I got lowering springs, cai, and an h pipe installed for my 2022 mustang. I'm very happy with the results and trust this shop with my car. Highly recommend if you have anything ford.

After years of wishing and about a year of physically searching and being on the fence, I recently purchased a used 2017 Ford Raptor. Even before I bought the truck I had heard about the famous JDM tune. I took the car in to have them look it over and give me some ideas on maintenance and what to expect with the used truck. Spoke with Jim Jr about the complete history of the Raptor and the nuances between model years. I mentioned that the transmission seemed to buck when I put it into gear as well as at certain points while driving (between 3rd and 4th when accelerating and between 5th and 4th when decelerating). That's all they needed to hear. Jim Sr worked up a few transmission tweaks. After getting the tune applied the truck feels amazing. No more clunk when putting it in gear, and no more struggling to find a gear when accelerating or decelerating. Shifting is so smooth, and with 10 speeds it's noticeable because around town it seems like its always shifting. It feels like there is always power ready for you. It's very evident that Jim Jr and Jim Sr are masters of their craft. It's refreshing to watch a team at the top of their game. They say that whatever Ford makes fast, they make faster, but they also make it way more fun. I've waited a long time to get this truck and these guys made it even better.

Took my raptor here for their stage 1 kit and tune. They claim 100hp gain but after dyno run only saw a 30hp gain. Took it back in and they said it was probably a boost leak. 2 shops and 2 tests later, no leak. Don t get me wrong, the trans shifts much better than stock, but saw nowhere near the claimed 100hp on the actual dyno. In retrospect, I would have just saved some coin and gone with goosetune.

This place is NO JOKE!!! I brought my 2019 GT350R here and I ve never seen a shop so clean! The professionalism here is unmatched and second to NONE. If you own a shelby. Or a ford that you care about, and you do nottt want to go to a ford This is the best place and this is where you should go! Unrealllll. I lived in long island for 20 years and avoided the known mustang shops there. I paid out of pocket for a tow instead of ford paying for my car to get towed to a FORD ONLY, just so I can go to JDM!!! I was that sure that this is THE SPOT! The technicians and mechanics here also have mustang builds and are extremely knowledgeable.Thank you very much and can t wait to come back and upgrade my car.

I got a GT350 intake manifold, GT350 throttle body, installation kit, and email tune for my S550 Mustang from these folks. The included instructions were great, and the installation kit made everything mate up like it was meant to. The email tune cranked up on the first try (I was nervous), and the idle smoothed out within a couple minutes. There was one bolt missing from the installation kit, but they quickly shipped me a new one to complete the project. The email tune can take a bit, but it'll be worth it if you don't have access to a local tuner. I'm not going to look anywhere else for upgrades to my Mustang from now on!Service: Auto engine tuning

Took my 2021 Ford ST for performance upgrades;Custom 3inch Vibrant Performance ExhaustSPD Downpipes and Whipple IntercoolerTeam JDM Performance 93 Tune/ SCTJim and his crew to a phenomenal job in putting this project together. They kept me informed with constant updates and progress through the entire project. The quality or work and craftsmanship in Tig welds and fabrication is second to none. JDM is a family run business and they treat you as family! Both are extremely knowledgeable and take pride in their work as Ford Specialists. Definitely recommend this shop for all your performance needs.... oooh but wait...their 93 Performance Tune is insane Thankyou !!

I cannot say enough good about JDM and the job they did on my F-150s lowering kit. The story we have is a huge epic that I do not need to go into most of. But let me say this, a good shop will install parts well and make them function the way they should. An extraordinary shop that is one of a kind and at the top, will take someone else mistake, find a way to turn it around and make it work better than I could have imagined. JDM did the impossible and took a kit that was faulty, and re-manufactured it themselves so it was completely functional. The handling and functionality on the lowering F-150 kit they customized is incredible, with full adjustability of firmness of the ride. Jim, Pat and the crew at JDM are not just good, they are phenomenal. They made me a part of the whole process and made sure I knew everything. They have the expertise to know what works well and how to make the final product the best it can be. Their assessment and advice are spot on; they have extensive engineering experience that allows them to make assessments on other kits/parts and their viability. I think you d be hard press to find a shop that will be more thorough and do the job right. I will be bringing my F-150 and 5.0 there for a lot more modifications in the future. Have heard nothing but great things and excited to have them finally finish my track car. 96 SALEEN stroked 4.6 forged, comp stage 3 cams, ported typhoon intake, ported polished twisted wedge heads, custom upper plenum 80mm, f1a-94 OR F1X PROCHARGER have both -94 currently installed( Not sure which one I will go with) 3.5" custom exhaust with electric cutouts, Holley terminator x, fuel system to handle 1200hp, rear end, suspension etc. 50-75 dry nitrous kit( not fully installed)will need parachute system finished up( I did 90 percent of it) some more gauges and electrical dine. Wish me luck with them . Calling them to set up appointment 01/19/2024. Let's finally get her finished, guys!

Fantastic experience. New engine, whipple supercharger and tune and the truck runs like a dream. Jim Jr was incredibly helpful and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Cannot recommend them enough. Definitely will be a lifelong customer

I drove 1100 miles from Florida to have JDM sprinkle their magic dust on my 2014 Roush Raptor with 100k miles. The tune transformed the way it accelerates, shifts and overall feels like a different truck. They also changed my SC oil and belt which was needed. Overall, I TRUST JDM, Jim Sr and Jr for my truck s needs, with their years of experience and excellent customer service!!!Thanks Again, Joe

This place is Amazing, if I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would! If you have a explorer ST and looking to make power or have performance parts installed or just a tune etc,look no further, you found the right place! I drove 10 hours all the way from Michigan to them for a reason they also offer performance upgrades for any Ford Performance oriented vehicle,including the rare ones!Services: Exhaust, Auto engine tuning

Went there yesterday to pick up my loaded sct tuner. Jim Jr loaded the tune into my 2023 explorer ST. I live about an hour and 10 mins from their shop and the ride home was enjoyable. There was a big power increase. When I got back home and I did two launches which threw me into the seat. My ST feels like a while different truck. HIGHLY recommend the jdm tune. You will not be disappointed.

Be careful once they get your money that's it they start being nasty to u lie about going to refund my Jim is a thief then they stop answering your calls sad got $4000 for vacuum leak that's still there fuel pumps they installed caught on fire smh this shop was recommended to me by a friend business partner who got the most mustangs consumer affairs first and court

JDM Engineering is hands down the best shop I ve gone to and I ve gone to a few. They are master mechanics and Jim is the go to tuner to say the least. The shop is great at all things Mustang and Ford related. The owner Jim Damore and his son are both great guys and the staff, are also very good. Some of the mechanics are ex Ford Techs and are very knowledgeable and skilled with every facet of the car. The jobs are done as close to perfection as can be and they will work and help you with your car until you are happy. You should absolutely go to this shop if you have a Mustang, F150, Lightning, Explorer ST or anything that basically Ford produces and are desiring a little extra power from. It's a family owned business and they really take good care of their customers. While I was waiting there to have my raptor tuned, I noticed some loyal customers stop by to have some mechanical work done on their vehicles. I was impressed to see how they treat their customers! Had a serious problem with someone building my mustang. Found these guys and Jim and his son were very upfront about things. No BS no games. I just started my mustang build again and Jim and his crew are on the task right now. I was extremely satisfied with the facility and knowing these guys are just totally forward to the core is really a breath of fresh air. Their attention to detail is one of the best qualities about these guys. Anybody could just slap a thing together a motor and whatnot and send it out the door but Jim and his crew are very precise and dedicated to quality and safety. I will keep everyone posted on this build and I can't thank JDM enough for helping me achieve my dream and my goal of having one of the baddest mustangs around. We will keep you posted on all the events leading up to a final running car! Thanks JDM can't wait to have you guys work some more of your amazing mustang magic on Misty. I highly recommend JDM for your mustang needs or overall Ford in general needs.

I purchased a Roush upgrade system from them. They started out very polite and helpful. I called and asked for a tune for adding methanol. They told me that it would be an additional $485 for 30 minutes of work. The salesman was very rude and did not want to work with me on the cost. I waited very patiently for their initial tunes. They had technical issues that cost me 7 days for my tune from the beginning. You would think that they would appreciate the fact that I waited for them to iron out there tech issues. Instead of apologizing for the delay and trying to work with me, they told me that that the 30 minute tune adjustment would cost me $485. I tried to negotiate, but they were unwilling. They started out with 4 stars and now would get 0 stars for rudeness, and being unwilling to work with their customer.

This place is amazing for your mustang fixes. My car had problems beyond what I think a dealership would have been able to fix and Jim senior fixed them! He really knows his stuff and was able to fix every issue with my 2017 whipple supercharged gt350. This car has never ran this good before and there was a lot that needed to be reworked. I would highly recommend JDM Engineering to anybody who has problems with their modified cars or even stock cars. These guys are going to be my new mechanics for any uprgrades or problems I may have in the future. They are real stand up and meticulous guys. Thanks again Jim!

Outstanding service. I contacted them to get information on a set of replacement performance fuel injectors(without needing to recalibrate), and I had my answer within a couple of days. I should have gone to them first, because I spent weeks talking to other companies that turned me away. JDM ENGINEERING will definitely be my go to Ford shop from now on.Service: Auto engine tuning

Not sure what went wrong here but hours after I pick up my truck from these guys truck caught on fire and everything they said they did still have the codes paid $4000 for this smh contacted him and he's so disrespectful sad

Great Team! Have used them since 2007 on various Ford vehicles always spot-on from a Ford Lightning to a Mustang to the EcoBoost have purchased many Tunes all are amazing! Have purchase complete Motors as well as various other parts through out the years even if you just need information they are there for you if you own a Ford these folks are the people to deal with!!

I ve been with JDM since 2008 on (4) different vehicles: a 2001 Lightning (JDM built short block), 2005 Roushcharged F150, 2013 Whipple Supercharged Raptor and now a 2007 GT500. I can t say every project was easy but each time these guys have stood by my side and helped me through to the end. This is customer service at its finest and a company that is proud of their products and services. Special shout out to Jim Jr and Nick I appreciate you both

Do not bring your vehicle here. They set up an appointment later moved it and after dropping it off at first open for a 3 hour job 6 hours later have not even pulled it in and lied saying they were having trouble with it. I can t say enough about JDM team. I currently own a 2018 5.0ROUSH F150 and was in the market for a custom tune. As you all may know you can buy a tune online but nothing compares to have a custom tune by JDM.About a month ago and after doing my own research I walked into JDM and had the pleasure to meet Jim jr. Jim who is extremely knowledgeable and personable took his time explaining the tune and results I would see. Right then and there I knew found the best place to do what I wanted my truck to do.Yesterday I went down to JDM to have my custom tune installed and to put this into one word how the truck feels now is ....INSANE!! I can t even begin to explain what a difference it is from the stock tune.What makes JDM stand out from the rest of the class is not only their expert knowledge but they take pride in what they do and take the time with their customers. Which ultimately provides a great customer experience.I want to say thank you! to Jim sr and Jim jr. You guys did and absolutely amazing job!! I have owned a Saleen Dan Gurney Eagle Mustang for many many years, and the car has always given me fits...going into limp mode under hard acceleration from time to time. I finally had ENOUGH! And at the recommendation of my good friend Peter Miller, I contacted JDM and Jim Jr. He walked me through the entire process of having a custom tune made for the car. Told me that Saleen supercharged Mustangs are sorta notorious for this kind of hiccup . Well after a few phone calls, and long distance diagnosis (I m in Phx.) Jim had a custom tune designed for my car, explaining that this should cure what ails it. Well, when it arrived at my home, I had NO idea what I was doing, so once again, Jim walked me through the download (or is it upload?) LOL process and low and behold the car is like a BRAND NEW CAR!!! I actually have no fear of getting stranded anymore and it s actually fun to drive once again! I want to thank him for all of his ungodly patience with me, and echo what s been said on Google here time and again..... Class operation, super helpful and polite and a fabulous outcome. I will always recommend JDM to everyone I know with a hot rod! Thanks a million Jim Jr.Chris Hall
