I just moved to town and decided to try Flanders Auto for the first time looking for a family mechanic and I definitely found the right place. I took my car in for tires and an oil change and there was a noise coming from the rear end of the car as well. Upon inspecting, they found sub frame rot. Paul who is a master welder, worked very hard to repair my car at a fraction of the cost, instead of replacing the entire subframe which would have cost $2,500. My car has never run smoother since I bought it. I am extremely happy and I thank Al and Paul for the excellent service and highly recommend their shop! ~Rick R.

The most honest and reputable auto service center in Morris County, for my money, is Flanders Automotive. I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years because of their excellence in service and pricing. Al and Paul treat me like family. Truly a unique experience in a business that has it's share of shady operators.I STRONGLY urge bringing all your auto problems to Flanders Auto.

Great guys. Was on trip out of state for our wedding. Noticed tire pressure was low and found a screw in a rear tire. We were turned away by 3 other shops before we came to Flanders Auto. These guys took us in right away and plugged the tire quickly. They even checked pressure on all 4 tires. Highly recommend!

I needed my car for the weekend and wanted to know why the engine light was on and if I could possible drive it without damaging it. Paul wasted no time fitting me in. And when he was looking it over called to update me on it.I was completely and totally satisfied with Paul, Walter and Al and I would definitely refer their establishment for car service!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Al and Paul, You guys are great! I made appointments for our vehicles to go in for oil changes and a few other things. On the way for our first appointment my muffler dropped down and was dragging. The appointment that night was for the other car. We had to leave the truck instead. They took it in, no problem, did all the work and rescheduled everything to accommodate us. Thankfully all was done on time and to perfection! Nice!! since we had messed up their schedule!We have been customers for a while now after following our daughter s recommendation.I/we couldn't be happier with the service, the willingness to take what is given with no complaints and the FRIENDLY attitude that everything is handled with is quite a bonus.While I am at it their prices are some of the best around. They are honest and upfront about all services.And Hey!!! I'm not even a relative! LOL. Just a real review from a customer . Thanks guys! You're the best! Doris

This is my go-to place to get repairs on my car. Paul is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and will look for ways to save you money if possible. I appreciate that he would rather repair a part than completely replace it. He also fixed one of my door handles without asking, and it has made such a difference. Paul called a week after my recent repair to check up on the car to see how it was doing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my car in to Flanders auto&tire center after several unpleasant experiences with other brand name auto services companies and they were more than superior. Paul immediately inspected my car and was able to repair it on the spot. The service was superior and Al, Paul and all the staff are amazing. I have been using Flanders Automobile for a while now.Paul is very knowledgeable and he tries to find the best option for you and your car.He helped me getting my car's exhaust pipe repaired, a job that the dealership said it was going to cost me $800, after talking to Paul I end up paying $232.I highly recommend Flanders Automobile. Wow, what a great place. Was refered by a friend and boy was he right. Thought I needed brakes or something else, they looked at it and it was a simple fix. They charged me like $50. I'll never go anywhere else again.

Paul & Al are the best. I found out my catalytic converter was ready to fall out. I could not afford to replace it. Paul welded it in for a VERY REASONABLE price. I don't know what I would have done if I had to replace it. You can't go wrong to have Flanders Automotive work on your vehicle.

Employees here are not personable. Could not even give me air when I stopped by. If you want to grow your clientele you should be more open and welcoming to people. Service and hospitality is everything. I certainly will never bring my car here with how I was treated.

I recently moved here and this was my first time ever going to a mechanic on my own. incredibly accommodating, polite, and explained the issue to me in great detail (in a way my auto-inept self could understand LOL) all in a timely manner. i felt very informed and in the loop the entire time, will definitely be taking my car back, thanks Paul!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a flat while visiting the area and was really in a jam. I showed up at FATC and they almost immediately checked the tire, patched it, and got me on my way with a very reasonable fee and didn t try to sell me a new tire as many places might. 5 stars.

This is a great company, and very reliable. I greatly appreciate their service, and especially when Paul worked on my car as an expert, he assured me that he will let me know about all the repair as he inspected the care what needed to be done, and said that he will personally work on my car, and I really loved that. Paul is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and on time, and detail oriented what is very important together with exceptional customer service. They definitely gained my trust, as I was very sceptical towards other automotive shops. I will definitely recommend this company to others.

The team was able to schedule prompt appointments diagnose and repair an AC compressor that hadn't worked in several years. Took the time to explain the findings and details of the repair. The estimate matched the final bill. And the work was done in a timely manner with excellent communication. Highly recommend! Very grateful to Al and his team! They were able to fix a major oil pan leak and oil change for my Dodge Avenger on EXTREMELY short notice while they had a full weeks worth of other cars on their calendar.I had a last minute emergency with my oil as the oil pressure light came on and I thought it was a simple fix of adding more oil, but sadly that was not the case. Called early afternoon next day and the team was able to squeeze me in on very short notice to check out the problem same day. Quickly identified I had a major leak in the oil pan and it needed to be replaced entirely ASAP. Very transparent and honest with me on parts, timing, and especially price which I greatly appreciated. Though they had a packed schedule of repairs and said it may take awhile before they can get to my car, they were able to repair my car in just 2 days and was back on the road by Monday after dropping it off Friday. Thank you again for the flexibility and will definitely be coming back for future services!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

This is my go-to for ALL my automotive needs. They are honest, do great work, care about the customers and their prices are reasonable. The owner is such a gentleman, he gave me a ride home, while they worked on my car! Love this place! Definitely the most honest and talented mechanics around. Better than commercial garages.

It's not everyday you can find a good mechanic that's reasonably priced and extremely trustworthy-but I did! Through word of mouth, I went to Flanders Automotive about 2 yrs ago and now I'll never go anywhere else. Al and his team are very professional, efficient, honest, and do excellent work for a fair price. Seriously, if you don't have a good mechanic or one that you can trust, go to Flanders Automotive!
