Took my car in to have my brakes checked out. I was given an estimate of $660 which seemed high so I decided to get another estimate. The man working the front desk didn't seem too happy about that which made me feel even better about my decision. Took it somewhere else and paid $350 and had a much better customer service interaction. I used to like this place, but not anymore.

Monroe Auto always does an amazing job on my vehicle. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and have great prices. I have taken my previous cars and continue to be a loyal customer. Ed provides great customer service and appreciates your business. Thank you for not being "average"!

I typically am very impressed by my experiences at Monro. However, this time -I Dropped my car off at 8:00am on a Thursday for windshield wiper motor replacement, communication about the issue and updates on ordering part/service was minimal I had to call myself multiple times. Also, I was given the quote of $592 for parts and labor. When I went to pick up my vehicle-my total was $725 .i wish I was informed of the additional part needed and charges prior to pick up. I hope this experience was a fluke or otherwise I may need to consider shopping around, which is unfortunate because I have been coming here for years for multiple vehicles and always give a 5-star rating. In addition, I asked them to check out a headlight that was out while it was there it was not checked and when I inquired about it at pick up-they said they could prob do it but charge additional labor.

Brought my car in for brakes.. which I had lifetime warranty . New manger would not believe me but had all my receipts going back to 2019 which stated life warranty. I called Corporate and they refunded me immediately, they had the info in their computer. Will bring to another Monroe .

I highly recommend going this place. Ed at the front desk is very friendly and kind. He tried to accommodate my oil change with my tight schedule. The price is also really reasonable for oil change. This place is a gem. Don t think twice. Go there if you need anything with your car. They will take good care of you. Highly recommended.

I love Ed and the new team. I read some of the low reviews and I don't believe then at all! I was not a fan of the old manager but Ed is the best! I would recommend this place over all the other shops around. Prices are better, they always have knowledge, and they are friendly. Keep up the good work guys!From Haiti with love

Excellent service and absolutely honest mechanics run it. Always get lube job is best. Just had another one on my truck and 2 weeks passed and I saw one drop oil in my driveway. Rushed over. They seen a simple leak and not only fixed but added all new fluids all covered in warranty. Trucks perfect again

I went because of engine light issue, The front desk guy just took my money before they start the job, and did not explained me well what was wrong with my car either. they just printed a receipt with multiple possible cause and never offered me solutions either. ( I don't think they know what customer service is ).

The person that I dealt with was Ed, he is straight forward and ment what he said. I had my rear brakes replaced the rotators and break pads replace and I called all around and they wanted between $400-$550 however Monro definitely beat everyone else prices, I told my self this is my new car shop I will be taking my car to from now on.Great work guys Thanks

I ve been getting my car fixed at this auto shop for 3 years and will continue to utilize their services. Their mechanics are phenomenal & their customer service is the best I ever seen. The prices are extremely reasonable and competitive to other automotive shops around the area and I recommend this shop to all the locals!

Highly recommend. Norval has always been professional and patient, as has everyone I have spoken with. When I can't diy it myself, I bring my car here. They have always fixed it perfectly for a great price. Thank you gentlemen.

Came in to get a rim replaced, manager was extremely helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. He was also helping another customer with honesty and integrity and did everything he could to not only for him to feel safe when they were leaving with their car as there were some safety concerns but also the owner. He was again, very professional and courteous with their budget constraints and was willing to work with them the best he could! GREAT JOB

Came in Labor Day to get a flat tire replaced. Even though they were only staffed to do oil changes on the holiday, Ed at Monro was able to replace my flat, and completed the service earlier than expected. Huge thanks to Ed, would definitely recommend going here for service!

Been coming here for several months now. Absolutely love the guys who work there. They're very honest, knowledgeable, kind people. Just left after having a pretty big repair done, and my car is driving like new. Highly recommend

We have been coming this Monro for a few years now, and it has always been a great experience. They never try to nickel and dime you, and they are extremely honest which is hard to find these days. Specifically, Ed Collins, one of the managers is extremely knowledgeable, personable and just overall really helpful! You feel like he really cares about your car, and safety and is definitely a priority. He is perfectionist to make sure it s done correctly.

I had tried this place several times and suddenly there's been a significant discrepancy with their prices, they tried to sell me 4 tires for $700 and I had to pay $110 for an oil change. They promote an oil change starting at around $40 but based on who they can screw over you will pay a higher price. This is greed at its finest. I'm all for fairness but this place is not trustworthy. Be aware!UPDATE: Local manager reached out after reading my review and told me that prices are coming from Corporate and offered to refund my charges. He stated that my review only affects the local franchise and not Corporate offices.

I made an appointment for 5/11/23 with the Egg Harbor Township location. When I checked back later in the day, I was informed that the master mechanic had called out sick and the car wasn t worked on. Could have called me and had me come get my car.I made a new appointment for 5/13/23 for the same issue. Dropped it off early. Called to check on it about 3:30 and was told that they were still working on it and they would call when it was finished. At 5:30pm I went there to see if my car was ready and I did not see it. I figured it was being test driven to see if the check engine light was on. I spoke to the person at the desk who mentioned that my vehicle was taken to another shop by the manager. I was never called to inform me that my car was being taken elsewhere without my permission. I was then informed that the shop that my vehicle was taken to had closed early and I couldn t get the car until Monday. Who knows who s driving my car right now and this is totally unacceptable. Basically Monro stole my car. Monro s motto is TRUST. I think they failed miserably at living up to their motto. I wasn t even informed to what store my car was taken to. If they didn t know how to do the job, then I should have been informed of that and I would have just taken the car to the dealership

My wife and I use to have great experiences at this location. The last couple of times though, after a $600 repair with a new battery and water pump, the vehicle wouldn't start the next day. When we looked under the hood, the battery cable conductors were not even tight on the battery and they were filled with corrosion. We fixed it ourselves with a $7 piece. Also, we usually take our vehicle there for an oil change and after the last time, we found out that our bolt on our oil pan was stripped. They were the only ones who had done it for at least 5 years in a row. They have now completely lost our business.

When looking for a shop; good reviews and able to see me the next day we re most important. Wow what a mistake.I took my Jeep here because I needed REAR brakes. Since my front brakes were also getting old I figured replace them also.My truck has been there three times and it still makes noises. 1st visit to get the brakes replaced. After leaving the truck was making more noise stopping than when I came in. The second time they had it I hoped they would fix the noisy front brakes. They said they fixed it. Lasted about 10 miles then the noises returned. The third time in they replaced the rear brakes again. The noise is and was in the front. When I picked my truck I got almost home before I heard the same noise. Now we call for a fourth time, and they tell me to take it somewhere else and maybe they can fix it but we won t look at it again.Now they have the nerve to call me, and ask why I called my credit card before giving them a chance to fix it. But they told me to take it somewhere else after not fixing my brakes, refusing to fix my brakes. They got my money and refuse to fix my car properly. Why would I would let them touch my car again?And to top it all off I lost two additional days of work due to not having my car due to their repairs.If I could leave zero stars I would.Strongly do not recommend

I was rushed traveling across country with my family and Sean the manager and Dan the mechanic took great care of me. Got me in a timely manner and ensured my vehicle was done properly and safe for my leg home. Big shout out and thanks to you both.. we made it back home safe with peace of mind to you both. When backnin town and if any mechanical needs oil change or brakes again, will definitely be back. Highly recommend to all searching for a dependable trust worthy place.

Edited 04/25/23. The only place after 5pm that was willing to patch my tire. They were great. I called in after a few other places told me no. Once i got there they got the car right in and tire fixed. Less then 15 min and I was back on the road. I bought a diff car. Then the tire car above. This car had alot of problems. To help save me money and time Ed and his team worked with me and carefully to address all the issues with the car. They turned my nightmare of a car into dream service and some laughs. Will be taking my vehicles there from now on.

My experience at this place was amazing. It wasn t a long wait. And the problem I had with my car was fixed right away and the manager Ed was really respectful and helpful. I will definitely be coming back to this place and I highly recommend this place
