Let me tell you my experience purchasing a vehicle at Atlantic auto group.I meet Meech Valeus the salesman and a taller gentleman I don't know his name.I inspected the vehicle and test drove the vehicle. I put a deposit down and returned a week later with my trade in on December 2nd.I took about over 5 hours to do the paperwork.3 days later im going to work in my work vehicle and i see damage on 3 tires and rims (you can see it on the pictures below December 6th) I tried calling to just get hung up on or rerouted to a totally different dealership. So i drove on a Friday the following week and talk to the General sales manager John Clark.He told me that is get all the reports on tire and safety he told me that there are good and safe. I show him the pictures (you can see it on the pictures below) and asked him do these look safe? John Clark told me no let get this right. He told me to bring the vehicle that he had to take pictures of the tires and rims.That was the following Saturday and told me i would be getting a phone call next week. well a month went by. NO CALLS NO ANSWERS from anyone.When i went to pick up my tags and registration that took them over 7 weeks again i asked when are my tires and rims being fixed?I was told i would get a phone call. 2 weeks later again NO CALLS NO ANSWERS . I went the the website and made complaint 3 days later i received a call from the parts department I made and appointment.I came in to be told that my tires and rims are not being fixed that it had to be put thought my warranty.The gentleman at the parts department told me that he told the warranty company i hit a pothole.I replied i received the vehicle let this! He replied we have to be on the same page or the tire and rims are not getting fixed! This is now 3 months of this. I didn't think i would go thought this at a big dealership and this was my first purchase from a big dealership.So one of two things here happened? Some took the vehicle out for a joy ride or the tires and rims got swapped out before i picked up the vehicle! The tires had severe damage on the sidewalls which is very dangerous! (you can see it on the pictures below) I'm shocked that this vehicle was allowed to be sold like this! VERY unprofessional! If i could give Zero stars i would!

I made an appointment online, and the service advisor explained to me that the online appointments didn't count or matter, and therefore, I had to wait even longer. What's the point of having the ability of making an appointment online if they mean nothing to the store? Also, I went over to sales to look at options for trading in my lease early into an Atlas, and the salesperson told me that VW wasn't the right brand or car and the advertisements on TV were wrong, offering the lease payments cheaper. It was obvious he didn't even want to run numbers for me or explore any options, which was very surprising for me. Also, it is wrong that I was charged a percentage to use my debit card, against the law, actually.

I bought a lovely VW Atlas from VW Atlantic City 18 months ago from a salesman called Chris - absolutely first class service but he has left.Since then the post sales service has been disgraceful. From 18 months to receiving a vehicle registration to trying to upgrade to the new atlas. I waited 4 months after putting in a sales enquiry but no response.The Sales Manager Tom sends a text about deals / offers to which I responded with detail of the entire experience- no clarification, no apology and simply sends a text 'call the dealership'!. And this is the Sales Manager - I politely respond saying 'No, when a customer is having a poor experience you should call' which he ignored.How can a so called Sales Manager set an example and drive sales when clearly he is the actual problem and not coaching as he is clueless!Very poor and as a Doctor I rarely leave negative reviews but these guys should not be customer facing.To respond to the owners message - Have you actually read the review ? If you had you would know my name, the sales managers name Tom and that I had sent messages which he has ignored so he has my number. Have you even spoken to him re this review?

The entire process was made to be stress free and easy. Was very happy with how I was treated and how everything went. I would definitely consider Atlantic Vw for another purchase being that they also sell dodge pickup trucks and moreThe 2024 VW atlas is an awesome SUV, we are very happy with it. Our sales associate was great too.

I just purchased a new 2024 VW 1.5SE Jetta this week. I began my vehicle journey with Anaya, a new sales agent in training. She was able to answer all of my questions and put me at ease while test driving. She was a sweetheart and I highly recommend her! My sales agent who sold me the Jetta was Nay. She had a lot of knowledge about the cars I was looking at and she was even able to find the exact make and model I desired. Being able to get the color I desired was a bonus! Furthermore, both sweet ladies followed up with me after my purchase to make sure myself and my growing family were enjoying the car. I highly recommend these awesome ladies to any potential customers! Just walk in and ask for Anaya and Nay.

I had the best experience with the Atlantic Auto Group! I walked in about a week ago now on a cold, snowy, MLK holiday day to just look around and to my surprise was greeted by Isaac who helped and took care of us the entire time that we were there. I was in search for a Volkswagen small SUV and Isaac introduced us to Tommy who pointed us is in the direction we were looking for. From there they encouraged me to look and test drive both the Volkswagen Tiguan and Taos. I was unfamiliar with the Taos and there was not one question Isaac or Tommy could not answer in regards to both SUVs. That made my decisions all the easier. After testing both, I ultimately I knew I wanted this gorgeous black 2024 Tiguan to be mine and from their both gentleman worked with me to give me the best options and the best and more affordable price. And if that wasn't enough, they were patient and kind and made sure I was taken care of and knew exactly what I would be taking home with me. That is where their other epic Product Specialist Joe Q. came in! He not only hopped in the show me all the bells and whistles the Tiguan had to offer, he made sure I was set up with Car Net, music and comfortability. He is a living car manual! I cannot recommended the Atlantic Auto Group more if you are in search of your dream car. They really take care of you and look out for your best interest and to me that is the most important thing. Thank you so much Isaac, Tommy, Joe and the rest of the awesome group!

Picture this -You traded in your Hyundai back in February 2023 for a Tiguan. 10/29/23 you get pulled over by a cop because the cop decided to run your plates while he was behind you at a stop light. Biggest shock of my life was being told "your license and registration has been suspended since August." I could not thank the cop enough for not towing me and fining me what would have been $1,000 because he could genuinely see I was shocked and confused. I call the DMV 10/30 to be told and asked "your license and registration have been suspended for your Hyundai.. do you still have it?" No, I have not had it since February. "The dealership never reported you no longer have the vehicle until AFTER August." Went into the dealership to get trade-in paper work that I now need to email in to be able to be reinstated. Dealt with Ahmed the "manager" who was there the night I actually bought my car... Not a single sorry, tried to actually tell me they did everything on their part correctly which obviously is not true then had the nerve to tell me "let me know if you need anything else" No bud, you and your dealership have done enough. Came on here to write this to only see this SAME EXACT issue happened to someone 6 months ago. Unfortunately, this will most likely happen to someone else again. I should have knew with all of the red flags I was presented with within the first two months of dealing with this dealership that the issues would keep coming. I get it the salesman was fairly new but any question I asked about the car while test driving it "uhhh... I will find out for you, not sure." or I already knew the answer but was seeing if the salesman knew and he would tell me "no this car does not have this feature" when it indeed did. 9 pm getting ready to drive off of the lot to go home after signing for the car, whoever cleaned the car ended up blowing my front tire. Couple of days later, something was wrong with my paper work and had to come back a few times for that. Two weeks later, one of the clips holding my exhaust snapped which dropped the exhaust almost to the ground and there were a few more issues that I have NEVER had at any other dealership. It really sucks as I love my car but will get rid of it the first chance I get to not have to deal with Atlantic ever again. Get a Volkswagen/Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler somewhere else - really not worth the headache.In response to the dealer below -YOU can contact me - you see my full name, ask Ahmed for my number.

This is my 4th vehicle that I have bought from here and this was the best sales transaction I ve had so far. I went to another dealership before I came here with my trade so I would have numbers for my trade and what I want. Of course I had my numbers prepared from research as well. The sales guy Dan asked me what my numbers were and he met them. We looked at cars and I asked that he d ride with me because I had not owned an electric before. He showed me all the functions and rode with me. Even after the sale, I had questions and he was happy to help. I ve had sales deals in the past and after signing they push you to servicing so when he was patient enough to walk me through I was very grateful. Above and beyond expectations! Thanks Dan!

Look for Joe Quaranta- seasoned salesman, patient, listen to your needs. Very down to earth person, yet professional and knowledgeable. He helped me and my wife for 2022 TIGUAN SE 4motion. Highly recommended.

Service manager was outstanding! I m from Odenton,Md and my oil idiot light came on. Car had less than 20,000 miles on it so I was worried. Manager asked me if I had made an appointment and I had not. Manager came outside to check out my car. Topped me off with a quart of synthetic oil and also topped off my coolant. There was no charge! That s service!

Joe Q. and Pete were a huge help! I d recommend them to anyone who s in the market to buy a new car. They got me out of my lease and into a brand new 2023 VW Taos. They made the whole process so simple and painless. You can tell they truly enjoy their jobs and helping people. I know I can come back to them at any time with questions and they ll be more than happy to help!

Very disappointed that the dealership that sold me my brand new 2022 atlas can t find time to fix it. Went to fill up the gas tank and the gas tank door would not unlock. Rather that rip it off l, I called my vw dealer, Atlantic VW in egg harbor twp nj. They told me that they can t see the car for two weeks and that I should call another dealer, because they suck. They were quick to take my money when buying but terrible at following through with fixing warranty problems. I did call another vw dealership and they took care of us the very same day. Car is all fixed thanks to Prestige. Goodbye Atlantic VW! I will not be buying any new cars from you in the future.

On Saturday, my wife and I went to Atlantic VW on Tilton Rd. to facilitate the purchase of her leased 2019 Volkswagen Atlas. Before going we spoke with a representative at the dealership letting them know what we would be doing and setup an appointment to come in since we were traveling from an hour away. We spoke with VW corporate and had our buyout price and financing already taken care of. We chose to go to Atlantic VW because they were integrated with the credit union that we were getting our loan from which would save us a trip to PA and needing to fill out paperwork directly at the credit union. We got to Atlantic VW around 4pm and spoke with a "manager" about our buyout. He said he needed to run the numbers through VW to make sure they were accurate. (something we already did) After waiting a half-hour, the "manager" came back with a piece of paper showing a price nearly $2,000 more than our lease-end buyout price. He said they needed to do a "multi-point inspection" before officially selling us the car. When I disputed that, he then made a LEGAL representation, saying the car "legally" couldn't leave their dealership and be sold to us without the inspection and fee. Both claims are completely false and clearly a way to scare people into giving away $2,000. This was a BAIT and SWITCH tactic. I have purchased vehicles after a lease prior and know that this is not legally required. Lastly, the dealership itself was very dirty and very unprofessional looking. The "waiting area" had two ripped up sofas without legs on them just thrown on the ground, the majority of the dealership looked empty, leaves and trash were on the floor. Bottom line is that I would never recommend this place to anyone and do your homework before going to ensure you don't get taken advantage of by predatory salespeople. Had my wife gone alone she likely would have unknowingly just completed the deal and been ripped off! I will be speaking with Volkswagen USA to further describe my experience.Update: Received a very generic Google response that they want to resolve the issue today. It's clearly a canned response if you look at all of their Google reviews. Something tells me they don't resolve many of these issues. There is a clear lack of leadership and zero focus on truly engaging with the customer to help provide a good experience.

Emmanuel Mejia was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He was super knowledgeable about the car and its features. I was there with my father for a few hours and he always made sure we were comfortable. We had some great conversations and he got us an awesome deal so big thanks to him. Drove away happy in my new 22' VW Taos SE!

They got me in the car I wanted, but the experience was terrible and I'm still dealing with it almost 6 months later. First, I've never been prayed on by a sales representative more in my life. The amount of sob stories was exhausting. Second, they charged me the wrong amount for my down payment then demanded I come in to pay the balance (I was out of town and eventually was able to pay over the phone). Worst of all, they never surrendered my tags in to the DMV for my trade in. Now I'm dealing with a suspended registration due to an uninsured vehicle that I haven't owned for 6 months. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership.

Terrible experience. The used car (2018 VW Atlas) we tried to test drive had the check engine light on. We called in advance to hold this car and they had all afternoon to remedy this. The interior was full of stains from previous owner. They also offered us $6,000 less than my trade was worth. (We were offered $12,000 at a different dealership, no haggling necessary). Shop elsewhere. You won t regret it.

I love my used 2020 Tiguan. Very happy and grateful to find it at Atlantic VW. Kyle K. was fantastic in his follow-up with the sale. He came into this process for me at the end, and he was great. Thank you Kyle. --- Areas for process improvement for others are:1. Auto Loan Search: All car dealers , including Atlantic, need to be more transparent when searching for an auto loan for buyers. E.g. best interest rate vs getting a monthly payment they think the buyer will be happy with. The dealers, including Atlantic, should be a better advocate for the buyers in this regards.2. Loan Processing: The process to submit paperwork to the bank for the loan needs to move along more quickly. The buyer should not have to be up against expiring temporary plates and assorted other issues that come with this process not being completed ASAP..3. Customer Service: A reminder that all phone calls should be returned to the customer/buyer within 24 hours.

I am so happy I decided to check out Atlantic Volkswagen after being with another brand for over 10 years. Ahmed was friendly, not pushy, & I was extremely impressed by his knowledge of the vehicle s features. The process was seamless & it s the first time I ve left a dealership feeling completely satisfied with our deal. I am in love with my 2021 Atlas!

Be very careful, terrible business especially to be a certified VW dealer. Contacted dealer by phone and made an offer on a vehicle. I received a call saying my offer would be accepted by management if I was able to make it to the dealer that day. Took my funds as agreed for the car and drove 3.5hrs one way to the dealership on that same day. Upon arrival no one seemed to know I was coming or that I had an appointment, the car was filthy covered in bird droppings and salt spray. The fuel light was on, a marker light bulb was out, and the engine light was on. I was expecting a vehicle at least clean and without problems within reason to test drive. I test drove the car still and sat down with a salesman who was very helpful. He brought back the paperwork with the numbers from the manager that accepted my offer and they were 25% higher than we agreed! Almost 5,000$ dollars! We spoke about the deal and numbers and ended up having to leave the dealer empty handed after they wouldn't honor the price they agreed too. This is terrible business! Drove a total of 7 hours for nothing but a scam and lies! Worst part is after looking past the dirty car and the problems it had and still wanting the car they wouldn't honor their word! Please be careful if conducting business with this company.

I submitted my credit application on line and was approved. They stated they could not "see" it. I sent screen shots of the approved application. They advised me that I need to resubmit it. I said I would not do that because it will hit my credit report twice. After agreeing that they had everything they needed, I checked my credit report and sure enough the resubmitted an application again. After reaching out to them, the response I received was "Ugh Sorry" Not an ethical way to do business.

I have purchased many cars and this was by far the easiest transaction without any nonsense. I asked what I had to do to keep a certain monthly payment in a certain car and how much down. I worked with Dan in the internet department, Albert and Bill as mangers and Ryan as the salesperson with help from William (Trainee). This is the first time, I had an answer to the simple question , how much for this car without going back and forth numerous times Will be back again and will definitely recommend!!

I scheduled an appointment yesterday for 8am today (12/27). Upon arrival, there were 4 people waiting on line with only 2 service advisors at the counters. Once I finally made it to an advisor 15 minutes had passed. The gentlemen (larger guy) barely greeted me and checked in my vehicle for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I asked how long the service would take and he quickly responded with around an hour. After an hour and 45 minutes had passed, I left the waiting room which is in the new car show room to get the status of my vehicle. Only to see it parked in the lot and my work order no where to be found. Unlike the initial service advisor this gentleman (smaller guy) was very polite and apologetic about how long the service took. He gave me a discount for my tire rotation, which I greatly appreciated and is the only reason this review received 2 stars rather than 1. Additionally, when I have an oil change completed at my home dealership (where I bought the car) the oil usage is good for 10k mileage not 5k like it is here. Why the difference?Ultimately, I would not recommend this for a VW Service Dealership for basic maintenance. I m unable to speak to any other service as this was my first time there.
