If you need your car fixed from an honest and reliable auto mechanic, look no further than Ultimate Car Care in Fairlawn. Dave and his crew are efficient, effective and kind. They go above and beyond for their clients and we always feel safe knowing they will give us a straight honest opinion, give us options on how to best address any issues and produce work we know we can count on and trust. If I could give more than 5 stars - I would! Highly recommend!

My old Volvo failed its car inspection and I found a garage that promised me to do the inspection. When a friend off mine dropped off the car as I was dealing with medical issues, they told her they don't do inspections and also lied about other things. I found Ultimate Car Care by chance. The owner Dave helped me to get my car fixed and through inspection but I was truly impressed by his professionalism, honesty and service that went above and beyond. I will trust Ultimate Car Care for all my car needs. Truly 5 star!

Wish I could give 10 stars! As a single woman who doesn't know a lot about cars I am often nervous when I have to go to a mechanic. Ultimate Car Care was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I took my Scion there. The owner Dave was very kind, explained everything that needed to be done , and his crew got the job done quickly. His workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Finally, the prices were way lower than I was expecting which is unusual in this day and age! I highly recommend Ultimate Car Care if you are looking for a mechanic who is honest, responsive, reasonably priced and committed to caring for your car as if it were his own.

I 'd been searching for a reliable car mechanic for decades, and had never been able to find one. Horrible customer service, never fixed the car properly, etc. We were looking for a AAA approved dealer and AAA recommended Ultimate Car Car on Plaza road in Fair Lawn. And boy am I glad they did. The garage is clean and orderly, the staff is efficient, knowledgeable and honest, and their customer service is second to none. The Captain of the ship is Dave. Mari handles the billing and Julio is the lead technician. They treat each other like family and treated me like family too. They even eat lunch together and celebrate birthdays together like family. Dave gave me an honest assessment of my problem, never tried to upsell me, and tried to save me as much money as he possibly could. He even took time out his busy day to fight fight with my crappy extended warranty company Endurance (they are a rip off and will try their level best to avoid paying your claim). They denied my claim but I'll be damned if Dave didn't give it his all. Dave and his team fixed my car at a fair and affordable price (shout out to Dave, Mari, and Julio) and quickly despite having so many other cars to fix. When u call Dave he always answers or calls u back within the hour, and he explains and re- explains the problem, how he intends to fix the problem, and the final cost. After my car, the team fixed my mother's car and she too was delighted. From this point forward, No one else but Ultimate Car Care will repair our vehicles. Thanx Dave, Mari and Julio!

I want to take a second to recognize Ultimate Car Care and the owner Dave for not only doing great mechanic work but bringing an old school neighborhood business feel to Fair Lawn and the surrounding areas. Dave has been a huge help with our family vehicles and has gone above and beyond in a way you don t see in modern days. If your in need of a mechanic and worried your going to feel screwed over or taken advantage of, come to Ultimate Car Care. Car issues are stress enough. Deal with somebody honest who isn t going to screw you over.

Great service , been coming for 4 years. First of all the gas is cheap2ndly I always come here for minor repairs for my cars, Dave is very knowledgeable always answers my questions.They give me utmost attention. Highly recommend.

Got a flat tire at 6:30 pm on a Saturday nite. Dave was leaving and came back in and patched the tire so that I could get home. Then I returned on Monday and gave me a good deal on the tire.Dave, the owner, is a good guy.

Dave is owner of that car care facility. He is wonderful , very courteous and have a skillful workers . His price estimates is so competitive and he do great job In comparison to other car repair. I recommend you at least go once there and see the huge difference. Such a great service. Marisol works there as Administration Assistant and she is very helpful and enthusiastic. I got great price for my car brakes service and battery. Dave s goal is to satisfy the customer and he do .

I have very good experience with mechanic Dave my sister bought her car then somebody totaled her parked car so she bought another car from him my another sister husband bought car from him .And of course all our car repairing goes to him he is very honest and knowledgeable personEven I have a mechanic right front of my job but I always prefers to go to dave ultimate car care

I recently took my vehicle here to replace the clutch on my manual car. The owner Dave was extremely helpful and fair with explaining what needed to be done. He gave me a ballpark number of around $1,500-$1,600, but he did make it clear that that was just a rough estimate and it could easily go up a few more hundred dollars. When I went to pay he told me that the total charges were closer to $1,900 which I still was willing to pay since they basically replaced my entire clutch system, only took one day to do it, and I also gave him permission to do whatever he needed to do the day before. Dave told me that he felt bad that that was the price and lowered it another $200 so that it was only $1,700. This was extremely thoughtful and did not in any way have to be done as he made it clear that the initial price was just a ballpark. He also offered me the option to pay in cash, card or check. I told him that I wanted to pay in cash so as to not increase my credit card bill, and he told me that I could still take the car and come back with the cash a few days later, which is what I did. It was clear that he was operating out of respect and integrity, and I would highly recommend dealing with a person like that. As an aside, the actual repair was quick and efficient, and hopefully my almost 15 year old car will last another 10 years.

Ultimate Car Care took in our car for a sudden urgent repair on a rainy Friday evening even as they were closing. They were courteous, efficient and did a great job. Thank you for helping us on such short notice and fitting us in even though you were busy and it was end of day.

Im not originally from the area, and it was chance how I came across ultimate car care, but glad I did.Great people, who are very resourceful. Have taken good care of me since day 1. I definitely recommend bringing whatever you may have going on, here. Very fair pricing for quality work.

Thankful for ultimate car care s work! They helped and went above and beyond in my time of need! They took care of my vehicle with urgency. Explained everything thoroughly and ensured of my safety. He doesn't even deserve 1 star.. Dave is a shady guy.. make sure you get a itemized on repairs before he starts a job.. took advantage of my 20 year old Daughter called police and he went against his word.. not good business he did work that wasn't approved and held her car hostage until we paid him for it..SHAME ON YOU bad business

Genuine miracle worker. Dave is a vehicular surgeon and will go above and beyond to make sure you get the best possible prices and care. Straightforward, easy to talk to, and VERY timely. If you are even remotely close to this place, take any vehicle you have to this man s angelic hands, and it will run good as new. PS: this man will also drive FAR AND WIDE to bring you to his automobilic oasis if you need towing.Services: Electrical, Vehicle Inspection

Broke down on the first day of our trip from Maine to NJ so far from home, we had no idea what to do. Lo and behold, Dave came to our rescue! He immediately sourced the part we needed, and fixed it right there on the spot. My family and I were on our way to start our vacation less than 2 hours after we broke down. We absolutely cannot thank him enough!! Best service ever. Truly. Thank you, Dave!

I took my truck in to get repaired and they did an amazing job. Dave kept me informed throughout the repair as to what my truck needed and how much it was going to cost me. I Brought my 2008 Hummer H3 to get my transmission re-built after the car being there for two weeks I finally got it back. After one month the transmission stopped working I called Dave the owner and he told me he was to busy fixing his own cars and refused to fix the transmission.Service: Transmission repairService: Transmission repair

These guys are brilliant. They identified the problem in 10 mins after my car was in their garage, ordered all necessary parts, fixed my car quite fast, were very honest about which parts need to be replaced and gave me options to choice. Prices are reasonable. I'm happy to found this shop! Highly recommend! Thank you Dave!

I brought my truck here to get fixed and Dave was really great to work with. Not only did he fix my alignment and wheel issues, but he fixed a few other things that were wrong at an excellent price. I will definatley be taking all my vehicles to Dave.

My husband purchased a car from Dave in May, he understandably didn t have the title ready due to the DMV being closed from Coronavirus. The DMV has been open for quite some time now and Dave tells my husband constantly he will have the title ready and it still hasn t happened and we re now in October. I am on my way to file a police report. Buyer beware!
