I had an outstanding experience at Open Road Volvo in Edison! After visiting three different dealerships, they stood out as the true experts who correctly diagnosed and fixed my car's issue.This has been going in for a whole year, and until I visited them no one was able to figure out the problem.It was very easy to schedule an appointment for the very next day, and they didn't make me wait weeks like some other dealerships in the area.Their dedication to solving the problem was remarkable, and their commitment to my satisfaction was unwavering. I felt truly cared for, with transparent and honest communication throughout the process. They were also extremely reasonable in terms of the cost for the repair.A huge shoutout to service advisor Joe C. and service manager Q for going above and beyond to assist me. Their friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness were unparalleled. Service department is theeee worst in history of dealerships. I do not recommend at all. They keep canceling my service appointment on a manufacturer mishap. They sold me a lemon vehicle and just don't care. Finally I've had enough and contacted consumer affairs.

So my husband took my Volvo XC99 here for routine maintenance and computer updating last year, and they charged us $1100+ . Despite being told when I purchased the vehicle a couple of years ago (and confirmed through other Volvo maintenance service centers since,) that routine computer updating is included free of charge for the lifetime of the vehicle!!! This Edison Volvo maintenance department RIPPED US OFF ALMOST $500.00 on INCLUDED computer/gps updating! I m submitting our receipts and original sales contract to the BBB I m so ticked off by this! It s not solely about the money but the dishonest con game they ran on my spouse, who paid the bill thinking it was legit. I m wondering who else got scammed on services, because we cannot be the only ones this was intentional and not an honest mistake!Services: Car waxing, Auto maintenance
