My husband and I made an appointment for our real IDs which New Jersey is requiring in 2025, and it was such an easy process. We got there and they even took us before our scheduled time frame. We were done within 15 minutes and the people there were very kind and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband as we were driving home said,"That was impressive. Well done."

1/24/24 i was failed because of an obstruction to my OBD connector - VERY CONFUSED, that for my first inspection ever, on my 5 year old car, which is in next to perfect condition - that has only ever been worked on at hyundai across the street from the inspection station - would have any issues.i was told i had to CUT the zip ties for the inspector to be able to access the OBD connector - i knew this was wrong and i took my car to a friend that works on cars who immediately pointed out that my OBD connector is 1000% visible and accessible.the inspector was telling me to cut zip ties on wires for my cars electrical - beware and be smart about what these people are telling you to you to your cars because i would have caused a lot of possible damage in doing so per thisman s instruction.i contacted the state about the issue and i was told to go directly to the on site manager when i return next week.please see photos - in a white square is the electrical connections i was instructed to cut by the person inspecting my car. which is sitting directly next to an unobstructed OBD connector.

Had to renew my license and upgrade to RealID. Made an appointment for 9:20, arrived at 9:10 was walking out at 9:30.Whole process was very easy. Fill out the forms in advance and use the online tools to get your supporting documents in order.

I am so thankful for the women that I had experiences with today!!! Yesterday the women at the Washington office were so rude and nasty I found myself crying in the parking lot for over an hour before I could drive! Thank you Allison at the first help desk!! She was courteous and helpful in getting the info together for my name change. I was in and out in less than a half an hour and it was very pleasant compared to the other office. I will only come to Flemington MVC from now on!! Thank you everyone for helping me officially become Mrs. Donna Hopkins !!!

This is the only NJMVC I go to to get my car inspected. The people working there are friendly and happy - specifically Peter i think is his name - he has a beard. It's nice to go for a service and get waited on from someone who loves his job and makes a pain in the neck task stress free and easy.

I had a great experience today a the Flemington NJ DMV. The employees, Lisa and Hazel, were kind, friendly, and professional throughout the whole process. The best experience I have ever had in any DMV in PA or NJ!

MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSION is printed in large and visible font directly on the front of the building. However, this establishment doesn t allow you to transfer a MOTOR VEHICLE s title or register the MOTOR VEHICLE. In fact, they only issue Driver s License according to the woman at the door. Nothing to do with Motor Vehicles. Shame on this bureaucratic state enterprise and their blatant inefficiencies, and misdirection. They do not serve the public. The public serves them.

Sep 8th, 2020. Great experience for license renewal and car inspection, especially taking COVID-19 into consideration.Here is my timeline for those who might need it.License renewal:- 4:15 arrived. I am the 11th in the line.- 6:15 an officer came to ensure everyone in the line is for license issues.- 7:45 a staff came to give everyone a number sheet.- 8:00 collecting phone numbers so that people could leave and wait for the text message when their turn comes. As # 11 I am the first batch into the agency.- 8:50 license renewed.Car Inspection:- 9:00 I noticed they also do car inspection, so I joined the line for inspection.- 9: 50 Inspection done.Also this agency do car inspection, the line is not too long. I got in the line after My driving license got renewed. It took like 50 minutes to get the inspection done. People working here are very friendly and work efficiently.Tips: Bring chairs and blankets if you plan to go early before sunrise (6:30).

The staff was helpful and efficient, but waiting in the cold for two hours before opening is terrible! I hope they can find a better solution with fall starting.This was how my trip went:* arrived at 6:00am, line wrapped behind the building, last ones on the sidewalk, line is starting down the parking lot* 6:30am looks like the parking lot in front is full but i believe there is parking across the street that people are using* 7:30am car inspection line seems to go all the way to the road, DMV line goes all the way to the back of the parking lot by the road* 8:15am got my ticket number, 42, and the line is moving* 8:30am went inside and gave my phone number* 8:33am just got back into my car and I already received my first text letting me know to come back to flemington* 8:38am another text letting me know I can head to the door and wait* 8:45am called in and waiting to be assigned to a desk* 9:24am had some trouble with all of the paperwork and trying to get real id (didn t get it), now waiting to take my picture* 9:40am called over to take my picture, pay and get my new license* 9:50am all done! (on my way out, I overheard them say that they met capacity for the day)

One of the better run agency's and inspection stations. For an auto inspection on a Wednesday at the last day of September I arrived about 10am at the end of a line of cars starting on the shoulder of Rt 31 S. Was through the inspection and with a new sticker in about an hour.

My wife and I applied for a driver's license at the DMV OF FLEMINGTON and during all the procedures, the administrators were above the appropriate level in terms of behavior and professionalism, but in particular I want to mention Jasna, who always welcomed people with a smile and was ready to serve the applicants for whatever needs they have.

Simply put Super RUDE front staff! You can easily pickup the discriminatory demeanor against customers with English as second language. You can also tell that most customers felt humiliated. The site manager of this location must not care or given up. What a shame.

It's a terrible experience. She is the most rude person I have ever met before. (She kept saying it didn't matter. I think this is her saying habit. And when I heard that word, I could expect she is the one in a lot of bad review.)She didn't have professional knowledge, and she could not explain anything and she even scared me. I think she is there to help the citizen to get their driver license, not be angry.

Came here to do an out-of-state transfer from New York to New Jersey and this is the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the DMV, everyone was helpful and thorough and the woman that helped me was phenomenal. I was in and out with no problems. I have no idea how this dmv got so many bad reviews, I m assuming it s because people don t look at what documents they need prior to arriving and expect the DMV to let them slide. So do yourself a favor and make an appointment, and most of all make sure that you have all the documentation that you will need for whatever you re trying to do plus some extra documents or mail just to be safe. I also see a lot of reviews mentioned racism, and I experienced nothing of the sort. I highly recommend this DMV.

I don't even want to leave 1 star for this place. I'm in the process of filing a Title VI discrimination complaint with them. I went to the window to take a knowledge test to get my license and the lady told me that I couldn't wear my earplugs and that I had to use the provided headphones. I am 65 percent burned and lost both of my ears. I showed her my medical condition and told her that the skin around that area was irritated and the headphones pushed on them and made them hurt worse. She told me that I couldn't them and then I asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor told me the same thing and rolled her eyes at me so I left and never got to take my test.

Went to Ringoes MVC for motor vehicle inspection on a Friday at 10am on the 20th of the month. 5 cars on line in front of me. Waited 3 minutes to be called in, done in another 3 minutes.

Hello Management,I came for this MVC for long distance but as I was late but because 1:30 ride from my home. I pay for Lyft $89 but they didn t allowed me to check in and the security guide was very rude and racist. Management should take stick action regarding this. Very badly insulting way to talk with customers.Regards

It s troubling and scary seeing racism like we seen here today. My wife a Latina passed her driving test today and several minutes later picked her phone and paperwork up off the floor to leave. A women screams and says what are you doing? My wife said I am finished and I am picking up my stuff, the girl responds you just failed your test. They canceled her results and told her to come back in 3 weeks. Her English is not perfect but she tried to explain that her test was competed several minutes ago and they told her they don t care there is nothing they can do.All this while another gentleman had used his phone and actually had a conversation on it in the same area and they did nothing! Because he spoke perfect English I am so surprised to see in a state like we live in and it being 2023 the treatment she was given. When she pleaded with manager to that phone was off and only in her hand 5 min after she was done and getting ready to leave. The manger said sorry we can t do nothing for you a disgusting face.I still have hope for this place but not under management that does and let s this happen!Do yourself a favor and unless you fit this places profile go to another DMV

there was a grey haired woman who was t e r r i b l e. my mother and I went to get her permit renewed, when my mother initially got her permit at that same location a while ago, the woman told her to just get it fixed later. at this recent appointment we went in and I told the woman of the mistake, her demeanor changed completely and became very rude telling us we should have checked before we left that first time, WE DID and we told the worker. She then tells us that we have to go to Trenton to get it fixed! that is nearly an hour away from where we live, all because of someone that could not correctly copy a last name from the 10 different form of ID you are required to have. when I asked her how someone could make a mistake like that and then we have to deal with it, she asked me if I am perfect. I told her yes since it does not take a rocket scientist to copy and paste a last name on a government document. she was zero help and was the fakest person with the quickest temper I have ever seen. I can't even say to just double check everything before they give it back to you since we did that and that did not help us out. she was grey haired and wore glasses with yellow teeth. avoid this old bag because she obviously does not know how to do her job, or interact with others when someone doesn't just go along with everything she says. good luck!

My second visit here - I have to say honestly, that every member of staff has been extremely helpful, polite and professional. The way you treat people - mutually - is very important and everyone here has been excellent, from the security on the door, to the test staff, and the payment team. Very happy with everything.Bring the right documents, be in time, be polite, and I hope you have a similar experience.

Great service. I read bad reviews before going here and I was ready for "quite an experience". But everything was super fast and nice. It took 1,5 hours to get the permit, pass the knowledge test and pay all fees. I transferred my driver's license ID from another country without any issues or questions. The staff was super friendly.

The Manager lady and the old woman beside her (cubicle 10) very unprofessional. She seem to be unhappy with life. Rude and doesn t respect someone s else time. My son and I waited over an hr because someone gave us a number when the walk in time has passed. She could have said a nice word since my son didn t manufacture the ticket and allowed us to wait that long. She s not suppose to be working there. I will not call her a racist. Very unhappy human being.

Slow and useless. The whole system is 30 years behind. Standing on line outside to standing on line inside.There was some work being done, hopefully the place is being upgraded and updated.

Went through the vehicle inspection line, which surprisingly was not busy for mid-afternoon at the end of the month. They only had two lanes open. 22 minutes from the time I got in line til the time I exited the building. People were freindly and professional.

My wife and I went to the Flemington NJMVC location, which is 40 miles from our home, and had a terrible experience. We had made appointments for RealID two months ago and thought the appointment was for 1:45pm. Instead it was for 11:45am. They let me get the ID but not my wife. There were less than 10 people in the place so there is no question they could have accommodated us. The person at the desk when you walk in was unfriendly and looked at us with disdain. He ordered me to get in line when I was waiting with my wife to see the supervisor he called. When the supervisor came out and said my wife would have to reschedule.The people behind the counters who helped me were nice but the rest of this site needs some training in customer relations. They should start by getting someone at the door who can actually be pleasant.If you want rude service, please check them out. You won't be disappointed. We are going elsewhere next time.

Very rude personnel, I went three times to get my American driver's license on the basis of my international driver's license, issued in another country. They asked each time new requirements. At the end they didn't accept my international driver's license and refused to explain it. When I said, that I disagree, they told me that they don't want to talk to me anymore and will call for the security: very rude and no respect. Very negative experience. The punctuality is okay. One star only for this.

Rudest personnel I have ever experienced. After coming from out of state, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. DMV employees continued to yell at myself and other people for miscellaneous issues that would be resolved with a simple system update.
