Unprofessional. They failed my 2001 Silverado because the guy said my machine won't connect to your vehicle so I am gonna fail it then proceed to accuse me of putting a tune or messing with my exhaust system very rude. Then I dropped my truck off at a Chevrolet dealership got a call and said MY TRUCK IS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER! Then went back again the gentleman asked why it failed I said I I have no clue and the mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with it. So after 2 attempts and paying to have my truck looked at that had NO PROBLEMS! It passed. They either need to hire better people or update the machines they use. Avoid this place at all coast take a drive to another place where people will actually do there jobs.

Went to get an inspection on my 2017 Subaru WRX and as soon as I pulled in I knew they were looking to fail it. They went over the car with a fine tooth comb and were revving the motor to a very high RPM and the tech could barely drive stick stalling the car! They then opened the hood and 2 techs were looking under the hood with flash lights then the print out a failed inspection paper and put a red sticker on the window. He come over to me and said I need to put the catalytic converters back in the car. I argued with him and said there is catalytic converters on the car and he said the don t see them on the floor cameras. I open the hood and showed him the catalytic converters that he apparently couldn t identify and then he proceeded to accuse me of not having oxygen sensors and when I pointed them out to the techs they were dumbfounded. They went to get the supervisor and he came down and canceled the original failure and stilled failed the vehicle telling me the machine couldn t read the vehicle and it was coming up Not Ready . And told me he has no suggestions as to what I should do. No check engine light on and the car is running perfect and they stilled failed it. Why I still don t know. They came up with three different reasons why they were failing me. He told me everyone who comes in with WRX remove the catalytic converters but this is certainly not the case. They told me to put it through a drive cycle and come back another day. Their lack of automotive knowledge is a disgrace for not being able to identify a clearly visible catalytic converter and oxygen sensors. Do not go to freehold MVC inspection station. They obviously are not experienced enough to even fill a tire with air!

Had my car inspected. The service was very fast and the workers were extremely nice and patient enough to answer all of my questions thoroughly.

Waited for about 20 min because there was only 1 guy really actually working. Inspection itself took 3-5 min. The gentlemen that did my inspection was very polite and personable and worked quickly to move cars through since the other inspector was moving at a snails pace. Place was clean and easy to navigate.

Amazing place. Donna was the best and so helpful. Went to Toms River DMV and it was empty and they wouldn't let my new driver daughter even get her license. She was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. Thank you for making her so happy on her birthday by getting her license.

Went to the MVC for my car inspection. The process was smooth and quick, from the moment the car begin inspection until completion was less than 10 minutes. Please keep in mind that weekday and weekend inspection time are different.

Great place nice people it's not my first time for visit here but they all nice and kind to you ,They always welcome and help you with the issue that you didn't know before and give the information everything .Thanks again

I went for my biannual inspection and it took only 5 mins from the time I got my ticket to when it was all done. The attendant was really polite, professional and friendly. I was super pleasantly surprised. There were two other cars in front of me when I got to the center, but they opened a new bay to get everyone moving. Two thumbs up!2024 update- they are still rocking it! Longer line this time, but the guys kept ot moving quickly

It's like no one knows this MVC is here. Everytime I come there is next to no one, granted I come @7am on a Saturday but it's worth the effort. In & out service! My only complaint it why do they hire the tallest people to mess with my seat settings during inspection?Pic: those are all the people waiting to get in for 8am.

I took my son here for his written test. I warned him that MVCs everywhere stink. This location undid everything I told him. Kudos to the branch manager and her team. A concierge level of service and everyone seemed to be happy working there. I'm never going to another location. Thank you for an exceptional experience!

I pulled up first in line waited about a minute to get called inside. The people inside were very polite. It was quick and easy I passed the inspection and I was happy.

By far the best DMV in the area. Not only is it very quick, but the workers are genuine and helpful. Highly recommend for all DMV needs

The absolute best inspection station in NJ. Rich and Jimmy have fantastic personalities and get you thru quickly. Perhaps the state could treat them to free lunch on Fridays for their fabulous customer service.

Karen and her staff at this location are incompetent, uncommunicative and absolutely no help. Tried to walk in before 10 am. There was a line of misinformed people with no direction from the lazy security that sat comfortably inside. When we were told that walk ins end at 10 I let them know that I was here before 10, couldn t make an appointment due to a name change, and that I knew they would turn me away if I had made a false appointment. I let them know that all I was trying to do was change my name on my license and needed to do this. They informed me that I would have to pay a babysitter every morning hoping to get here early enough. As my child starts school at 9am. They still provided me no appointment, no path to a license other than just keep showing up. This is unacceptable. Shameful. Another great experience with Karen.

I had about a 25 minute wait (11 cars were in front of me). They had two regular lanes open, plus the reinspection lane, which would also take cars if no one needed to be re-inspected. My representative was very friendly.

The best place for a car inspection in New Jersey! This is worth the trip. Great service and even if it is busy, things move quickly. And yes, I can t believe I rated a motor vehicle device 5 stars either

It was my first time here and the staff was inviting and very polite. Honestly, the most organized and clean DMV I ve seen so far. The lady that took care of my case answered all my questions and was so patient. If you have an appointment, then an hour would the maximum you ll be there unless it s a very busy day.

Our inspection is up 9/18. Next month is busy and I was told that you can go up to a couple of months before. I am about 1/2 hour away but heard so many great reviews I decided to go. I pulled in and there was no one in front of me. I was called to pull up within 2 minutes and was out within 10 minutes. The gentleman was friendly, kind and courteous.

Not the first time i'm reviewing this place but nothing has gotten better. This seems like the job that the woman with the long black hair wants to get so she can not help anyone. I'm sure if you got her, she has pushed you away or told you to come back like she has done so many other people. Some staff are friendly and helpful but 80% of them could care less. It would be better if they had more helpful people in this establishment.

I came to the site at 4pm on a Monday (they close 4:30 M-F) right after work, there was no line at all and this is the end of the month. Super great service and very personable and funny staff! In and out in less than 5 minutes! I ve moved around and used a couple inspection sites and this by far is one of the nicest sites I ve been to! Highly recommend

I got an Awesome guy working there, it seemed like all the staff were just as nice. Their policy now is that you stay inside the car, preferably in the passenger seat, throughout the entire inspection. I'm not completely sure why, but it works to your advantage because you see everything happening. The process itself seemed flawless, systematic, quick and painless.
