A coworker recommended fishers and I m so happy she did . They came n towed my car to the shop and delivered it back to me free of charge. Their website was easy to follow and they were very nice and professional about everything. Went to what I thought was still fisher transmission Didn t know they changed but 2nd gear had a shudder when it would shift after them doing. A 400 dollar flush the truck did shift better but still had a shudder but softer one. Well after me dojng my own research my battery volts were dipping and going back up after getting battery tested at auatozome and replacing it it completely fixed myTrans problem and the truck runs great but only after I changed the battery Long story short they paying top dollar you would think they would know thatService: Transmission

Broke down on the highway, towed my car here and the guys repaired my car right away after picking up what needed to replaced. Great crew, great work, highly recommend

they are always wonderful to deal with. Very polite and professional. The price to get the transmission rebuilt in my truck was also very reasonable. I had a small issue a couple of months down the road post rebuild and they took care of it right away. Strongly recommend this shop.

First time at this garage and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the friendly and professional service that Fisher Automatic Transmission gave me. Steve was very honest and up-front about the issue(s) my vehicle had and the costs associated with it. They do not over charge or up charge for parts as most other places do. They specialize in both modern and antique vehicles and have a staff of only the highest trained technicians. They completed the work to my complete satisfaction and I can't thank them enough for getting my car back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend Fisher Automatic Transmission to anyone with any car. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

Been bringing my cars and their mysterious issues to Fisher for almost a decade. One of the only honest shops in the area. They will be the first to tell you your car's issue is actually easy to fix yourself or not worth fixing at all before charging you for unnecessary work. Their diagnostics have always been accurate. Standard rates for the area but you'll know the work will be done correctly and carefully.

Fast pickup from tow truck, fast service, with a warranty at a fair market rate. Truck went in the shop on my way to work and was able to pick it up that same day after work.

My Dad has a transmission replaced at Fischer 1980....Here we are 2020- my Moms transmission went on her 2001 Honda Civic.I would never go anywhere else for any car repair. They have QQ cars - quite a few they work on.Service super professionalQuality work in stated time.Don t go anywhere elseThank you Steven-Greg-Fisher transmission!!!

I had purchased an '06 Toyota Avalon through Fisher Auto last April when my Jeep suddenly died. My family has already bought 2 cars from them that were fixed up from auction - both delivered plenty of value for $$ spent. This Toyota is no different and is worth every penny. Steve was helpful, honest, and efficient - a pleasure to deal with.

I spent 138 dollars in a diagnosis that did not solve anything, they only told me that it was an electrical problem that I had to fix first, in which they wanted 1500 dollars and after that they could see if the problem in the transmission was mechanical ... anyway 1500 dollars for This electrical repair is a scam i will never return to this place again

Fisher Auto Transmission is run and staffed by true professional technicians. I had a multitute of issues with my older Camaro and they solved every needed repair flawlessly and surprisingly quick. You will see vehicles of all vintages and years in their shop. They have the knowledge and expertise that is becoming more and more difficult to find in automotive repair. Fisher Auto Transmission replaced the clutch in my Mini Cooper S after a "specialty" Mini shop did a poor job of installing one. The parts installed by the specialty shop destroyed themselves when the transmission locked up on a downshift. Fisher did a great job of replacing the defective parts and the clutch they installed lasted for the life of the car (from 110k to 210k miles). I found Fisher's staff to be knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. I am about to use their services again.

Dealership found a major transmission leak. I dropped my car off here on a Wednesday, they took about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and give a verbal quote, and I got my car back the next day. Came in under estimate. Thanks!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Fisher Auto has been in business for over 60 years! I don't believe a company could last that long if they were "absolute garbage". Anyone who has ever been to the shop can tell you that it is the number one place to bring your vehicle, whether its late model, antique or specialty. For those looking for a top-notch repair shop, Fisher Auto fits that bill without question!

took my 2008 hyundai with only 60,000 miles to them with a small transmission fluid leak. I had previously been to Hyundai service and they told me that they would have to drop the tran ($500) to find the problem and then they might not be able to fix it and I might have to replace the tran ($3700).Steve instead tried to fix the problem inexpensively first , before moving on to more expensive. After a few tries (new o-ring/sealant/tightening) the problem was solved ! and he only charged my $70 !!Extremely reputable, knowledgeable and honest! I wiil certainly be taking my car to them in the future for any future auto issues.,

Buyer beware! I found Fisher Transmission to less than professional when dealing with mechanical problems after gaining possession and test driving the car. For example they installed a new 3.73 ring and pinion gear. The back lash was over spec. by one.four thousands and caused a loud deceleration noise. They also only installed one new axel bering not a matched new pair left and right.The cross member that holds the new 700 R4 transmission in place was 5/8 to low causing the operating angle of the drive shaft to vibrate wildly at (critical speed) from day one of the test drive. After taking the vehicle out for a long distance spin. The vibration from the operating angle was so bad that the tin governor cap came off at mile marker 252. Cost to tow vehicle 780.00 Fisher didn't offer to pay for the tow from mm 252 back to New York State. Fisher did fix the governor cap they even washed the car even thou it was't dirty. The operating angle was never fixed properly. When I complained they offered a list of imaginary tasks they performed to correct the problem, more snow. Another problem I discovered was the started bolts were not the right length and were not properly tightened. After a few weeks of driving I discovered the hard way after I engaged the starter it sheared off one of the bolts in the bottom of engine block. Then there was the issue of their "little mechanic" who used my car as his own personal punching bag with managements full knowledge and approval. Whom ever, chipped the paint job on my classic car in as many as 58 places. Remedy, more snow. So buyer beware! Be very very cautious of this repair shop and their poor workmanship. Oh take a snow shovel too.
