John the front desk man has always helped me. Always being truthful and honest. I've been going here for years and I'm confident that you guys do a good job every time. Every time I try to go anywhere else I have to come back to Firestone because only you guys do it right. On top of which you guys save me a bunch of money I recommending exactly what I need and not a bunch of extras. That's how I know that the guys here are honest good people and I will always recommend just as I have been, for people to go to Firestone

Very happy with the customer service. Just it took way too long. I was told one hour and it took 2. But very satisfied with the results and the honesty which is the most important. Car feels good . Thank you so much. John is exceptionally great. Please give him a raise or an employee of the month award.Thank you

SCAMMERS! I made an appointment for an oil change since it is close to my work and could get it done on my lunch hour. Even better they were running a sale, $29.99 for a conventional oil change. Got there, gave them my name and car information and was asked it i am using full synthetic oil. I said no, a conventional oil change is what i would like. Was then advised that unless i get fully synthetic oil they would not do my oil change. I advised that i have owned the car for 6 years, bought new, and never have used full synthetic. He said his program recommends full synthetic and he has to go by the recommendation. I left, went down the road to Jax Oil Change and had no issue, even got a free car wash. Bothered by this i decided to look into the recommended oil for a 2017 V6 Mustang and low and behold is 5W-20! What i have been getting this whole time. I don't know if they just didn't want to do an oil change or because i am a women thought they could upsell and take advantage of me but either way it is repulsive. My advise - go 2 miles down the road to Jax and get your oil change there.UPDATE - After responding to my review, they asked that I email them to explain what happed. I did so, and was told that a store manager would reach out to me because they want to make it right and have happy customers. It has been a week and not surprisingly no call or email from the store manager. I stand by my review that this place tries to scam people into services that cost more. STEER CLEAR ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMEN.

I ve gone here because of its convenience to my job but never fully happy with them. My last experience unfortunately was the last straw. I went in for just over 2,000 dollars of work oil change brakes and some misc front end work. About ten days later my check engine came on and on my way home I felt I ran over something and the car ceased to run. My oil drain bolt fell out and all the oil drained. Long story short has to get towed and had a local garage fill the engine and get the system up and running. The sudden loss of pressure ruined a sensor which I had to replace. The thread on the oil pan was fine most likely the bolt was loose. The clincher is that the garage mentioned that there was NOT synthetic oil in the car (the little that was left), which totally pisses me off. Totally dishonest bunch ripping you off.

I wouldn't go back here if they paid ME to worked on my car. I dropped my car off for tire mounting, balancing, and an alignment. I brought tires in from tire rack, I don't know if that's why I got the terrible costumer service.When I handed over my car it had all four valve stem caps, when I got it back with new tires on there were none. I guess they couldn't be bothered.My steering wheel is slightly off when traveling straight after the alignment was done. That means the wheel wasn't completely straightened when the alignment was performed. Again, sloppy work.After noticing these things when I got home I decided to check if my wheel lock key was put back in the correct location. After searching the whole car I could not find it anywhere. For those who do not know it's a wheel nut/bolt that has been be taken off with a special key. It's used to make it harder to steal wheels.I called the next morning to ask about my wheel lock key because when I realized it was missing the place was already closed. I was told the technician is off and his tool box is locked so they cannot check. The second day I spoke to the manager, George, who told me he will send a message to the tech, he was off again, and call me back with any info, that was 9am. He never called me back, I called him back around 2 pm to ask what was going on and he said, I told you I'll call you tomorrow when the tech gets here, first thing in the morning. On the third day, he never calls me, so I call at 1.30pm and he said they found it, he tells me again, I told you I'll call you. So during this whole 3 day exchange the manager acted as if I was inconveniencing him and never an apology for anything.Meanwhile I was the one inconvenienced, if my wife got a flat in those three days the only option would be to tow the vehicle.

George the manager is knowledgeable, professional and took his time with me and other customers. Answering all questions without hesitation or rushing the customer. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle was right on point and most of all knowledgeable. I totally recommend this Firestone location for all your vehicle needs.

Took about 2 hours for an oil change that I scheduled ahead of time. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Got the job done right so I guess that is what's most important.

Easily the worst Firestone I ve ever gone to. I asked them to do 4 wheels balance and alignment. The horrible mechanic forgot to do wheel balance for both of my front tires. When I found out and confronted them, the cashier had the nerve to tell me my both clip-on balance could have been flew off within 1 month. Terrible service piled up on lies.

Waste of time - why accept a customer's appointment if you're going to leave their car sitting for hours after appointment time. I'd rather be told that you're too busy upfront. The only good thing is the responsive front desk staff

Stopped in for emergency tire repair as I had used this dealer a number of years ago with, what I remembered to be, good experience. Charlie, the service manager, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He squeezed me in for the repair and they did a good job at a very reasonable price. Nice waiting area with coffee, TV and seating for ten.They have a huge selection of tires and 10 service bays.

NEGATIVE 5 STARS!DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE IN HACKENSACK FOR SERVICE!My last visit with Firestone in Hackensack was a disaster. My car was at the Hackensack location to get a wheel alignment, oil change, and tire rotation. My car was there for 22 hours, and the only service I received was a tire rotation. WHY???I have been a Firestone customer for at least 30 years, and I am extremely disappointed with the service and treatment. I am looking forward to discussing this incident with upper management.Update 2/19/2024.... After submitting this post and a complaint directly with Firestone corporate, no one has contacted me to discuss the issues. Funny, they quickly responded to the post to show their concerns but no actions afterward. I called back after a week and was told someone would contact me within 2 business days. Based on my calculations, it's well past 2 business days, and I've not received a call.My advice to Hackensack Firestone customer is to go to someone else! They are not the same establishment.

Called and was able to get a quick appointment for slow leaking tires. They did the work in a couple of hours, and everything was smooth. Special thanks to Joachim for his professional and friendly attitude.

Poor customer service at Firestone Hackensack I give Firestone Hackensack one star out of five for their customer service. I had an appointment at 7 am, but I was still told that I had to wait for another car to be serviced first. The employee who attended me was the only one working there, and he was very lazy and rude. He did not wear a name tag, and he smirked at me in a condescending way. He did not care about my time or my needs. He made me feel unwelcome and unimportant.To make matters worse, I waited for over three hours and no one came to at least let me know how long it would take. I was completely ignored and neglected. I overheard the employee giving different names over the phone, so I don t even know his real name. Was it Christian, John, or Randy? He was clearly lying and trying to avoid accountability. I was very upset that I wasted more than three hours of my time. Why did I make an appointment if they were not going to honor it? I don t think changing two tires should take this long. It was a simple and straightforward service that they failed to deliver.Firestone Hackensack needs to improve their customer service urgently. They need to train their staff to be more respectful and professional. They need to update their online system to reflect the actual availability and priority of their appointments. They need to apologize and compensate their customers who have been mistreated and inconvenienced by their poor service.I hope that Firestone Hackensack will take this review seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their customer service. Otherwise, they will lose more customers like me.

This Firestone is very good..John is soo great! He always finds a deal..N I love Ricky the mechanic...I still think John deserves to become a manager..He really cares about people! And that's most important...The prices ...I wish we're a wee bit cheaper.but..They are good..

I was given a list of repairs that I was told needed to be done totaling over $2000. None of them made sense because I hadn't experienced loss of oil, vibration/shaking when driving, misfires, etc. I picked up my car and brought it to the Subaru dealership that did my 60,000-mile check-up in October only one repair needed to be done of the 8 that Firestone listed. I will never go back to the Firestone in Hackensack, or any other Firestone. Unfortunately, Firestone is now blatantly using scare tactics to jack up the bill. Shame on Firestone!

Me and my fianc� came to Firestone not to long ago. And there are two guys in there. One is eating chips and the other on the phone. So tell me why? My fianc� ask him for assistance with my mothers jeep. The guy with the chips says hold on I be right with you. This is how you treat your customers? You could put down your chips and work with us. And the other guy on the phone wants to look at him up and down with a disgusted face. DON T EVER COME HERE !

The Hackensack Firestone always take care of our vehicle needs immediately and are always looking out for our best interests. I had a flat tire that I needed replaced and they took care of it the same day I brought the vehicle in. We have a warranty on the tires and that was helpful in keeping the bill much more reasonable. They also informed me that I need to replace the rear brakes which they did the same day as well. The team at Hackensack Firestone is always accommodating, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Hackensack Firestone.

Appointments should not be offered if they will not be honored. I made an appointment for 10.00am and dropped off my vehicle at 8.30am so that it would be ready by the time I got out of work at 2.00pm. Unfortunately, my vehicle was not ready and instead I still had to wait until 7.00pm for it to be completed. I am glad that Firestone Hackensack closes at 7.00pm or else I am sure I would have had to wait even longer that day. I was more than unhappy with the service.

These guys are absolutely awful. They ll try to sell you things you don t even need. I ve used them once so far and it s a nightmare. And my friend had the same experience at another location. It s a company wide issue. You guys need to be trained on customer service .

I used to LOVE this location, but this past time the customer service was horrible I went for a tire rotation and they stated I needed a wheel alignment and new tires There was no other explanation and when they charged extra for New Jersey fees it was hidden behind a car wash bucket Very poor poor service

Made an appointment online for some work. Car was worked on as promised and was done within the hour.No complaints.Place is large with several garages. Lots of guys working on vehicles.Special thanks to the Manager Charlie- a good guy who provided excellent customer service. He needs a raise!

I went here for the first time. They changed my breaks, routers and made an alignment for my suburban SUV. For this they kept my car for 1 day and they charged me $1700. After the fact my breaks are making a loud skreaching noise, which is likely a result of them using bad quality/ cheap breaks. I waited for the noise to pass. When I came back to tell them to fix the issue, for a whole day they kept my car again. And when I called to see if it was ready they claimed they didn t hear any noise from the breaks and whatever I might be hearing is totally normal. They also lost my key and couldn t find it for a half hour.I still have the noise, issue wasn t fixed! I am going to contact the main center now and dispute the charge for the breaks. Don t go to this place, don t waste your time and money! They don t deserve your business.

I went to this facility because I needed breaks and routers. It was labor day and this facility was the only one open. How can you get breaks and routers wrong as a mechanic? If you can't do break you should not be opened. Just sell tires. Jequin greeted me he was very nice. Left my car. Charged me 1200 for breaks and routers and immediately when I left I heard a weird grinding and knocking noise when I used my breaks. I pulled into sears and was going back to firestone but my boyfriend said it takes breaks time to settle in and you would hear a noise. The internet said the same and so did George when I called the facility. Then Tuesday I am driving to work and my breaks were smoking. Someone said they didn't take the time to wipe the oil off the rotors which caused the smoke. I also noticed to break my break would go all the way down and was soft. I had breaks done on another vehicle and the minute you tapped it it would stop. Go back to the facility 9/9/2023 and again I speak to George who says breaks have chemicals that need to adjust and can take weeks and that is why I am experiencing what I am experiencing, I asked George since he was the one who did my back breaks to check my car out. He said he would but he didn't. The job was given to another kid. I saw him drive my car then come back and put it on the lift. He took something off my car and threw it in the trash. Then he drove the car again and put it on the lift. So now I am concerned. I walk over since George didn't seem to want to budge and he says he has to speak to George that he thinks its the rear differential. Then all of a sudden a bunch of mechanics come running to my car. George included. And my car is taken off the lift put in the front and I am handed the keys, Not one person wanted to explain to me what happened. Now I am crying so upset because you can tell I am being screwed. I go to George and tell him to tell me what's going on with my car and he says your car is on the lift. Meanwhile its at the front door. I told them I want a work report on what they did today. Now the manager in training gets involved and writes a work order that says rear differential problem not caused by break installation. That is such an admission of guilt because no one would write that. He tells me it's because I have 2 different tires in the front and 2 different tires in the back which is why this happened. That it can't come from breaks and rotor installation. I take the car to Nissan and I tell them what happened and they said that George the manager who did my back breaks may have hit the rotors too hard when taking them off and caused a problem and that is why I heard that noise when I left immediately. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN ALONE. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND GEORGE THE MANAGER THE BIG TALKER HE IS IS A LIAR.

I've been a customer for years, with different cars. It's a busy location, so you have to understand that you might not be greeted at the door as soon as you walk in. And that is ok! The mechanics are always up front, explain to you exactly what needs to be done. They do not try to up sale you on unnecessary items. If they cannot do the work (I needed something that they didn't have the equipment for) they will point you in the right direction. I highly recommend making an appointment because then your car will be taken care of before walk ins.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic
