Even though I had an appointment to change the oil in my car, I waited for exactly 3 hours. I know the oil change will take 20 minutes, they just kept me waiting because I was a girl and I didn't complain. They might be slow because I went on a Sunday, but there were still 3 people working and I was able to make an appointment. If I had known it would take this long, I wouldn't have wanted to wait. I did not have a good experience and will not go again. Also, they didn't even ask me what type of oil change I wanted, they decided on their own and put the oil they wanted.

This Firestone is a few blocks from my home so it's obviously convenient to have my car serviced at this location. However, it's not the sole reason I continue to trust them with my car: I've taken my 2020 Hyundai Elantra to this Firestone for over two years for regular oil changes, front brake service, battery replacement, fuel injection service, and just recently four Firestone tires! I can honestly say, each and every time I've taken my car to be worked on, I have felt respected, well informed, and secure about not being manipulated into unnecessary repairs. Each employee that I've communicated with has been knowledgeable about my car's needs and have provided me with accurate information in terms of wait time. They have a waiting room just in case you don't live nearby and have the convenience of going home like me. There are also some eateries close by if you opt to have something to eat while you wait.

Avoid going here unless you want your rims damaged , went in for tire change , balancing and alignment. Walkout out with rims damaged with scratches.

Wilson is a great customer service representative. He is professional & has a great attitude. He explains in detail anything that your car needs fixed. He also helped me setup an appointment.Emilio has a bad attitude overall - it seems that when a question is asked, he responds in a strange way. It looks like he doesn't have the desire to work.

Three starts only because my wheels were changed and so far so good.Besides that, Emilio the manager, was very hostile and seemed uninterested to provide information in regard to the charges being added to my total.I doubt I ll come back to this establishment, you can thank the not so wonderful customer service by the manager Emilio.

Went to this location today and had a great experience. Ethan at the front was totally helpful and professional. Also watched his encounter with another customer who didn t seem to understand how things operated and boy was he patient lol! Definitely going to swing by again to have my car serviced.

I requested a diagnostic and it wasn t available , yet they punctured my tires . They wanted to sell me the tires and when I said I couldn t pay that much the clerk s voice changed . The dashboard in my vehicle had all kinds of warning lights after I left which it didn t have before. Don t use their services because they re pathetic .

Attention: DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION TO SERVICE A CAR YOU CARE ABOUT!!!Had winter tires installed at this location. The installation work was shoddy, as the tire seal broke in a week or so while car was sitting on driveway.Return to store to have the tire seal repaired. They reseal tire but almost forgot to rebalance. Mechanic struggled during rebalance process and dropped the wheel and his tool fell on the wheel. Ultimately, my Porsche 911 wheel paint was damaged. Mechanic said to call manager on Monday when he returns.Receive call on Monday from Manager to come by and show wheel. Went by, and manager dismissed the possibility the damage occurred at the shop. I show him before pictures of the wheel, and he barely looked at the photo, and continued to dismiss the facts. Then says to file claim on corporate website, he cannot do anything at the store. Not sure why he called me to come to the store. Humiliating experience to be dismissed, despite evidence.Jan 2022 update: tire flat again, same problem. Took to another tire shop and they showed me they damaged the tire on inside when they were prying it off rim. No choice now but to take legal action.

I went Friday 10/28/23 for wheel alignment service. Emilio the customer service has bad character for customers. He tried to ripped me off or scam me to change the inner and outer tie rods, the technician is Jose. He told me to replace the inner and outer tie rodsMy recommended is to fire this people who s working in Firestone Fairview New Jersey Bad reputation for Firestone company. I will say shame on you Firestone company and do your work seriously.

Scheduled an appointment and got the confirmation, but when I arrived, no technicians were available. Waste of time and frustrating experience. Would give one star but the guy working there seemed helpful.

Made the mistake of going back to this location after, twice, they neglected to reattach the heatshield under the car following an oil change.Took the car in for alignment (if they weren't bad at what they do the lifetime alignment deal is a great deal) and proceeded to head out on vacation.About 45 minutes from my destination in the middle of no-cell-signal Vermont I start hearing a flapping noise. I wrongly assumed they'd just sloppily attached the heatshield.Nope.Out of five lugnuts that are generally considered necessary to hold the front wheel on, only two (2) were present.My wife, my infant son, me, in the car in the middle of nowhere. No signal, no other cars.WILLNEVERGOBACK

Wish I could give zero stars - Made a midweek, morning appointment for an oil change and AC check in preparation for a long road trip. Two hours and two hundred dollars later I was ready to go and saw on the receipt that they never did the AC check! But wait, it gets better..... on my vacation in the middle or very, very rural Maine the oil light comes on. They didn't tighten the drain plug. Isn't that oil change 101? My dad taught me that when I was 15 and just learning how to drive. So, after forking out $200 for an oil change, I needed another one less than a thousand miles later because of their incompetence. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS.

The most expensive mechanic / auto service establishment in the north east. the costumer service is great and every host / front of store agent is professional and polite but their troubleshooting for finding mistakes they make on their repairs and parts are the worst I ve experienced. I paid for new brakes and rotors (all 4). I got 3 out of 4 done correctly. Went back 7 times due to a disturbing screeching on one of the brakes they installed. they tried over and over to replace / fix the issue and every time it only got worse. I got tired of leaving my vehicle their over night, constantly going back and forth from my home and nothing getting resolved. I took my vehicle to another local mechanic who got the job done right and he showed me the cheap parts that where used, hence the issue. If you like to pay top dollar for cheap parts, expensive labor and excellent costumer service this is definitely the place for you.Service: Brake service & repair

Great service! Emilio is an amazing professional who provided the best possible customer service. Highly Recommend! They ordered and had a replacement tire delivered and installed in under 2 hours! Emilio also went through an annoying process getting our warranty to cover the replacement and he was incredibly nice about it. I'll go back here every time.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! I went to change tires, and they unlinked a door. I ask for help if they could fix it and he said I don t see the difference It was so obvious that the sound of the door closing was different. Never coming back ever again.

I made an appointment for 2 pm to have wheel alignment and balancing. I waited for 4 hours in the shop. The car sat outside until 4 pm. And their excuse was they were busy. So this can not be an excuse. So why are we making an appointment if I will wait like a walk-in customer? If you can not keep appointments under control, you shouldn't accept any appointments. First and last time visiting.

Drove in on a Saturday morning with a car that had a major leak and drove away 5 hours later with a smile and relaxed knowing & seeing problem was fixed. I can't understand why this place has less than 4 stars. These guys took my 1995 Mitsubishi vr4 Spyder, a highly technical car, and spent the time to diagnose and fix a wheel vibration that another (un-named shop) had created 5 years back. I had multiple other shops try to solve the problem in previous years. I was at the point of selling the car thinking there was un-resolved frame damage to it. When I picked up the car after they had it in the Firestone shop for a couple days of attentive care it was like new. They went into the deep details of what was wrong, some of which were actually very stupid mistakes made by the previous shop. This is not a churn and burn shop. Emilio the manager treated me and my car like I was a family member. I do not write a lot of reviews here but this shop definitely deserves a better review and rating than they have at the moment. The price for what they did was much less than it had expected and honestly I would've paid just about anything to have this priceless car brought back to life. These guys are amazing, I wish I had the name of the guy that did the work as he was just as awesome. I usually work on my cars myself because I do not trust shops. Got a flat tire, came 30 min before closure, they refused to help me, it takes 5 min to fix they were the only tire shop open terrible

Fast, friendly and knowledgeable. My tire blew close to closing time and I thought I'd have to leave it overnight which would have been a nightmare since I had to drive early next day. But they hustled and replaced my tire, no muss, no fuss, and before closing. Great job.

DO NOT GO TO THE FAIRVIEW, NJ LOCATION! THE MANAGER IS AN UNPROFESSIONAL JERK! ANYONE ELSE I KNOW THAT HAS GONE THERE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE! CORPORATE NEEDS TO FIRE THE MANAGER! EVEN THE MECHANICS HATE THE GUY! MY TRUCK WAS RHERE OVER 24 HOURS TO FIX THE SHIFTER SND IT WAS NEVER EVEN INSPECTED! THE MANAGER SAID THEY DON'T DO THAT KIND OF WORK AND HE BLAMED IT ON THE FRONT END GUY SAYING "He's new. He doesn't know anything. We don't do service like this. We only do tires and brakes.: HE DIDNT EVEN WANT TO JUMPSTART MY TRUCK! ONE OF THE OTHER MECHANICS CAME OUT AND DID IT FOR US. FIRE THE MANAGER!!!

Had an appointment at 11:45am, did not get my car until about 3. I was told it would be 1.5 hours. I just needed my tire plugged because it had a nail in it. I had to call to check on my car because I was shocked it was taking them so long. In the time span that my friends and I waited, we went to two different restaurants so it wasn t a big deal but for the sake of this review and honesty, the service was extremely too slow.

Scheduled an appointment and got a confirmation online. My assumption was that by them confirming the reservation, it meant that the tires were already in stock, and that the tire replacement would take place at the scheduled time. Instead, the person at the counter told me that it is being shipped and will not get there for another 4 hours, and 2 hours on top of that to replace my tires.Then the guy tried to sell me different set of tires that are in stock (reviews for one of them said it s unsafe) and padded the estimated cost with extra services that I did not ask for in my original estimate. What s the point of making a reservation? Why confirm the reservation when the tire requested is not in stock? Would not recommend

Wilson was very professional and helped me coordinate my install. He is also very patient because I thought there was a mix up with my appointment, and it was actually my fault. Still got the job done on time so I can make an appointment with my client later this afternoon. I am very greatful for the team here.
