Don t take your foreign there, they aren t sure if they can do the job. They were recommend by AAA, however, my appointment was canceled due to their lack of experience with German cars? Doesn t make sense.

Honest and Professional. Turned a corner in Garfield and my steering wheel stiffened up. Pulled into a lot and noticed battery light was on. Turned out the belt came off. Got it to Joe Guarino where he said "lets figure out why it came off. Turns out a bolt for the alternator broke off and had half stuck in the block. Its a Honda Pilot. They managed to get it out with a weld and another screw in a space I'm surprised they could get their hands in. They could have given me a bunch of lines about dropping the engine or a few weeks to remove this or that, but they didn't . They devoted a few hours to getting it back on the road, put a nice new belt on it (very important) and got me back on the road by the end of the day. It was honesty and ingenuity at its best. At the end he also noted a few things I did not notice before, like low trend on one of the tires and a tail light out. I certainly intend to continue business with them.

Awesome experience here! My car needed an oil change and called up Joe. He quickly found time to schedule me and had a very quick turnaround. I also needed a tire rotation which he also provided. Cost was incredibly reasonable and will definitely be back! As a woman, I m often hesitant to try new car repair places but Joe was amazing, didn t try to sell me services I didn t need. Will definitely be back!Service: Oil change

Joe, Rich and his team is the most reliable and dependable auto mechanic team I have used. Joe is very knowledgeable and upfront about the required service/repair required to my vehicle. Every time I upgrade a car, I send it directly to Joe to get me up to speed with the required maintenance recommendations to my vehicle.

Very professional and honest shop. On my last visit the owner ordered regular tires instead of snow tires that I needed. Instead of working on fixing the issue he threw a fit! Slamming door and all. Very unprofessional attitude from a professional!Service: TiresService: Tires

Had a knocking sound from the front wheel side...and got resolved in a day. Best thing I liked about Joe was his patience to listen me blabbering about what was wrong and possible reasons. He patiently listened for the issue and was sure of the issue. Liked that confidence which provides an assurance...whatever be the price. He even got me a discount on the final bill as well....savings due to his efficiency. Great experience. Thanks to my friend Matthew's recommendation.

I only have positive things to say about this repair shop's staff. I chose this repair shop from a list of AAA approved repair shops. I am confident, after calling many of them on the list in the Lodi/Elmwood area, this is the best option if you need to have a used car inspected.While searching for an inspection of high quality, some of the AAA approved shops on my list would only conduct very shallow visual and fluid tests for only $30. I relied on Joe Guarino's garage to conduct a used car inspection about a year ago, and they pulled through for me with the greatest care and concern I could have asked for being in a strange town. (They stated the wheels would fail on the used car. I didn't end up purchasing it.) I had the same positive experience with them again bringing another used car from a different seller.They offer a standard, visual 'non-intrusive' inspection for $125.00, and a more thorough intrusive inspection at a higher price. I chose the standard inspection, but I know it was a better option than going to any other garage in the area. Mr. Guarino has been in the business for over thirty-four years, and he takes his job very seriously. I felt safe working for someone I knew was going to hold the car to state standards, as well as higher standards of judgement concerning the investment of the car. Mr. Guarino would not allow our eagerness to complete the sale prevent him from giving honest, realistic advice about the safety and quality of the car.He provides sound advice with a caring touch, and he simply seems like a caring and hard working person. I receive seasoned advice from him, and I can tell he is not going to cut corners in order to meet a quota. We are taking the car back to him for a second inspection because I don't trust anyone else's opinion.The office is welcoming and accommodating for waiting and bathroom use. The staff is friendly, and apart from the urban setting, the atmosphere is positive, and the office is orderly. It's easy for someone to block your car in the lot, so park on the street.
