I think your "no return policy" on tools is Absolutely ridiculous! I was given some pretty bad advice about a tool that I had no clear idea how to use and was told that it was suitable for my needs. Turns out, it wasn't suitable at All and now I'm out $30 just because others have Abused the privilege of being able to return items. I understand the need to protect your Profits, but in some cases it's unfair and makes people want to shop elsewhere!...And I would appreciate it if you would save the Generic response to this Post and offer a solution instead...or just remain silent and lose a valuable Customer. Thanks again...Who exactly am I supposed to reach out too? Pretty sure I'll get an employee who will Remind me of the same thing I'm already complaining about if I call the store. Or even worse, a manager that is Obligated to tell me Their "hands are tied)...

Its so slow here it doesnt matter if it looks empty they still take forever and only have one person in the front. Been here for 10 min waiting and still havent been helped smh and thats that im only here to pick up a package. Horrible service!

You should put more professional people to work at your stores. Today one of the employees came to the front and asked another employee a question. And that woman after searching the computer began to insult her. And it's kind of a pity because the employee told her to be calm that she wouldn't speak to her like that in front of the customers and once the employee she insulted walked away she continued telling her if you don't like it, you can leave telling her I don't know how you are a manager if you don't know anything. I saw the other one who came quietly trying to avoid the commotion leave with her eyes watered. No one should be treated in this way at a work place. Those things should not happen in front of the customers and even more if they are good employees. I don't know why you put that woman in that store I have seen her react this way multiple times. I hope they take this into consideration and get rid of that women.

I needed to have my battery checked because my car was giving me trouble to start. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful both on the phone and in person. The man who checked my battery and replaced it was very knowledgeable. Even though the store was busy the wait time was short and the job was done quickly. I appreciate the man and the young lady who helped me by phone on helping me make the best decision for my needs by suggesting I do a battery check before purchasing online. She was professional and also explained the store policy on returns in which was why I decided to go to this specific store location vs another store that was closer to home. In my experience both employees provided excellent customer service. I left a happy customer. I give them !

Horrible service, I went to buy a battery and they wouldn t install it cuz it s after 7:30pm and I totally understand that but they would not let me use the tool to do it myself. They said they don t have it while I seen it right behind the rep smh

Yesterday, when I was going back home my car got overheated, I saw an auto parts store so I pulled over and I ran for antifreeze, this store is a medium to large size place with a big parking lot, employees were taking care of customers. The main CSR person while he was attending a client told me right away where to go for antifreeze. All the employees were actively helping people. I m impressed by their efficiency, dedication and professionalism. Thanks for your excellence service Advance Auto Parts!

Customer service got us the parts we needed and offered to help set us up with a mechanic to help fix my car window. But the mechanic never showed up. But they checked to make sure that we were able to put our lights in. Overall service was not bad.

The customer service here are really knowledgeable about parts and they greet you upon entering the store even if they're busy they still acknowledge you and come to your assistance I was surprised that they had some parts in stock being that I had a car that's 20 years old I didn't have to order some drums for my brakes but they had everything else I was pleased

Came here to get a headlight for my car gave my car information to the sale person and he gave me the wrong one, went back to change it and I got this attentive pleasant young man his name is William. He got me the right one. Very happy with his service!

I left my house in such a great mood, to my surprise I felt like I wanted to disrespect this cashier.She was so disrespectful and I will never stop here again. They made me feel like they had better things to do.She then told me she can't wait and she not gonna cash me out ... Don't ever call or go here gene is the worst

Of all the Advanced Auto Parts stores the ones in Elizabeth (Newark Ave) & Newark (Clinton Ave & Astor St.) are my favorite to visit. The staff at both of them are very acknowledged & very helpful.At the Elizabeth store, the man at register #3 (William S.) taught me a few helpful tips about car batteries. I'm so thankful to him for that.

My wife places the online order. I Walk into the store about 15 minutes before closing. I wait in line to pick up the order. The order wasn't ready. The worker tells me he needs my wife to show her ID. I said sure il make her come in. I was the last customer. I ask the guy are you going to get the order he says yes. Another worker walks me out. I ask him are you going to let my wife in. He says yes as soon as I walked away he locked the door. Piece of you know what workers. All they had to do was hand me the order that was already placed and paid for. They didnt let me or my wife back in. My wife had to go the next day to pick up the order.

I like this particular advance Auto parts store they give very good advice whenever I ask the question. and so far each one that has helped me also helps me save money by giving me good advice so I don't buy unnecessary things

Called, Spoke to Paul about spark plug champion L87YC . Stated had a few 4 in stock. I live about 2 miles away. Got there in 10 mins. Spoke to Paul and out of stock. By the way it's not a popular spark plug it for small engines like snowblower and lawn equipment. Will tell everyone call ahead for part and get names. I want be returning to that store.

So the service sucks here. They need more people on the floor, I've gone here a few times and always regret it. Same guy always there an really doesn't know how to help... they need to hire more knowledgeable workers.

I bought a portable car heater . It kept blowing up my car fuse i tried to returned it they told me i cant because is electrical. So ended staying with a defected heater waste of money wont buy there again.

Yonkers establishment was having issues processing credit card payments as their system was updating. Placing an on line order for pick-up got around this problem but the counter help did NOT volunteer use of on line ordering as an option.
