I failed my state inspection numerous times due to faulty misfire codes, Asher from AA Auto Repair diagnosed my car the same day it got to him and the next day had already passed its inspection with no trouble. He is the best mechanic I have had the pleasure working with.

Brought my 2017 Jeep Cherokee into this shop due to an oil filter housing crack and some other minor repairs in December of 2022. The service was performed quickly, but at a hefty cost. Due to the circumstances, the price of the repair did not bother me. Upon inspection of my vehicle afterwards, I did notice that components were not put back correctly and there was damage to 2 brackets in front of the engine.8 Months later, my car experienced the same complete oil leak. I brought it in to another shop in Maryland only to be told that the original rework to my oil filter housing was not done correctly. It was missing crucial hardware needed for the housing, which caused it to crack once again. The repair work for this was a much lower cost than what initially paid AA Affordable.Though in a pinch, this company was very helpful and willing to take my vehicle in and return to me quickly. And I'm sure this instance is not a reflection of the quality of their work based on other reviews, but if I would've known that I would be experiencing the same problem again, I would've taken it somewhere else.Services: Repair hardware, Oil change

On 8/29/2023 I was driving and my front wheel came off my car. I slid about 20 feet until I came to a stop. I was terrified 2 feet from large trees and 10 from hitting a telephone pole. I sat for a few minutes not knowing what to do. I look up tow trucks near me and was grateful to find AA auto repair near by. Made a phone call and Asher told me to calm down everything would be okay. He had a tow truck to my location with 20 minutes and how grateful I was for that. Even the tow truck driver was kind and understanding and said I was lucky it could have been much worse but you are safe now so let s focus on getting you car to shop so AA could fix it and make it safe for you to drive. Got to the shop and with no way home Asher said I will bring you home which not all repair shops offer that type of excellent service. On the ride home he said I am going to do everything I can to keep the cost down and provide you a safe SUV to drive. Asher kept in touch with regular updates. He replace my wheel, did my brakes, filled my fluids and some other repairs tro make it safe. He kept my cost down and service at an ultimate high. not only did he fix my car he did it in record time. I can not thank AA enough for making not only my feel better but also for the excellent service to my car. I highly recommend anyone giving him their business. Thank you AA for caring about your community and their safety on their vehicles. My dodge durango r/t broke down and I had it towed here. First time going to get any kind of repairs done and it was a very pleasant experience. Asher was very quick to diagnose the problem being a bad water pump and was quick to communicate what had to be done/replaced. He spent all day on my vehicle and was able to get it back to me that same day. I ended up saving money since I didn't have to Uber to work the next day which was a 40 min drive. Asher has been extremely helpful. I purchased a used car (yr. 2000) because I needed something to get me around and he has been great at making sure it's safe to drive me and my daughter around. The car needed initial repairs to the subframe and he was very helpful in identifying immediate repairs needed for safety vs. repairs I'd have to do later down the road for maintenance. Obviously, with an older car the upkeep could be endless, so I'm grateful that Asher is transparent with me instead of trying to keep racking up the bill. Additionally, he goes above and beyond and drops me off/picks me up whenever my car needs service. I recently had an issue with my brake lines, and I called him that night and he was able to get it repaired ASAP. Best Auto Repair shop in the entire Freehold Area. This Repair shop is 100% reliable and the most professional, hands down. I had recently gotten a flat tire while driving thru the freehold area, I called AA Auto and Asher was an absolute savior to my car troubles. He assisted in directing me to the shop safely and assured me he could help. He was very knowledgeable of Auto services and explained everything to me and assisted me on deciding on what I'd like him to do on my vehicle first. It was comforting to have someone go through everything with me and discuss options and prices. He is a true professional. And the work he did on my vehicle was great, 5 stars all around for everything. This place was amazing. Amazing service, amazing professionalism, and amazing owner. I can not begin to tell you how great of an experience me and my mother had with my car here. It is so hard to find true and honest, mechanics who are ALSO very polite and wonderful. Out of all the shops my mother and i have called and all the mechanics and owners we have spoken too, Asher, the owner here at this place was the only one who treated us both like humans and treated us with the upmost respect. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone, i will definitely be coming here for everything. Many thanks to Asher, at AA auto repairs, for being such an honest and excellent mechanic. While driving to my doctors appointment my alternator seized and I desperately turned into AA auto. He immediately checked, diagnosed and ordered the parts needed. Asher then drove and picked me up from my doctors office which was down the road, since I recently had foot surgery and was unable to walk on my own. Just wanted to share my experience with AA and I will definitely be returning for future repairs...thanks Asher for your kindness and expertise. Maria

Asher was wonderful! He was very helpful when my daughters engine went on her car to give me the best estimates and advice. I haven t gotten my brakes fixed in awhile and and they started making noises like screeching and I checked it had bad circles around the rotors. It was dangerous to drive. Thankfully I took the car to aa auto repair and he saw the problem and replaced my brakes and rotors the same day. As well as checking my engine and doing a whole engine flush. I recommend you going here because this was one of the fastest a mechanic got me in and out without a problem. I left a very happy customer. Absolutely The worst experience ever! I live in another state and was visiting New Jersey. When I arrived at my location my car completely shut off and I had to get it towed. Working through my insurance I towed it to this location. It was on a Sunday so I had to stay overnight in New Jersey and was not able to speak to the repair shop until the following day. I went by the repair shop and spoke to the owner regarding my vehicle. I asked him if it needed a new engine if he was able to do the work and he told me yes. He had me give a deposit 600 + to "look at my car" and told me he would contact me in a few days. When I spoke with him later that week he told me he was unable to locate an engine and that the engines were back ordered through the dealership. He also told me that it would take him several months to install a new engine. I told him that was fine and I made arrangements to get another vehicle. Then he told me that he would be going on vacation and would be gone for the next 3 weeks. I waited for the 3 weeks to go by doing research of my own. Working with a local mechanic shop. I was able to locate a used engine that would be compatible with my car. When the owner returned from vacation this past Monday, he contacted me and told me that he would not be doing the work and that I would need to make arrangements to have my vehicle moved from his location. I asked about the money that I had given him and he told me" it was to look at my car " and told me that he had been trying to work with me by not charging me storage fees. How could you charge someone storage fees when you've been on vacation for the past 3 weeks? He told me if I did not get my vehicle moved he would start charging storage fees which would be on top of the $600+ he already had. I had my car towed to another repair shop on Wednesday I followed up with them today and they have already found an engine for my car and we have arrangements for it to be installed.
