I have no luck. Just replaced my windshield this past Friday & a rock hit my passenger side windshield causing a crack that is about an inch long. Just wanna thank Alex for fixing the crack in my windshield & waiving fee. He was extremely friendly, professional & quick. Thank you Alex!!

It is easy to give them money but much harder to get help after that. I noticed a crack in the brand new windshield on my way home. I called at 5:02 and of course no one answered. I called back the next work day and had to repeat myself several times and fight with a very poor automated system. When I finally got a person I had to repeat everything and make an appointment for a formal warranty repair.

Freehold NJ branch - Just saw my car and the "work" they did...where do I start? Can't even rate the quality...none existent! Gaps and cracks around windshield, holes, etc. (pics)! After 3 hours he left quickly saying "all good" with my husband unable to check out the work. Got home and saw this nightmare! They even did a bait & switch on the prepaid quote and up charged us!!! NOT GONNA HAPPEN!Can't use the car, and can't even get them out immediately to resolve, instead I'm stuck with a "warranty" appointment (other branch) 2 days out. The convenience is NOT WORTH IT...STAY AWAY!

Terrible service! They charge almost $200 for a chip repair and they do an amateur job at best, the quality of work I would expect to pay $25 for. Not happy with the job they did! No problem they will credit that money towards a new window replacement, no thanks, a very scammy tactic, perform a terrible job on a repair, then expect you to pay a fortune to replace entire windshield. I regret ever going and will never go to any safelite location ever! If I pay almost $200 for a chip repair I expect $200 worth of service, and don't expect to still see the same chip, with a lousy explanation of well at least it wont spread anymore, I could have bought a $10 kit off amazon and did just a good of job. Caveat Emptor.

The service was absolutely superb! My appointment was at 4PM and I chose to stay and wait. Turns out the store closes at 5 but the staff were very polite and patient. They even apologized for taking too long to replace the windshield and stayed open just for me until the job was finished. To clarify it takes at least 2 to 3 hours on a modern car to replace the windshield and recalibrate safety systems. So no apology is necessary :) 5 star service Team and thank you for your time after hours!

My insurance company help set up the replacement of my rear windshield it went so smooth the service technician called and was here 1hr before the appointmentrcareful precaution not to scratch the paint or cut the interior when he was completely done he even vacuumed the car and trunk. Took time explaining what to do so there is no problems with the new window very professional from start to finish.

These guys are reliable, professional and friendly. I made an appointment to see them at their Freehold location after I ended up with a stone chip in my one hour old truck. Tech came out, looked at it and said I would have a difficult time finding the chip when he was done. He was right. Couldn t find it and sure beat a $2500 dealer replacement windshield. Do not use the kits to fix yourself!! A $10 kit can ruin your windshield as opposed to working with these guys who make everything new again. I used their mobile service 5 years ago and same great experience. Highly recommend.Service: Auto windshield repair

SafeLite is simply the best. From my first contact to the finished result, my windshield & Vent Glass look fantastic. The Technician was meticulous from start to finish. You would never know that glass was broken & replaced. I was even hesitant about putting back my parking sticker because it looked so good. The Technician even installed new E-Z Pass tag holders. So I was so grateful for their service and it was excellent. I was driving and a landscaper was doing work with a weedwacker kicked up a stone and blew out my passenger side window. And it totally shattered. Coordinated an appointment online and they came to my work and replaced the window. They were professional, completed the work quickly and neatly. Very pleased with their service .

This was my first experience with Safelite after my vehicle experienced a tiny crack in the windshield most likely caused by a road stone.It was easy to book an appointment online and the tech that showed up to my home was courteous and professional.My gripe is the cost which amounted to $200 for a tiny crack. That's pretty ludicrous considering the fact I was contemplating buying a home repair kit from Amazon for $10 that had excellent reviews for positive results. The tech was only here for about 10 minutes and was using the same repair technique of the home kit. I was definitely charged more than double of what a job like this was worth. If the tiniest crack costs $200 to fix, I can just imagine what something a bit larger must cost. It's crazy and I guess people are limited where they can get these cracks fixed and thus end up having to pay these crazy prices.There also appears to be a piece of tape that was left covering the repair. As I write the review, I am still unclear if it's tape or a blemish but I am assuming the former. There were no instructions given to me on its removal and I had to go online and seek additional support from the support team.In all, Safelite of Freehold provided reliable, friendly service. However, the cost of the repair was extremely exorbitant for the work that was done. If you have a small crack you might want to look at home kits on Amazon. Of course, if you are like me and afraid to try it yourself on a very expensive vehicle, you have little options before you.

Safelite in Freehold, NJ charged $100 more than I was quoted by submitting the claim through my insurance after I explicitly told them not to. I promptly requested a $100 refund, which they stated they would provide. It has now been 3+ months, and despite being told on numerous occasions that the check was in the mail, I have not received it. They now refuse to answer my calls. I would think a company with $2.3 billion in annual revenue would be willing to own up to a mistake that they made worth $100. Sad.ETA: I reached out (yet again) after the owner responded (with a link containing a typo), and never received a response. Yet again, sad.

I would like to thank the Safelite team for an all around outstanding job! From the online scheduling of my appointment to the timeliness of taking my car in and doing the work. If every business ran the way they do the world would be a more efficient place. I was concerned the cost would increase but the price I was quoted was the price I paid. Everyone was friendly and answered my questions with understanding. Again thank you for a job well done!

Brought a brand new Tesla in (caught a pebble to the front windshield driving it home from the dealer). They had to replace the whole front windshield which they did but in the process their techs left grease marks all over the interior of the car by where they worked. They broke a clip from the plastics in the frunk which they had to remove to get to the windshield. And also chipped the paint along the hood of the car! I had go back to have them clean off all the grease marks and order a new clip. 4+ months later of calling and even going back into the store, they re still waiting for the clip that they ordered . Unprofessional and just simply don t care about their customers. Do your self a favor and find another safelite. I reported their work to my insurance company.

Refuse to stand by sub par glass that cracks instantly. Third windshield in a month can t afford to keep buying garbage. The service tech below from Toms River was all to happy to get again deny my claim for garbage glass and laughed at me as he left. Buy real glass not this garbage from Safelite. He even stayed to buy gorilla glass knowing his glass is trash. It is NOT OEM QUALITY. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!.

Sloppy work. My seat & car handle are full of the sealant from the windshield. My side air bag is also full of sealant. Sent out tech who couldn't do anything. Supposedly ordered new side piece & are setting up a detailing place to clean handle & seat. Haven't heard anything in 2 days. So let's see. By the way my car is a 2020 CRV I just purchased for $35,000.

Horrible communication and service I had my front window broken on my car and currently am going through insurance. I made an appointment through safelite to have my window replaced they waited till the morning of my appointment to tell me they didn t have the window glass from the warehouse and they didn t know when it would come in it is virtually impossible for you to get in contact with anyone at safelite as their automated answering service is pure garbage and always hangs up on you.Find another company this place is a pure joke

Want to give a big thank you to Steve (manager I believe) who went above and beyond to help diagnose a Rear window defroster issue 2 weeks ago after window changed. I greatly appreciated his help/ kindness . I believe issue resolved but still not really able to fully test as not been cold enough. Thank you again Steve, I have told all my coworkers go to to your shop with their window change needs as awesome customer service!!

Had my windshield replaced at this location recently, my technician Daniel did a fantastic job, everything was done perfectly. Office staff were friendly and personable, wait was very reasonable and prompt. Great place to have your auto glass needs addressed!

terrible service.My wife took off a day of work to get her windshield replaced. They dropped the glass, so when she got there, they rescheduled.She showed up a week later, they replaced the glass but didn't have some "OEM" piece they needed from the manufacturer. So now her sensors don't work and they told her to come back a 3rd time.There is no way to get in touch with them - the only number listed is to the automated service that can't help.Go somewhere else.

Harriel came to my house to get my Acura MDX windshield replaced. Showed up on time and very professional. Work was done in a timely manner and he took care of my car. Quality was great and would call them again for future windshield replacements

Had the glass replaced on my truck. I think the installation was done well. But the technician accidentally cut the power cord to my dashcam, which they ordered as a replacement for me.I was willing to remove the dashcam before installation. But they told me that they would take care of it.I gave them a 4 star rating for that reason.The waiting room is clean and comfortable and they offer water and other beverages while you wait.I would use them again.

Had Safelite come to repair my windshield on my jeep Cherokee. They are used through NJM insurance. The tech took my old windshield out while tech #2 did some vaping and watching. After pulling the old glass I was told that the pinch welds had some rust due to a previously installed glass. I am not the original owner, and was told they don't clean this up and I should take my truck to a shop to have it sanded and prepped . Now after they arrived on a Friday afternoon to do the job they tell me I should tow my car cause they won't put the windshield in. Heavy rain and snow was expected for Friday into Saturday so they wrapped the windshield area and just left, leaving me with no windshield. Today I'm mopping out the floors passenger and drivers side since rain penetrated the wrap. Hopefully my trucks electrical system wasn't jeopardized. Not pleased at all they left me with no car or windshield until Monday when I have another company coming out to do the job .

I have been trying to replace my windshield since the Summer. Showed up numerous times with the wrong windshield. Waited all day today for the tech to arrive between 1:30 and 5:30 only to get a text at 5 saying my appointment has been moved to Monday. A phone call would have been nice at the very least.

Seriously the greatest experience. I was super annoyed when I was attacked by a stone that cracked my windshield. Safelite had it patched without a trace in a matter of minutes.. honestly you cannot see where it was. Allstate covered it and it's guaranteed for life.

Had my windshield replaced and the process was smooth, communication channel was perfect where you can see the progress from dropoff to work finish. Their waiting area is small but hey they will let you know that beforehand so you can make arrangements if you don't want to wait or if it is full and such. Very reasonable pricing and so far i have not seen any problems with the after market glass they installed with all the prior features intact. Staff is very friendly and polite.
