Fortunately when the tire on my truck blew out, I was within rolling distance to Grippers. Not knowing me, but seeing my predicament, owner Gary instructed me to the garage door, rolled out a jack, and launched into installing my spare. A dirty job on a hot day, and Gary went about that task with the care and willingness as if I were a long lost dear friend. There was never a mention of cost. Asked wht Iowed him, he quoted a price that was too low, which I informed him of such. He just grinned and said with a grin, "I know". I happily gave him twice what he asked.This was not a simple tire change as on a car, but required more work and attention. This man could easily taken advantage of me and the situation. Instead, he acted as a caring good friend.I have no doubt that this is the true character of this man, and all work he performs will be very reasonably priced and properly attended with attention to details.Gary is a tall thin fellow with a pony tail, long beard, and an aura that tells you he will do you right.It is a little one man shop. Hope your experience is as rewarding as mine!
