I used to take my cars here when I was a a teenager and into my early twenties. Back in the summer, instead of doing my own oil change I decided to take advantage of the oil change and car wash. That was a huge mistake. When I decided to change my oil today on my next scheduled change, my oil filter was cranked on so tight that the filter had a dented crease in it. I had to use filter pliers to eventually get it off. It was so tight, I cracked the filter along where the original dent was while attempting to get it unscrewed which then allowed oil to drip all over. Ridiculously unnecessary to put it that tight. Luckily he didn't crack it originally and just dented it. I've included pictures to show the dent. The damage above the dent is all from my attempts to get it off.

Brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was able to pull right into the bay and they got to work. They tested my battery, filled & checked all fluids. The worker who performed my oil change took out my air filter and was honest that it did not need to be changed (usually all places try upselling you an air filter). He also made sure everything was clean and intact before letting me leave the bay. Tire rotation was completed in a timely matter. All lug nuts torqued to the correct poundage. One thing that stood out was everyone on their team was on the same page. The communication throughout the process was great. I was able to stay in my truck for the whole oil change. They did a good job and would go back in the future.

I called Valvoline because I have never been there before and wanted to make sure I knew what their process was and that they had the proper parts and equipment. After telling them the make and model of my car, they insured me over the phone that they had the parts and had expertise on how to handle the oil change for my car. after getting there and staying in line for about a half hour the mechanic opened my oil filter compartment and informed me that they did not have the right oil filter to complete my job. They then close the hood and when the hood didn t close realize they left a wrench inside my hood area. I could ve stayed and fought with them but It seem that their whole staff was basically 20 year olds, I didn t see the point. I figured I would take it up with the corporate office and the Better Business Bureau.

Just got my truck done. It came out just as dirty. Paid platinum, had to run through a second time and the woman selected bronze. So basically everything I paid for as far as wax was washed right off. Still soap stuck all over my new truck. Ridiculous.

Drain plug was over tighten and creaked oil pan where bolt seats. Needed new oil pan. Splash guard was not installed correctly three time and after oil leaked on it had to replace. Also the splash guard from rubbing on the road was all banged up.missing hardware.replaced splash guard. All said and done had to put out over 500.00 I am never going back. Good luck to those that do use them.Service: Oil change

I loved that I sat in my car while everything I asked was done & everything shown to me as needing replaced..couldn't be easier..The people at this Valvoline, in Glassboro, NJ - very courteous, more than polite & Very efficient. And got a coupon for free basic car wash which I really needed too..Highly recommend them...And also liked that a woman worked there snd didn't feel intimidated

I just want to say this location is amazing I've been to three different locations and this one is the best thus far. I actually drove out of my way to go to this location the location I went to last time I felt really uncomfortable, so I'm really glad I chose to drive to this location! I had a female I do not remember her name she had pink hair. I've never had an oil change that was so informative as this one even from other Valvoline locations. I left feeling good confident and learned about things I didn't know about my truck today. She was extremely detailed and very thorough she made sure everything required was completed and done correctly.Service: Oil change

First timer, and I had a great experience! I arrived early for the oil center, the car wash attendant offered the use of the free vacuum service while I waited and it worked perfectly. Store Manager Jim was awesome, helpful and professional. You cannot go wrong with a free car wash as well! I will be back regularly.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I went to Valvoline Glassboro in April 2023 to get my oil change before a road trip to Connecticut and my undercarriage fell off. When I complained to Valvoline about the issue, they did a conference call with the Service Manager, who stated that it was on my account notes that my car was missing screws to the undercarriage during my last three oil changes and yet not one Associate mentioned it to me. The customer service and Service Manager was awful, management didn t care and I would never recommend them to my family, friends or colleagues again!!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I have been going to this location every time I needed an oil change and found it to be convenient and being able to wash my car afterwards. I m so frustrated and upset that I don t see myself returning. I just got an oil change two weeks ago and I got an alert on my car saying I need an oil change yesterday 1/21 and I ignored the alert as I obviously just got one recently. Today 1/22 while I was driving in the rain, my car did a big hesitation while driving and the oil canister can up as an alert with the hesitation. I went to auto zone and there was no oil in my car. I had to ask auto zone to put oil in my car because I don t know how to. I paid for a service that I didn t receive and I was so scared driving car with kids in it. I have never neglected my vehicle and take good care of it. I m not due for an oil change per the sticker for another 2500 miles. Called at 4:10 and the location was closed but spoke to a woman named iya with corporate and she said she was putting in a escalation email for the location. No idea what that means but I no longer trust this location and frustrated I paid for an oil change I never got.

After my previous oil change at a different business, I had been adamantly avoiding mechanics because of the gross comments the techs made. (Literally hit on me the entire time while I sat there uncomfortably)This experience and I mean experience was completely different. Every single tech that worked on my car was incredibly polite and considerate. Any time they had to open the door, reach into the car, or check something they asked for permission with a please. No creepy vibes. It was a super fast oil change, I got a free premium car wash after. Literally the best experience at a mechanics ever.I will 100% be a returning customer.Service: Oil change

I ve been to different Valvolines throughout NJ for our business and personal vehicles. And I can stay this is my favorite location to visit. The guys are always professional and keep a smile on their face even while Answering my (likely obvious) questions. Jim the Asst. Manager helped me out today with a young man can t recall his name but they were great even with my tire rotation that I felt badly about since it s a job they do outside and today was cold & raining (didn t know that before I said yes to the recommendation) if your at all intimidated to visit auto shops for your car needs I HIGHLY recommend you visit the Valvoline in Glassboro. Thanks again guys keep up the good work.

Service is fast. Come with car wash. Associates are very nice. But you will be paying a premium for the speed. At least 100 or more for premium oil change.

I DIRIVE ALOT! I need a oil change every two weeks because of my job. So I thought I would give this place a shot. I had my oil change done by Chris. Very friendly and super knowledgeable. Ryan also worked on my car, showed me my filters, he was honest and didn t try selling me something I didn t need. 100% trusted business. See you you guys again in the best 3,000. These guys were awesome! They had me done and out of there in no time. Very professional. It was really cool how these guys communicate to each other. They would shout out different tasks that were being done and completed to each other and it actually made sense for the safety of the coworkers and safety of the car being worked on. Great job. Priced fair. I wish i could write all their names on here to tell them how good they were. One of them was definitely named Rich. So Rich and the rest of the guys thanks a lot. Ill be back again. Also I got a free car wash and the people there were great as well. Thanks everyone. Whoever gives a bad review of this place they have to be lying. I have been here a few times while working on the clock with my company and and handful of times off the clock in my personal vehicle. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place. Every one of them are very respectful, courteous, professional and quick. I have to admit the price is a little high but well worth it. They check EVERYTHING from head and tail lights, blinkers, wipers, air filters and top fluids among other things.Service: Oil change

Won t take my car anywhere else! Been a Valvoline customer for years, but this is my second time at this location since i moved. Great experiences both times. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me to get other services done like other auto shops do. They only recommend things that i actually need. Love the car wash afterwards as well! Customer for life for sure

Fast and easy. They are very thorough and fairly priced. I was in n out in 15min and they give you a free carwash coupon which is always nice. I highly recommend trying them out.

I tend to come here for my oil changes, as I have had problems at other facilities. Never had an issue and all the workers are quick, friendly and professional. However, sometimes the wait is exceptionally long to get into the bays. Generally I don't mind waiting because it's better than leaving my car at a garage and coming back for it. The workers give a general wait time, but unfortunately the wait tends to be much longer than stated.

When I came in one of the employees was very rude to me when I was driving my car in. I obviously didnt know how to and he kept rolling his eyes and throwing his head back like it was the end of the world.. But then I got serviced by Sam and he did an outstanding job. Very professional, well spoken and kind. I would recommend him to anyone honestly.Service: Oil change
