I don't live in the area and I wanted to have a used car checked out. I looked up mechanics near the dealership and C&L Auto came up with the best reviews, so i brought my vehicle over for a pre purchase check. All I can say is that the reviews are definitely true. Louis did a great job helping me out. Took care of all my concerns in an a great and affordable way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good repair shop.

I went to Carlos' C&L Auto repair a few times in the past two years. I used to go to Mike's in Hackensack on Passaic street, but unfortunately they moved out and they recommended Carlos to us. Carlos gave us the fair prices each time we needed their help. For small things, we went there for tire repair. For big things, we went there for heat hose replacements. They were very reasonable. This is a family run auto shop, giving me the warm, comfortable and reliable feeling. Recently, I changed my transmission fluid there. Thanks!

I took my car there because the dealer said I needed a new alternator. C&L checked it first, explaining the test and showing the result that it was still good. Then, they checked the battery and that was the problem. I didn't have to wait long for them to replace it.I'd definitely go back.

Carlos is a very honest and accommodating man. I have had multiple maintenance jobs and repairs done at his shop. He has taken me in even at last minute and has been able to bend over backwards to accept certain requests for work on my car.He even assisted in towing my car from where I broke down to his shop at a price that was much cheaper than had I called for a tow truck company. I feel confident that I am getting quality work and paying a fair price for my repairs when I bring my vehicle to his shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair

This is my second time taking my Subaru to Carlos and Luis! The service is prompt, they are efficient, knowledgeable and work hard and very just with the charges. They are also very kind people. I stopped by this local business a few weeks ago to get an oil change. Carlos and his son were super friendly and accommodating. I mentioned to Carlos that my schedule was limited and he was able to work with me. Pricing was fair and I appreciated the professionalism and hospitality that was offered to me by Carlos and his son when I went to pick up my car. I will be referring Carlos to anyone who needs auto work done and will continue to support this local business!

Carlos and his sons went out of their way to help my daughter when she experienced major issues with her car. Professional, polite, and did an excellent job at the quoted price. I was helped immediately when they opened. I had my small children with me, they made us comfortable in the office so we could have air conditioning while waiting for the breaks on our car to finish. They got the parts quickly, got the work done efficiently and the price was fair. I would definitely recommend using C&L Auto Repair!

Carlos is one honest mechanic, let me tell ya, my truck has been skepticized by so many mechanics it s crazy, people will be doing unnecessary work to price gauge and get paid, NOT HERE, Carlos sees what s wrong, and fixes it, done. no questions asked except your permission to do the repair. Highly recommend if you re in the Bergen county area, I have never returned with a complaint and he has more than fair prices.

I highly recommend anyone that needs to get their vehicle serviced/repaired to bring it to C&L Auto Repair. I needed a new exhaust and went to multiple mechanics. C&L was the only one that told me that they can get it replaced by the end of the day and at the cheapest price too.(1/4 of what dealership quoted me for) They worked late to ensure that I got my vehicle back by the end of the day.Service: Exhaust

Excellent! Went here on a whim and I'm very glad I did. They were very friendly and helpful in diagnosing my car's issue and were upfront with pricing. Will go back!It shares the lot with the Gulf gas station.
