impressed with the work, timeliness and attention to detail these guys put in to making my vehicle look new again. I want to publicly thank all of the staff and especially Andy for making a stressful situation into a happy ending. Keep up the fantastic work fellas!!! I'll be recommending family & friends your way

My family highly recommended this body shop after someone hit my car in the parking lot and left a 2 inch scratch on the door handle. I debated using touch up paint or going to a body shop - and I'm so glad I went with the latter! This place did the job for a great price and my car was vacuumed, washed and clean when I picked it up too!Service: Painting

A truck swiped my mirror so I got a couple of estimates in the area to get it fixed. This place was recommended by a family member so I went to check it out. The guy I met was really friendly and was upfront with their pricing. I felt comfortable dealing with them and would recommend them to other people.

I had the passenger side of my car scraped by a car while parked. They repainted that area it looks brand new. I can't even tell where the hit was at.
