I was surprised to see the low rating percentile. My personal experiences have always been great. They stay busy but I have not one complaint. What I will say is that the Firestone Credit Card sucks. I cannot wait to pay it off! I feel like my balance never goes down, even when I pay extra! The actual location is great though and the guys are usually very proficient!

Service was top notch; we received calls to give updates on the repairs. Customer service was great. Highly recommend! Counter Staff, Diana is always friendly and respectful to all of her customers. The mechanics left my car clean and well serviced.The the multipoint check, I was advised of what my car needs.Thank you

Tyler, the store's manager, in addition to knowing his business, is friendly, helpful and accommodating. He is the reason I stick with Firestone Complete Auto Care. Tyler treats his customers with respect and explains exactly what your vehicle's needs are. He does not try to "up sell" you and suggests only what your vehicle needs.It is a pleasure working with Tyler and I trust him implicitly.It should be noted that the store is clean and has a waiting area should you choose to wait for your vehicle.Do not hesitate to take your vehicle to Firestone Auto Care in Elmwood Park, NJ.

Wife had a blowout today and called this location for help. Mike answered and was eager to get us back on the road. Checked inventory and had the exact tire and model.When I arrived there was no wait and was assisted immediately. They checked the current tire to see if it could be saved. I ended up buying a new tire and was back on the road. Total time 28 minutes. Cant ask for any better then that!!

Took my car here to get a tire fixed, they told me they could not fix it and that it would need to be replaced for 300 dollars. I took the car back home near me to a local shop and they fixed the tire in 10 mins for 35 bucks and it works fine. The team here seems like they don t want to work, the manager looks like he just rather let his team do and say whatever instead of inspecting the work.

I am not one to write bad reviews on any bad situation. There are times the truth needs to be said. Here is one.Today, I went to purchase some tires. I needed two for the front. I shopped online the last few days and settled on this company. I was lied to by Antonio, about a store policy and other issues with the purchase. I went for some inexpensive tires for my jeep. Only because I wanted to have something, before I make a decision on which way I will go with the vehicle. I had setup an appointment for tires I wanted. Never showed on the screen. I came in before my appointment and explained that I wanted inexpensive tires. I drive less than 100 miles a week. I was offered $96 Bridgestone Destination tires. Since BF Goodridge had issues, I will not be buying Bridgestone Firestone tires. When I explained that I wanted cheap tires, I was told I cannot mix and match tires on my jeep... But, if I have 4 Nexen tires on my jeep, wouldn't the Destination tires be a mix and match? That is when I told him, I am a mechanic and that was pear BS. Then he told me, that I would have to match all my tires because I have a four wheel drive vehicle and that it is company policy. I was getting very annoyed. I explained to him, that that was BS. I called corporate and asked them. As they stated that policy applies to AWD (full time All Wheel Drive) SUVs. Like the Acura MDX AWD. Finally, I got the tires I needed, after having the tires shipped from Saddle Brook. I could have driven the few minute drive over there. Took 45 minutes. I get the tires, told them I had a lock for the lug nuts. All was good. I get my jeep back and was never told the key was twisted when they were working on it. Antonio looked me dead in the face. No one mention of it. I get to my jeep, they never placed the new tires on the rear, as they company display said. I was never given a wheel alignment check, as company policy said. I had to file a damage report for the key. I have to go back for the free wheel alignment and to have the tires rotated.This has been, by far, a horrible experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone. If you do, please do the following. Remove locking lugs (if you can), ensure that everything is spelled out on the paperwork. Know what the company offers. Ensure there aren't damages to your vehicle and before you leave, make sure the job is completed as asked.

Visited this location last week. My tire was leaking air, and my husband had a flat. We arrived 1.5 hours before closing. Despite being understaffed, they were able and willing to replace my tire plus another one that I needed (they ordered my husband's as they don't carry the type he needed). The employee, Andrew, was beyond patient, considerate, and understanding. He graciously stayed a bit later to help me and finish the job. I would highly recommend this service. I was pleased and very appreciative!

I think Firestone lifetime alignment is a ripoff. I did all my alignment at Firestone because i have the lifetime alignment warranty and in just over a year all my tires balled on the inside. The last time i went for a alignment and oil chance it was done in 45 mins. very poor job and now i need 4 new tires. I file a complaints with head office and all i was told that i would get a call within 48 hours every week and never did. Stay away from the lifetime alignment warranty it is a big ripoff

I only used this place because my tire was blown and it s the closest. We arranged it so that I would come in on my reservation at 11. I arrived at 11. I was told a 25 min wait. After 30 mins it was not done. I had to point this out saying I have a reservation and was told to wait 25 mins and it is still not done I felt I was reliving the Seinfeld episode where Jerry is questioning the car rental lady about holding his reservation. This is ridiculous. What s the point of a reservation!?

I entered the facility and had to stand with no acknowledgement. Once a sales person acknowledged me (the one furthest from me by about six feet), he did not stand up and come to the counter. There were no markings for social distancing and no barriers, so perhaps that was why.Nonetheless, I had to yell my needs out to him so he could hear me. He did not take any detailed information or ask any questions. I specifically told him I had concerns about my alternator and that it had been replaced twice. He later called me and said the issue was that my battery was leaking. I approved the repair but NO OTHER RECOMMENDED REPAIRS WERE MENTIONED BY HIM DURING THE CALL. I asked about repair of my headlights, for which one is noticeably more dim than the other and I asked for that to be repaired. When I returned to pick up my car, no repair had been done on the headlights. No one explained the work that was done and no one told me anything about any recommended services that I allegedly had declined. A serviceman signed for my debit card on the atm card reader without my consent and handed me the invoice thereafter with no explanation - which I assumed was a COVID precaution but still questioned the legality of that. I rode home and after starting to run errands thinking the car was repaired, it stalled out and I could not start it. I then read the invoice seeking to call to complain and noticed a "declined work" note relating to my alternator belts. This repair was never offered on the two calls I had with the shop, nor mentioned when I picked up the car and I specifically informed the shop of concerns about my alternator. There also was a notation on the invoice stating that I had approved an increase in price. I had only approved an increase in price for the work related to my headlights which was not done. I would never send someone here ever. I would love to know what executive order allows them to sign for debit and credit cards on behalf of customers without their consent. Their COVID-19 safety practices are lacking. They wasted my time and money and I wonder now if my battery actually had any issue because there was no battery check light on. EVER. This was the worst experience I have had with a repair shop in 20 years.

Highly recommended!I had a wonderful experience at Firestone complete auto care in Elmwood Park. The gentleman that assisted me was very attentive to my concerns and did what he could to help make my experience as pleasant as possible. There was a little Waite but that s to be expected and it was not too extreme. Also I ve been coming to this location for several years now and it is the only place that I get my oil changed.Service: Oil change

I had a great experience. It s Sunday, Labor Day Weekend and while others turned me away, Andrew, took my info and fit me in after driving from Florida to ensure my oil was changed; and all else looked good with tires and performed wheel alignment. Went today for wheel alignment, Andrew did it and came out telling me that I have 2 screws in one of my tires, that I purchased there last year, but since I have a tires from them with a protection plan he will patch it with no cost. I waited 2hrs and 30 min inside he came out very happy telling me that he exchange both back tires because he couldn t patch 2 wholes. I asked him who aproved new tires so he said don t worry I ll give you discount . I said I won t pay for new tires to put the old one back . So he did put the old one back and magically they are perfectly fine , nothing on on my dashboard that there is a problem either tire air or anything else. Avoid that guy and make sure they doing what you came for . It is a scam!!!!Service: Wheel alignment

Employees are very friendly, even tho they are always understaffed they still manage to get work done on time and will let you know if something will take a bit longer than expected. Been going here for years, prices aren t the best but that s a corporate matter and something relative to Firestone across the board. The elmwood park location is great and the folks who work there are even better.

Only tire shop that was open near me at 7am. Got there about 7:30 told the man, I just needed a plug on a used tire I bought 3days ago. I express to him was pressed for time and had to be to work by 8:15. 30mins passed the guys from the back and tells me that the rim on my passenger side had a crack and would be a problem later. I m looking so confused because I told them I didn t have time for them to check anything else. My tire didn t get checked or patched and I was late for work. Next time they should really listen to the customers needs.

Scheduled an appointment ahead of time for an oil change. Arrived early to drop off the vehicle. Returned an hour after the appointment time. Work on vehicle was not completed. Company failed to contact me regarding any issues they encountered or to tell me they could not do the work. I had to take the vehicle to another place for the oil change. Job was completed at the other business with no problems.

Totally dishonest and untrustworthy. We ve been coming here for years and had no issues until recently. It s always some issue that prevents them from returning the car the same day, whether they received a wrong part or they were backed up it s ridiculous. My husband dropped his car off for a noise and they said it was a belt. They supposedly replaced the belt, but it s still making the same noise but now they swear they can t hear it. Again, this took over 24 hours and when my husband picked the car up, the tank was literally on empty - 0 miles left in the tank when there was just under 1/4 tank when it was dropped off. Never again!

After horrendous experience at a different location and the online system not finalizing my appointment at Elmwood Park, the service manager took my call heard my story and told me to drop my car off. Told me they were shorthanded but my car wouldn't be held hostage and they'd get to it. I got a call in three hours verifying my issue was only dealer solvable, he waived the diagnostic fee, and I got my car back. Thank you!

SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! I went with my truck, I need my tires alignment. I Show one of the employees the work and they told me the tires were ok. I went couple hours after and nothing done because need new tires! Waist of time!!!THE WORTS PART OF SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!My wife went with her brand new car (20'000miles) the only thing she need was tires alignment and got done. She went months later to the dealership for service and they told her she needs new tires. After that we realized the tires were Dunlop tires... We bought the car with Michelin tires and the dealer told us it was supposed to be Michelin tires. After that we realized that Firestone switched our new Michelin tires for older used Dunlop tires. Avoid that place!!! They will scam you and try to steal your good tires!!!

The experience was very complicated. On my car's screen (dash), the engine light illuminated. My husband had used a code reader and it showed a problem with the turbo boost. I called Firestone, brought the car in and it was diagnosed. To my amazement, the guy told me it was the turbo, but he said it needs to be replaced, we don't work on turbos here. What? I'm thinking, why didn't you tell me that? So now I have to bring it somewhere else! Just so everyone knows, they don't work on turbos there, maybe they can do other stuff not so complicated?

Took my 2020 chevy silverado here for a wheel alignment. 20 minutes After they brought my truck in the tech comes out and tells me they can't do it because the lasers on the machine wont pick up my tires. Really! Thanks for nothing, i've had it done previosly at firestone of saddle brook, i guess i'll head back there.

I had the most wonderful experience here. After moving from queens I was desperately in need of an oil change and a quick google search revealed this Firestone location. I came in after having a bad day and not only did Andrew at the front who was extremely kind courteous and efficient fit me in the schedule but they took care of my vehicle and I was on my way in an hour! They definitely turned my day around completely. I will be benefitting from making an appointment in the future for all our car needs but I cannot stress enough what a painless and day I say enjoyable car service experience this was for me.

Please stay away from this place , took my car to get checked because I believed the strut was bent and needed replacing , I told them that and I dropped it off the next day. They called me back a couple of hours later saying my tires were the wrong size and that was it . They didn t even check the struts or the car at all. Left it there as it is. I told them if they can actually check it and they said to drop it off again. Came back the next day for them to tell me that it s the tires again and they tried to charge me 180 for a diagnosis They said they would work with me and they wouldn t give me the keys until I paid 120! when they literally never looked at the car at all . It was left in their parking space for 2 days ! They will scam you . please stay away from this place !!!!
